I have travelled to China every year for the last 6 years and have been in many less known cities and have stayed at less than par hotels all over China and I have to say that this ranks on the top of Chinese domestic brands.|I highly recommended to anyone going to this lovely city. Although it is not exactly city centre, the amenities are 5 Star by North American standards.|The rooms are extremely clean and have everything that you would need.|The breakfast buffet is extraordinary and had a huge variety, surprisingly, their bake goods were fresh. I had the croissants and a Danish, it was delicious. The staff were helpful.|If only the coffee were brewed more tastefully, I would give it a seven. |Note to travellers during off Summer season. The temperature controls are fixed, if the room temperature is below 29, so if you want to be cooler, you must ask someone to override the controls.

I stayed 3 nights, everything was perfect. I had an executive room which was huge. |The bed and the pillows were comfortable, big bathroom, clean room, really nice. |The breakfast had plenty of choices and the food was good. |At the reception helpful staff, from 10 o'clock you can change money. |The wi-fi was working good. |You can ask for a map of the city at the concierge desk, as well for a taxi. |I recommend the hotel, it was excellent.

I stayed at the Longemont Hotel in Shenyang for 8 nights. The room was large, clean and quiet. The bed was HUGE...the size of a kang! The buffet breakfast was outstanding with many delicious choices. If you want an omelet, just ask for it at the egg station. I didn't eat dinner there but there is a restaurant and a "beer garden" on sight with lots of choices. There is a mall next door and a number of small Chinese restaurants on the other side of Pangjiang Street. This hotel is also very close to the Pangjiang Jie subway stop (take a left when going out the main entrance and the subway stop is near the bus station about 400 yards from the hotel). I found this location to be very convenient relative to getting to Central Street (Zhong Jie), Beiling Park (Beiling Gong Yuan - this is on line 2) and the train station (Shenyang Zhan). I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful...you don't need to speak Chinese in order to communicate. There is also a very nice fully-equipped gym for exercising and a swimming pool on the 7th floor. I will definitely stay at the Longemont when I return to Shenyang.

I stayed here for a business trip on the Longemont hotel side (2-hotels share the lobby). Room was big, clean and quiet. Bathroom was also big, clean and up to standard. Air conditioning was not the best but acceptable considering we are between seasons here. ||There is a mall right next to hotel with Carrefoure, Decathlon and food court. There was a McDonalds and KFC there.||I would stay here again for sure.

We stayed here for two nights in April. The hotel is great but we did smell some people smoking in the hotel lobby, and very strong cigarette smell in the hotel restaurant. The room is clean and large with wifi access. Overall, a good quality hotel for the price. ||There is a big shopping center next door with pharmacy, Watson, and Carrefour in case you need to do some shopping. ||There is also a small morning market available before 8am about 15 minutes waking from the hotel.

When I say a big bed it was very BIG and very comfortable, a party bed perhaps?🤔|We only stayed here overnight on our way back from North Korea. A brilliant breakfast buffet with omelettes cooked to order and excellent coffee. Both Chinese and Western tastes catered for. A great hotel.👍

As an American who has stayed in some less-than-desirable Chinese hotels This one was a breath of fresh air. The service there was absolutely flawless our entire time which is huge for a Chinese hotel. I cannot tell you how many times that I've had service difficulties in China because I wasn't doing something the way they thought I should be doing it. There was none of that here. ||||I stayed on the Rayfont side of the hotel. Longemont and Rayfont are connected and have the same lobby, desk and restaurant. As I understand it the Rayfont rooms are considered 4 star and the Longemont rooms are considered 5 star. Our room was nice and the bathroom and shower were among the nicest I've experienced in any hotel at this price level. The room includes just about anything you'd need in travels including robes, water kettle, tea, sewing kit, glasses and bowls, etc.. There is a micro fridge with overpriced drinks and snacks. Television includes some solid English options. The only drawback to the room was that the bed was hard even by Chinese standards and the pillow had no support. I expect a firm bed in China but after two nights of achy back and neck I ended up going to the Decathlon outdoor store in the Longemont shopping mall a short walk away and buying a backpacking camping mat for about $15 US and that made a world of difference. I also bought a cheap inflatable pillow to put under my hotel pillow so it would have a little neck support. I actually usually travel China with both of these items due to the hard beds but I didn't have the luggage room this time since I had my wife and two kids along.||||We ate at the breakfast buffet several times and it was good. Once again the service was amazingly wonderful. The male manager there sometimes was very warm and good-humored and he spoke English. I sincerely appreciated that - one of the highlights of the service there. I only wish the buffet items there were kept warmer. It seems that this is an issue all over China where people do not seem to realize that dangerous bacteria can form when the food is not kept hot enough. The temperature of some of the foods in the buffet would actually be against the law here in the US. Nevertheless, I practiced good judgement and I was able to get a good breakfast. They have some great pastries, fresh made breads and croissants. They have a really cool noodle station where the guy takes a limp of dough and makes the noodles right in front of you and then cooks them. There are lots of choices in this massive buffet that should please any taste from around the world. ||||The pool area is pretty nice too. Be sure to bring a swim cap. We didn't have them at first but true to their impeccable service we were not harassed about it at all as we would be at some places in China. You can buy one at the pool front desk. They have a very large health club as well.||||There is a lot to do in the area. The Longemont shopping mall is less than a block away and is packed with restaurants including American fast food chains, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.., stores and a mind-boggling number of entertainment choices (including an IMAX theater and a full-blown amusement park with roller coasters on the top floor). You can also play basketball there if you're craving some physical activity. ||||Keep it up, Longemont! I will recommend you to anyone traveling to Shenyang in the future!

Great rooms, very modern, clean and with outlets directly next to the bed above the night stand for modern travelers and their devices. The desk in the room is super long and a great space that even 4 people could work at side by side. The lobby is huge. I stayed in the Rayfont side of the hotel.
