Jun 16, 2023To whom it may concern,Dear Sir/Madam,Subject: Complaint on inhumane handlingI write to complain about a very bad experience at Four Points by Sheraton Yongzhou, Chongqing, China on June 15, 2023. The problem stemmed from the fact that we did not bring our ID cards when we check-in. A small online program for verifying ID card provided by the front desk could not read the ID information of me and my mother. I presented a validated ID information by the similar program but from different city to your people but they refused to use. I further asked the hotel if we could seek help from relevant government depar**ents. But my request was ignored. Instead your front desk people asked us to go to the nearby police station to seek for help. I loved to do that. Since it was already past 9 o'clock in the evening and my 70-year-old mother and my 11-month old baby were with me, I requested a room for them stay and rest first. This was a very legitimate and reasonable request since it might take a long time to deal with police. I could not believe your hotel staff simply declined my asking. Sheraton is unquestionably one of the world most-known and good star rated hotel chain. We are very disappointed by how this was handled by this hotel staff. Your company has always upheld the supremacy of great social values that should include human rights. I understand there is a standard protocol for checking-in to a hotel. But the way they handle our case is seems very unprofessional, unfriendly, ill-trained and even inhumane. I am looking forward to a good explanation from the hotel management and how this similar case will be handled late on.Truly yours.Ms. Jolin Bu
