Hong Kong real estate is one of the most expensive in the world so given the price, size and location, this apartment hotel is acceptable. However, beware of check in as there is nobody at the building. The building has a couple of restaurants and then a few units that has been converted to accommodation. When you get there, you have to call a number that is stuck on the wall listing Y serviced apartment (which is not the same name shown on Booking.com). If you don’t have a local phone, it might be a bit inconvenient as you need to call to get instructions to your room. The sofa in the apartment are stained. The dishes and cutlery looks like they need to be washed before use. The TV only has a few local channels. The room’s furniture is showing a lot of wear. On the good side, you are smack in Wanchai with restaurants, bar and shopping. The location is convenient to bus, tram and MTR. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in HK. This is cheap in comparison for the location.

I was planning on staying for a week but checked out within 30 mins of arrival. The photos show a trendy, clean looking serviced apartment. What I found was the opposite- it’s rundown, old furniture and unclean.
