酒店是一个藏族人开的，里面很多装饰都是明显的藏族风情。洗手间的隔断都是用藏式图案绘成的。酒店吃的东西都是他们亲自做的，味道很好吃，尤其是烹饪手艺很棒，他们对人非常热心，住进去之后感觉服务员很忠诚

Good hotel with a personal touch. We were welcomed in Dutch by Jim's son. The rooms were nice with good beds, the hotel has a nice terras at the roof. Breakfast was very good with yoghurt with fresh fruit and pancakes. The hotel is decorated with local colourfull wood, you can sit in front of your room. It is near the old citycentre of Dali, so you walk to the centre. They offer nice daytrips, we have made a trip to the countryside. Really interesting.

很棒的酒店，很有人情味。Jim的儿子用荷兰语热情地接待了我们。房间很舒适，床也很舒服，酒店屋顶还有一个漂亮的露台。早餐很美味，有酸奶、新鲜水果和煎饼。酒店用当地色彩缤纷的木材装饰，您可以在房间前小憩。酒店靠近大理古城中心，步行即可到达市中心。酒店还提供不错的一日游，我们去了一趟乡村，真的很有趣。

Jim's Tibetan Hotel in Dali is lying on a quiet place near the old town of Dali. Here is starting the Tibetan feeling and hospitality. The staff let feel you home directly and the rooms are clean and the food is excellent. When you want you can make excursions to nice places in the surroundings with guide Jim or Henriette. They have many knowledge and experience. Then you come to special places to see the country life and make contact with the local people. Our stay there was excellent and we still remember them every day.

大理吉姆藏式酒店坐落在大理古城附近一处宁静的环境中。这里是藏式风情和热情好客的开始。工作人员让您宾至如归，房间干净整洁，食物美味可口。您可以随时跟随导游吉姆或亨丽埃特游览周边的美景。他们知识渊博，经验丰富。之后，您可以前往一些特别的地方，体验乡村生活，与当地人交流。我们在那里的住宿体验非常棒，至今仍记忆犹新。

A une dizaine de minutes à pied de la ville de Dali. Dès l'entrée, on découvre une chaleureuse atmosphère tibétaine et un accueil formidable. ||Nous avions payé un supplément pour avoir la chambre sur le toit avec terrasse. Nous ne l'avons pas regretté bien que les autres chambres soient très bien . Belle vue sur le lac et les maisons bai toutes proches. Le matin, le soleil éclaire les montagnes environnantes. ||La chambre en elle-même n'est pas grande mais pleine de charme, avec son lit en alcôve entouré de colonnes rouges, de tentures à bandes orange et son plafond décoré de peintures de type bai. Les portes sont rouges avec des motifs en relief dorés de même que les beaux meuble et chaises dans la salle de bain. C'est surprenant de découvrir la vaste salle de bain , elle aussi décorée de peintures et de colonnes.||Jim est vraiment d'une gentillesse et d'une serviabilité extraordinaires . Il nous a cuisiné un ragoût de yak aux légumes à s'en lécher les babines. Très bon petit déjeuner aussi avec de l'excellent café du Yunnan. On serait bien encore restés une nuit de plus.||A recommander pour ceux qui aiment des hôtels typiques, de caractère , ceux qui aiment les hôtels modernes sans âme , s'abstenir.

Jim’s Tibetan Hotel is located close to the South gate of Dali’s ancient city, tucked away in a quiet alley.||The hotel has a homey atmosphere and is decorated in a colorful Bai and Tibetan style. You may enjoy the sunshine on the roof terrace at the top floor where you can also enjoy the view over the whole city. Rooms are clean, have comfortable beds as well as airconditioning (hot/cold). Every day starts with a delicious breakfast, provided by the hospitable and friendly staff.||You can find all kinds of restaurants closeby and if you want to make an interesting daytrip to the countryside around Dali, then search for China Minority Travel or Dali countryside trips.

Unser Bus hat uns am Stadtrand von Dali um 22:00 an einer Schnellstraße abgesetzt und ein netter, wenn auch betrunkener Fahrer hat sich zum Glück als Taxi angeboten. Da wir keine Lust hatten um diese Zeit nach Übernachtungen zu suchen, sind wir zu Jim's Tibetan Hotel und hatten nochmal Glück: Jim war noch auf, hatte Zimmer und lud uns zum trinken ein. Mehrere Gläser Baijiu später betraten wir unser Quartier: zwei Schlafzimmer mit Verbindungstür und ein Bad. Ein bischen teuer (300 CNY/Nacht) aber dafür mit Frühstück (Müsli, Ruhreier, Pfannkuchen, Obst, usw). Das Bad war vielleicht ein bischen staubig, aber dafür waren die Zimmer sehr bequem und ruhig. WiFi funktioniert sehr gut. Jim ist der ehmalige Besitzer des berühmten Peace Hotels in der Altstadt. Inzwischen ist dieser Teil der Altstadt so laut, daß die ruhige, aber altstadtnahe Lage des neuen Hotels sehr willkommen ist!||Für Besucher, die Hilfe benötigen, bietet Jim viele Ausflüge, auch nach Tibet, sein Heimatland.||Dieses Hotel ist auch für Familien gut geignet und Jim spricht ganz hervorragend Englisch.||Achtung: es lohnt sich nicht hier Wäsche (auch wenn billig) waschen zu lassen. Unsere Wäsche war danach nicht besonders sauber und zudem zusammengeknüllt und nicht gefaltet.||Ich würde hier auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten wollen.

Jim's Tibetan Hotel is located close to the Dali ancient town, is only few meters far. We really enjoy the view from the roof top from where you can see all Dali, Erhai Lake and the mountains. The room was split into two small room plus a toilet, it was clean but a bit cold, I would suggest to place an heater in each room, only one is not enough to warm up the whole main room. For the rest everything was fine, and I definitely recommend this special hotel for you stay in Dali.

吉姆藏式酒店靠近大理古城，只有几米远。我们非常喜欢屋顶的景色，从那里可以俯瞰大理、洱海和群山。房间被分成两个小房间和一个卫生间，虽然干净，但有点冷，我建议在每个房间里都放一个暖气，因为只有一个暖气不足以让整个主房间暖和。其他方面都很好，我强烈推荐您在大理入住这家特别的酒店。

We were here also 14 years ago and in those days Jim's was the place to be. ||Old Dali has improved dramatically in terms of restoring old houses and streets. also the restaurants offer a much bigger choice and now have English menu's.||The hotel still has Jim and since it was not busy he could devote a lot of time with us, including a one day "minority tour". Breakfast brings little choice, it is pancakes, some fruit and sweetened yogurt. the rooms were ok and certainly value for money.||All in all three days, very successful also thanks to Jim's company.
