We stayed here for two nights in August. It was my first trip to Shangrila so I don't know about other options. Our rooms were decent sized but very sparsely furnished. The sheets and towels were freshly changed but they did not feel fresh to us. There was warm shower but the water took a while to get hot. The overall cleanliness is not so great as you see hairs and debris frim previous travelers on the floor. The service was ok for the area, not good compared to bigger cities. We had no views to speak of from our rooms. Although they have a charming looking courtyard, it was not an openly social or warm place. They try to accommodate if you ask. Breakfast was very basic but enough calories. Coffee is terrible. Tea is better. I would say this is an ok option but you should try to do better.

Great location, nice rooms, and good breakfast. This was an unexpected pleasure for our stay in Shangri-la. The rooms are very nice with good cable TV (English movies and TV shows!!!) Breakfast each day was simple but very good and with local ingredients. Unlike any other Chinese breakfast we've had. Very pleasant staff at the front desk too!

Overall satisfied with this hotel. The front desk very helpful and nice, she helped us to order food from 美团.The location is awesome.

Location is good, near north gate.Good service with airport transfer.In bahtroom, water drain is not qood (8608)The carper feels dusty

Friendly hotel with western standard rooms.||||Located directly in centre of Shangri La old town, which is very worthwhile to visit.||Would like to go back.||Remnants of the authentic folclore (like the public dancing on the central square) are still present, although much less then 5 years ago.

友好的酒店，拥有西式标准客房。||||位于香格里拉古城中心，非常值得参观。||想再回去。||真实的民俗遗迹（如中央广场上的公共舞蹈）仍然存在，尽管比五年前少了很多。
