Novotel Shanghai Clover Hotel

I booked this hotel for its proximity to Shanghai Disneyland and the pictures look good. And it didn't disappoint. The rooms were very modern, clean, huge and the beds were comfortable. I like the separate shower (especially the rain shower) and toilet area. The free shutter to SDL is very convenient and a bonus but the hotel is located 5 minutes away from the local metro (line 11). It's only 1 station away from Shanghai Disneyland station. It's too hard to find the bus for the return trip and the hotel didn't offer very good instructions on how to board the return bus. But the train station is only one stop away and costs RMB3. I would stay at this hotel again if I were to visit SDL but it's too far away from the city centre (I booked another hotel for the city). The hotel offers an extra service to book early entry passes into SDL which was really really helpful. The listed price was RMB189 and I paid RMB210 for this service and it was worth every cent. I entered SDL at 7am and was able to do all the rides I wanted in 1 day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel, incredible staff, great shuttle services, amazing hot breakfast options. Wong was a key player using his translator to be quick and accommodating to our questions and needs, he really made the hotel memorable in the best way. Johnny was our tour guide and we adored him! Thank you Wong and Johnny! We hope to return someday and see you all again.

Slept in a room with 3 single beds. Service was good. Location is quite isolated but near to disneyland - they provide shuttles at selected timings too. There is also a shuttle that goes to the airport and city areas (to make up for it's off-city locale).Our room was clean, but the bathe don't drain well (gets a bit flooded after bathing).

Good value hotel with 2 way shuttle service (every 30min) to Disneyland Shanghai. Most staff will speak only mandarin. Room is well serviced and cleaned. However lights in the room is quite dim. Size is good. Some rooms are facing the railway track so ask for your free earbuds and eye mask. For charging, there are 2 USB ports and the room come with additional box of charging cable. No Netflix and TV programs are mostly Chinese drama. Connection is quite slow and cannot connect to apps or websites easily

Great location for shanghai disneyland trip. If you want to take metro, is a 7 mins walk. Costco nearby too. The hotel is great, the room was spacious and bed/pillow was good. Best thing is the breakfast which fuel us for the disneyland adventure. Big shout out to the trainee cleaner lady on the 5th floor. Helped to changed new set of towels and clear the rubbish. Very good service from the cleaner lady.

I booked this for its proximity to Shanghai Disneyland and it was worth it! It’s only 5 mins walk to the metro and 1 stop to SHDL. The hotel itself offers free shuttle services to SHDL. it was good but the return trip was not easy to locate. I took the metro to return. The hotel is in between many factories. It feels safe walking back even late at night. They also provided added Disney services like assisting to buy additional early entry pass for a small fee. Room itself is modern, clean and comfortable. Will stay with this hotel again if going to SHDL.

Perfect! We had a family room with very spacious place and everything is just perfect from the day we arrived till we left. We booked this hotel as it is near to Disneyland and Pudong airport. The hotel provided free shuttle bus service and we love the complementary porridge that was prepared for the guest at night.

Friendly staffs and very convenient location to stay if you want to go to Disneyland. Room was great. My room was mickey and minnie theme. Breakfast included for 2. Food was ok, not that great. Location was good, around 10-15 minutes away from Disneyland. They do have airport transfer as well. I was given 2 bottles of tea and 2 set of disneyland lanyard upon my leaving. Overall, my stay's experience was great here.
