Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are great with fantastic showers and the price is value for money. Location is great, in the old town but removed from all the noise so a good night sleep is guaranteed. English is spoken very well by most of the staff too! Recommended.

很棒的酒店，工作人员非常友好和乐于助人。房间很棒，有很棒的淋浴，而且价格物有所值。位置很棒，位于老城区，但远离所有噪音，保证晚上睡个好觉。大多数员工的英语也说得很好！受到推崇的。

Booked and paid through Agoda.com. We stayed a total of 4 nights, 3 nights in a family room and 1 night in a double room Ensuite. The family room (A47) that we were put in is at the ground floor faces the bar but it was never noisy at all, there are hardly any customers in the bar. Room is spacious and bathroom is clean with hot running water with good water pressure. Room has ac too. |Fanerba hotel is located near the north gate and can be accessible with cars and taxis. This is important if you have children and heavy luggages with rollers. Cars are not permitted in the ancient town where thousands of guesthouses are available. Imagine pulling the luggages through the crowded cobbled stones alleys searching for your guesthouse? This is one of the reason we decided to stay in FanerBa. |What i also like about the hotel is it is just a 5 mins walk to the ancient town, close yet away from the noise and tourists. Many restaurants can be found within a short walking distance near the hotel. A few minutes walk will also take you to the main road where there are taxis and public buses available.|We moved to a double bed Ensuite (C102) on the last night. Staffs were nice enough to move our luggage to the room while we were out sightseeing. The room is just in front of the stairs, laundry, kitchen and staff area. It can be a bit noisy as staff and guests walk pass. It smells too since its next to the kitchen. Stay away from this room.|Though staffs are helpful, they speak little or no English. |We are pretty satisfied with the hotel and room and will definitely return to FanerBa.||Tip: FanerBa provides a map of the town but I would suggest to buy a more detailed map with English for RMB6, available at the Tourist Information Counter in SiFang Jie. Signages are not clear and there are just too many alleys.|

通过 agoda.com 预订并付款。我们一共住了 4 晚，其中 3 晚是家庭房，1 晚是带浴室的双人房。我们住的家庭房（A47）在一楼面向酒吧，但一点也不吵，酒吧里几乎没有顾客。房间宽敞，浴室干净，有热自来水，水压良好。房间里也有空调。 |凡尔巴酒店位于北门附近，开车和出租车均可到达。如果您有孩子和带滚轮的重型行李，这一点很重要。古镇内不允许汽车通行，这里有数千家宾馆。想象一下拖着行李穿过拥挤的鹅卵石小巷寻找您的宾馆吗？这是我们决定留在范儿坝的原因之一。 |我还喜欢这家酒店的一点是，步行 5 分钟即可到达古镇，又近又远离喧嚣和游客。酒店附近距离许多餐馆仅有很短的步行路程。步行几分钟即可到达主干道，那里有出租车和公共巴士。|昨晚我们搬到了一张双人床套间（C102）。当我们外出观光时，工作人员很友善地将我们的行李搬到房间。房间位于楼梯、洗衣房、厨房和员工区前面。当工作人员和客人走过时可能会有点吵。由于靠近厨房，所以也有味道。远离这个房间。|虽然工作人员很乐于助人，但他们很少或不会说英语。 |我们对酒店和房间都很满意，一定会再来范儿巴的。||提示：范儿巴提供了小镇的地图，但我建议花6元购买一份更详细的英文地图，可以在游客信息柜台购买四方杰.指示牌不清晰，巷子太多。|

Today, we are writing from reception of fanerba hotel. It is 2 o'clock in the night. We has booked and PAYED two double rooms in agoda.com and advised that we would arrive late(about 23hours). When we arrive this night the recepcionist told us that there is no room available!! When the Manager came, she look for another room in ore hotel. When we see the room, It was awfull. Imagine the situation, after 1 hour waiting we have to call to another hotel to see if they have aviability. we wanted they refund us our money. They said that agoda has not paid them and they don't have the money now, and i have seen the cashier with a lot of money in his hands. After this, all staff go away and close the hotel and the reception and let us alone. They wanted us to sleep in once chair?? Incredible.||After waiting alone 1hour more, the propietary of the hotel came to the hotel. He don't want to refund our money(189USD!!) because the other hotel cost triple than fanerba. What a lay! We renunced to sleep in the other hotel to see ir they return us our money. They accepted and return our money, but we have now the problem to look for another hotel, and it's 3:00 AM!! So, Poor service and the worst experience in China. I hope no one would book any room at this hotel.  I am going to try that agoda don't work with this hotel. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

今天，我们是在范内巴酒店前台写的。现在是半夜两点。我们在agoda.com预订并支付了两间双人房，并告知我们会晚到（大约23小时）。当我们今晚到达时，接待员告诉我们没有房间了！当经理来的时候，她在矿石酒店寻找另一个房间。当我们看到房间时，它太糟糕了。想象一下这种情况，等了 1 个小时后我们必须打电话到另一家酒店看看他们是否有空房。我们希望他们退还我们的钱。他们说agoda还没有给他们付款，他们现在没有钱，而且我看到收银员手里拿着很多钱。此后，所有工作人员都离开并关闭酒店和接待处，让我们单独呆着。他们想让我们睡在曾经的椅子上？难以置信。||独自等待了1个小时多后，酒店老板来到了酒店。他不想退还我们的钱（189美元！！），因为另一家酒店的价格是fanerba的三倍。多好啊！我们放弃在另一家酒店睡觉，看他们把钱还给我们。他们接受并退还了我们的钱，但我们现在遇到了寻找另一家酒店的问题，而且现在是凌晨 3:00！所以，服务很差，是中国最糟糕的经历。我希望没有人会在这家酒店预订任何房间。  我打算尝试一下agoda 是否与这家酒店合作。避开这家酒店。

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights and found the family rooms to be very spacious and comfortable.||Please note though that 'family rooms' in China usually consist of a double bed and one single. Fortunately our 7 year old was small enough to sleep on the sofa and they provided linen for this.||They were well appointed with tea/coffee facilities, tv's, wifi, balconies, clothes airers, hairdryers etc.||The hotel is well situated near one of the gates of the old town and while close enough to comfortably walk to the main square, it is far enough away to be quiet.||There is a nice bar and outdoor seating area which we unfortunately didn't get a chance to use as it rained the whole time we were in Lijiang!||We did have a problem with our laundry (we were expecting it to come back clean and dried) however with the rain it didn't get dried. We soon discovered that very few (if any) hotels have tumble dryers and most rely on sunshine to dry clothes.||That said the manager was outstanding in helping rectify the situation (we were flying out the next day) and could not have done more to help us (including waivering the charges and buying us a drink)||Their ability to turn a bad situation into a good one is a difficult thing to do and therefore I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

我们一家四口在这里住了 3 个晚上，发现家庭房非常宽敞舒适。||请注意，中国的“家庭房”通常由一张双人床和一张单人床组成。 幸运的是，我们 7 岁的孩子很小，可以睡在沙发上，他们为此提供了床单。||设备齐全，配有茶/咖啡设施、电视、无线网络、阳台、晾衣架、吹风机等。||酒店很好位于老城区的一扇大门附近，虽然足够近，可以舒适地步行到主广场，但距离足够远，所以很安静。||有一个不错的酒吧和户外休息区，不幸的是我们没有得到一个机会我们在丽江的时候一直在下雨，所以可以使用！||我们的衣服确实有问题（我们希望它能干净干燥地回来），但是下雨了，它没有被烘干。 我们很快发现很少（如果有的话）酒店有滚筒式烘干机，大多数都依靠阳光来烘干衣服。||这就是说，经理在帮助纠正这种情况方面表现出色（我们第二天就飞走了），但他无法做到这一点更多地帮助我们（包括免除费用并请我们喝一杯）||他们将坏情况变成好情况的能力是一件很难做到的事情，因此我强烈推荐住在这里。

The location is very well, quiet but very handy to the center of the old town. Friendly staff and very clean room! ||||The bar is the most exciting place, very special in the old town, the manager has a very excellent taste of music. BTW, they have a proxy to make visiting facebook, twitter easily.

位置非常好，安静，但去老城区中心很方便。友好的工作人员和非常干净的房间！ ||||酒吧是最热闹的地方，在老城区很有特色，经理的音乐品味非常出色。顺便说一句，他们有一个代理可以轻松访问 Facebook、Twitter。

Very nice room, big bathroom, balcony. Hard to find, no english sign.
