Dirty and run down, this hotel is a couple blocks down from the bus station. Otherwise the location was poor: not near any restaurants or points of interest. ||||It's one of the many Luoping lodging establishments that is trying to make an entire year's income in the two or three months of the flower-blooming season, and is therefore grossly overpriced. ||||I had a room on the 3rd floor, reachable by stairs. The room lacked basic furnishings and looked like it had been stripped to supply parts for other rooms. Table lamp on the floor, electric outlets didn't work, peeling wallpaper, heavily stained carpet, one broken chair. ||||Bathroom had a shower but no enclosure. When you bathe, the entire room gets wet. The water runs out into the entry hall. ||||This was a deluxe room and it was supplied with a computer, but the internet connection was not functional. One good thing was an electric mattress pad. But there was there was no place to plug it in. ||||Never again. I left early. Couldn't face a second night here.
