San Sa Village

From the time we arrived to the time we departed we were looked after every step of the way. I have to say Zoe made our stay easy as we didn't have much time to go to the Great Wall but she organised everything for us. The hotel itself is stylish and the Restaurant food superb. I would definitely recommend and give it 5 stars

从我们抵达酒店到离开，全程都受到了无微不至的照顾。不得不说，Zoe让我们的住宿体验非常轻松，因为我们时间有限，去长城游览的时间不多，但她帮我们安排好了一切。酒店本身时尚雅致，餐厅的食物也堪称一流。我强烈推荐这家酒店，并给予五星好评。

Came here for dinner after a hike up Mutianyu. Highly recommend the Vietnamese restaurant at San Sa Village. A nice break from Chinese food and the service was also impressive. Simple yet fresh, tasty and hearty. We shared the coconut milk curry beef brisket 128rmb with rice, angus beef pho 108rmb, okra with garlic 48 RMB, sautéed water spinach 48rmb, shrimp paper rolls 68rmb. My kids attacked the food before I had a chance to snap some pics so pics from the menu. All yum!

爬完慕田峪后来这里吃晚餐。强烈推荐三沙村的越南餐厅。远离中餐，来这里用餐真是个不错的选择，服务也令人印象深刻。菜品简单却新鲜，美味又丰盛。我们点了椰奶咖喱牛腩饭（128元）、安格斯牛肉河粉（108元）、蒜蓉秋葵（48元）、炒空心菜（48元）和虾纸卷（68元）。孩子们还没来得及拍照就把食物吃光了，所以就照着菜单上的菜拍了。每道菜都好吃极了！

There are so much hype about Sansa Village and I have decided to plan an overnight stay at this hotel during my upcoming trip to Beijing. The booking process itself is extremely painful, I never got a reply after 2 emails to the property as I require special arrangement for a group of 3. I decided to book on booking.com. While booking.com clearly state that it is payment at property, I received a message from the property that I need to pay the full amount as deposit to the hotel within 24 hours or no less than 5 days otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. And the payment have to be made to Bank of Communication China. First of all, it is contradict to Booking.com booking policy. Secondly, 24 hours vs 5 days in advance, what is what? I have lived in China for 10 years before COVID, this is never a Beijinger hospitability.

桑莎村酒店最近名气很大，所以我决定在即将到来的北京之旅中入住一晚。但是预订过程极其糟糕，我给酒店发了两封邮件，因为我需要为三人团体安排特殊住宿，却始终没有收到回复。最后我决定在Booking.com上预订。Booking.com上明明写着是到店付款，但酒店却发信息说我必须在24小时内或至少5天内支付全额房费作为订金，否则预订将被取消。而且付款必须汇到交通银行。首先，这和Booking.com的预订政策完全矛盾。其次，提前24小时和提前5天到底哪个更合适？我在新冠疫情之前在中国生活了10年，这种待客之道完全不像北京人。

An Airbnb type hotel located at the foot of Great Wall. Traditional Chinese architecture with modern interior design but no television. It’s a place for city people to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

位于长城脚下的Airbnb式酒店。传统中式建筑，现代室内设计，但没有电视。这里是都市人放松身心、享受自然风光的好去处。
