An Airbnb type hotel located at the foot of Great Wall. Traditional Chinese architecture with modern interior design but no television. It’s a place for city people to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

There are so much hype about Sansa Village and I have decided to plan an overnight stay at this hotel during my upcoming trip to Beijing. The booking process itself is extremely painful, I never got a reply after 2 emails to the property as I require special arrangement for a group of 3. I decided to book on booking.com. While booking.com clearly state that it is payment at property, I received a message from the property that I need to pay the full amount as deposit to the hotel within 24 hours or no less than 5 days otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. And the payment have to be made to Bank of Communication China. First of all, it is contradict to Booking.com booking policy. Secondly, 24 hours vs 5 days in advance, what is what? I have lived in China for 10 years before COVID, this is never a Beijinger hospitability.

关于 Sansa Village 的宣传太多了，我决定在即将到来的北京之行期间计划在这家酒店过夜。 预订过程本身非常痛苦，我给酒店发了两封电子邮件后从未得到回复，因为我需要为 3 人团体进行特殊安排。我决定在 booking.com 上预订。 虽然booking.com明确说明是在酒店付款，但我收到酒店的消息，我需要在24小时内或不少于5天内向酒店支付全额押金，否则预订将被取消。 并且付款必须支付给中国交通银行。 首先，这与Booking.com的预订政策相矛盾。其次，24小时vs提前5天，什么是提前？ 新冠疫情发生之前，我在中国生活了10年，这绝不是北京人的热情好客。
