Our party had two rooms, one was a standard room and fairly close to the elevator, the other a deluxe and about an 8 minute walk down a VERY long, dark corridor. ||The rooms were dark and the lighting inadequate. They were generally clean, if a little tired in places, with the exception of the standard room shower enclosure. That was really very unpleasant; nothing that a very thorough deep clean couldn't have improved.|The deluxe room was a brighter and the bathroom very clean, but suffered from nightclub noise from a venue within the stadium. It caused a number of disturbed nights sleep. If booking, it could be worth requesting a room away from this area.||The bedding and towels were always fresh throughout our 10 day stay, and when requested, housekeeping quickly provided non feather pillows. They were like overfilled bean bags, but that is obviously the local alternative and did the job. Toiletries were also regularly replenished, and two bottles of drinking water were provided daily.||The entrance area and Reception is very hard to describe. Not like anywhere i have visited before. It looks tired and dated with a bit of a 60s vibe. The Reception staff were helpful, but on some occasions there was no one available that spoke English and that did prove difficult. Although, we generally got there in the end with the aid of a translation app.||The location of the hotel was ideal for our needs. Very close to everything Sanlitun has to offer and the subway a short walk away.||Would I recommend this hotel? For the location, yes - and it was reasonably priced. That said, there is no excuse for the state of the shower. Before booking again, I would definitely explore other possibilities in the locality.|

I returned to this hotel after a couple of years. The location has always been good for Sanlitun village and local nightlife. The hotel rooms are a showing signs of wear, but the rooms are clean, with fridge and kettle and good bathroom facilities. The doorman are helpful, especially for taxis and reception was very efficient. The area is surprisingly quiet and generally you can get a good nights sleep.||||Most important - the current price was really good value for money and much better value than neighbouring hotels that I recently stay in.||||If you want a reasonable room in a good location at currently a good price with no additional frills - this is currently the place to stay in this part of Beijing.

I stayed one night here in 2011 immediately after a trip to North Korea. Hotel is in one section of Workers Stadium between 2 subway stations, a bit of a walk but in a direct line between the two. Check in staff friendly & some speak fairly decent English. Lobby is a bit small. I booked a jacuzzi room. Thebroom was very nice & bathroom facilities very modern. The desk is narrow & stool uncomfortable. Good choice of channels with some English TV. Wifi was ok for China. Things get complicated with sports or concert events at the stadium as your access to hotel is limited. Just show your ŕoom key card to the police at the gate & they will let you in. Yashow clothing market is a few minutes walk away where you can find a wide selection of items: barter hard there. I ordered room service for dinner & the meal was very tasty & well presented. Comfortable bed by Chinese standards. Very unique hotel.

This hotel was located within Worker's stadium, and if you are watching concert in this stadium where usually concerts are being held, it would be nice. Location is good as Sanlitun is just a walking distance away, and you can use local subway, line no. 10. There are also a few malls around this location. Wifi is free. I did not have any breakfast for the room I had taken hence I am not sure if it is worth the money...There are a few pubs and cafe, all within a walking distance. One thing I dislike is the room is because it is dusty (carpet is a bit old) and ventilation is a bit poor.

I enjoyed my stay at A Hotel. I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable and just a little bit different to other hotel rooms. The most annoying part for me was that the TV would come on every time I put the key in the power socket. Many restaurants, bars and shops within 5 mins walk of the hotel. I felt very safe walking to and from the hotel and did not have any problems with people hanging around outside. There can be a bit of a walk to the room but as I wasn't going in and out of the hotel a lot it wasn't a problem. I had one of the rooms with a round bath tub in the middle of the room which was a bit novel. There were no events happening at the stadium during my visit. I appreciated having a fridge in my room. ||The staff were polite and courteous. ||The nearest metro station is Dongsishitiao line 2, it is a 15 min walk or one of the many 3 wheelers will take you for 10RMB.

体育场看台底下的一圈就是这个酒店，是看演唱会住的。在工体玩或者看演唱会是个好的去处，但是如果去北京城里玩不太好。房间的空间还是比较大，毕竟是体育场的走道，地方都很大，不缺空间。就是属于风格酒店，房间的视觉冲击比较强烈，有黑有红，跟其他酒店不一样。住着还蛮舒适的，电梯和房间的距离比较远，房间的装修比较好。价位也比较合理。

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from Sanlitun and close by to the club and nightlife on Workers Stadium W Road and a short distance from Dongzhimen where the airport train arrives.||The hotel itself couldn't find my reservation at first, I'd booked through a third party site. However they soon fixed it once they saw my confirmation. The room was a little old, with a jacuzzi bath in the main room, but all in all very clean and quite cool.||I would stay at the hotel again depending on price as it seems to vary considerably depending when you book it and what site you book through.

We stayed here almost 4 years ago and it was a bit of fun - the idea of sleeping in a football stadium. I remember being curious about what happens if there is a game on. Well we found out this time. Security is ramped up and you have to argue your way into the grounds and argue your way back out again. It's like they haven't really thought it through. Everything else shuts on the day of the of game - which is weird - the entire perimeter of the stadium is filled with bars and restaurants, but on game day they're all closed - that includes the bar attached to the hotel.||||It's less of a hotel and more a small reception with two extremely long corridors of rooms. No one is particularly excited that you're here giving them business - oh and no, the rooms don't look out onto the pitch. That would be cool. The rooms are all on one side of the corridor - and where there is a window looking into the stadium, the view is obscured by plastic film.. and curtains.||||The rooms are nice enough, well-appointed and with a good selection of toiletries. Starting to show their age a little, wall paper was coming off in the corner in our room - but overall, nice smart rooms. People smoke everywhere and even our supposed non-smoking room (and you have to ask for one) had a scent of old cigarrete smoke - and the ash tipped out onto the window cill was an indication of how people treat non-smoking rooms here. Excellent free wifi though.||||The toilets in reception were a discrace by the way - dirty, smelly and with broken locks. They should be embarrased.||||Overall this hotel is a little quirky and you might get a kick out of it if you're easy-going, but I would suggest picking a hotel closer to Sanlitun street, which is the highlight of the locality, with the best shops, bars and restaurants. For $100 a night, I expect a full hotel experience, not just a room. There is literally nothing else to this place.
