长白山柏悦酒店

The cold, forestry and artistic design of Park Hyatt always attracts me to explore more of their hotels, and Park Hyatt Changbaishan is a classic of it.||We booked a suite in the main building for a week. Decor and furnitures are a fusion of ancient Chinese and local manchu styles. There are even ancient Chinese books on shelves for guests to read.||The ‘Yue Ting’ restaurant on the first floor of the main building is a miracle! Been there everyday for dinner. We love Chinese Dongbei foods and it satisfied all our expectations. The Sandaolin fish caught locally is purely delicious. Blueberry Guobaorou (crispy fried pork slices) is also signature.||The hotel locates in the Wanda resort area so it’s pretty close to some entertainment options such as waterpark and local cultural activities. As a ski resort in winter one may think it’s ski-in ski-out chalet is the most competitive but I assure you summer is also a very good season to enjoy the mountain view and greenery of Changbaishan. Five out of five.|| Ps. They also have three Alaskan Malamutes (who are a family–father, mother, and daughter) for guests to social or play with. They were fed very well and looked so happy. Adorable!

Great location for a few days of skiing! Breakfast is very nice with various (western) options. We would recommend to put a roomservice menu & Spa menu in the room.The ski-house is very well organized, I could change from Skies to Snowboard easy. The outside hot bath is absolutely amazing after a full day of skiing.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Changbaishan in December 2020. The hotel is newish and has nice amenities. The hotel is ski in/out, at the very end of the resort. It’s still a nice set up and makes it easy to take a mid-day break from the mountain with easy locker access. The price included ski passes, breakfast and I think ski rental (we did not use the last item). We do not speak much Chinese and the staff tried very hard to accommodate us or find someone who could. We also had a massage and thought it was one of the best we’ve had in China. Breakfast was a large buffet with many custom stations that were good and covered both Chinese and Western food. We ate in the restaurant a number of times and had room service. The menu has solid basics and executed well, but did get a little tiresome after a few days. Some of the servers remembered what we ordered from the previous visit and were generally attentive.||||Despite this, I would put our experience as mixed. We paid more for a villa (which is very nice), but it sits a bit far from the main hotel which basically makes the pool unusable given the cold temperatures. We are actually closer to the Hyatt Regency building, I think. If you do splurge on a villa, it might be worth checking the number (we were in 5 and at the very furthest point to the ski in area) to get one in closer proximity to the main building or just be aware of the walk. We had a few glitches in service that honestly were probably mostly language related, but definitely impacted the experience. To improve overall, I think they need to pay more attention to the property. For example, our refrigerator didn’t work and even after fixing it, still hummed very loudly. We turned it off, yet it was not fixed during the duration of our 4 night stay (I would have thought the cleaners would have noticed how warm it became). Amenities were replenished and glasses washed sporadically. Not a huge deal, but a little disappointing at this price point.||||The overall rating is more of a 3.5 but I am being gracious given that it does seem to be the nicest resort in the immediate vicinity of the Wanda Resort. At these prices, I think they need to elevate the service to match the expense.

It was our first time going skiing in Changbaishan (we are a couple, no kids, living in Shanghai), and it was a great experience. It starts with the free shuttle bus taking you from Changbaishan airport to the Park Hyatt hotel. The driver was really helpful to make sure we get on the right bus to the right location. At the arrival at the hotel we learned that the room rate includes the ski pass for all days and the rental equipment. What a pleasant surprise. And the equipment rental is downstairs in the hotel. Super convenient. We got our skis and boots next morning. The quality of the equipment was fine. And there are lockers to keep your own shoes and stuff. Couldn't be more convenient. We only speak a little Chinese, but everything worked well. The hotel truly is ski-in/ski-out. The skiing resort is small (in December some pistes were still in preparation), but we enjoyed 4 days skiing (basically skiing half day and enjoying massage and pool the rest of the day). There are plenty of slopes for beginners, but also nice blue and black pistes. We are intermediate skiers and were happy with the snow and the slopes. The hotel also has a Spa, a pool, and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Access to the Water World in town (walking distance) was also included in the room rate. The room was big and nice and had a view on the lift and slopes. Dinner in the restaurant called "Living Room" offers Chinese food and Western food. Service and food were excellent. The breakfast was great. The staff really wants you to be happy and goes above and beyond to serve you. It was a very pleasant experience. The village has some shops and Chinese restaurants, but we mainly had dinner in the Park Regency, Park Hyatt and the other hotels around (e.g. Korean BBQ). I can fully recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Changbaishan!

这是我们第一次去长白山滑雪（我们是一对夫妇，没有孩子，住在上海），这是一次很棒的经历。首先乘坐免费班车从长白山机场前往柏悦酒店。司机非常乐于助人，确保我们乘坐正确的巴士前往正确的地点。抵达酒店后，我们得知房价包括全天的滑雪通行证和租赁设备。真是一个惊喜。而且设备租赁就在酒店楼下。超级方便。第二天早上我们拿到了滑雪板和靴子。设备质量很好。还有储物柜可以存放您自己的鞋子和物品。再方便不过了。我们只会说一点中文，但一切都很顺利。这家酒店确实可以滑雪进出。滑雪场很小（12月一些滑雪道还在准备中），但是我们享受了4天的滑雪（基本上是滑雪半天，剩下的时间享受按摩和泳池）。这里有很多适合初学者的滑雪道，但也有漂亮的蓝色和黑色滑雪道。我们是中级滑雪者，对雪和斜坡感到满意。酒店还设有水疗中心、游泳池和室外按摩浴缸。 房价还包含进入镇上水世界（步行距离）的费用。房间又大又漂亮，可以看到电梯和斜坡的景色。晚餐在“Living Room”餐厅提供中餐和西餐。服务和食物都很棒。早餐很棒。工作人员真诚地希望您感到高兴，并竭尽全力为您服务。这是一次非常愉快的经历。村里有一些商店和中餐馆，但我们主要在丽晶酒店、柏悦酒店和周围其他酒店吃晚餐（例如韩国烧烤）。我完全可以向所有到长白山旅游的人推荐这家酒店！

hotel with ski in / ski out facility. it is very close to ski resort and now they have connected the slope with beginner slope too, which makes it a lot easier to access the ski house. compared to Hyatt, much less people were there and the renting experience was much efficient. breakfast is mostly chinese but they have bacons and eggs on your options too. staffs are very kind. room is more spacious than regency. we loved our stay.

Just stayed here over the very busy Chinese New Year holiday period. We stayed in a suite in villa 6. Cash rates include skiing, points rates do not. ||Our goal was to teach my family how to ski and this was the perfect hotel for this goal. We paid for private lessons: Beginner coach 550 rmb, ~1050 for mid, ~1400 rmb for advanced. We booked mid and high for our first 2 days, and they were good.||​​​​The ski slopes themselves are good but nothing special. My first impression was it was like a hill more than a mountain. This is no Vail, Aspen, Whistler or Niseko. Still, it was a fun experience overall and good for beginners. Even during high season, the lines up the cable cars were never very long (2 minutes). It got crowded at times on the slopes but generally people were respectful. ||As for the Park Hyatt...The suites are nice and spacious. They probably will need a renovation in 3 years, but I was happy with the size and quality of the room. ||Le Labo Bergamote toiletries, Nongfu water not the 5100 I've seen in other PHs, Nespresso machine. ||My only slight problem was that we were in villa 6 which is separate from the main building so it was real cold and a little inconvenient to walk to the main building for the gym or pool. I'm not sure if there are suites in the main building. I did enjoy the outdoor hot tub which was nice experience being surrounded by snow while dunking outside. ||The gym was adequate. Nothing great, nothing bad w 22 KGs dumbells at heaviest and some machines.|​​​​​|Breakfast was ok but subpar for a PH. ||Dinner has fabulous Chinese food and is not too pricey. It was actually surprisingly cheap for Chinese food. Because the PH is higher up the mountain and thus a long walk, we didn't come back for lunch and ate at KFC.||There is ski In and ski out but only from one beginner path and not at night. This makes the PHs location inconvenient relative to Hyatt Regency whose ski house is right at the base of the mountain. Walking up the hill with skis at night to return everything was unpleasant with a kid. ||There's virtually nothing to do in the town. We basically skiied and ate bigger meals in the PH. They didn't recommend we go to Tianchi as far away and cold. They said to try in September.||Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. If you are a serious skiier, you'll probably be disappointed but is perfect for beginners. ||We had a few service issues that shouldn't have happened but they were quickly resolved by the GM and front desk manager. Their service was excellent and I'm thankful to them. ||The hotel is quite nice but nothing over the top special. I'm a loyal PH type of person, so I'll stay here again but if cash prices were really cheap at HR compared to PH (say 60% cheaper), I might go there.||But I expect to come here once or twice a year to ski. Two thumbs up

A great experience to start with Park Hyatt Changbaishan prior to winter season.The room was delicates and They keep replenishing water and keep you hydrated.Many thanks for Charles who communicated and arrange shuttle, share tips here for us before the journey, due to language barrier, we were really concerned about it, the check in service of Linda was very considered. She provided us the activity package and we have been enjoy it for those day. Winni was kind enough to meet our needs. But the facilities was old so it needs lots of maintenance works on it.Last but not the least. Thank you all for the hospitality service and make our journey feel like home

I came to changbaishan for skiing every winter and always stayed at Hyatt ||Regency. It was my first time staying at PH, honestly i was very excited before coming. It is a quiet hotel with less kids which is great for young couple. I was assigned to Villa instead of main building, you have to walk to main building for breakfast, spa and everything. The room is super dark and super hot, the lighting system is extremely strange and the master control is not for all the light. After staying here for 3 nights, I have no idea why the light is not stable at all. The breakfast was sucks, the best part was the juice station. Overall it was lack of choice, and food quality was bad. BTW, there is nobody in this hotel call you by your last name which is not a luxury standard. Special thanks to a chef (I don’t know his name) offered me crispy bacon during breakfast.

每年冬天来长白山滑雪，总是住凯悦||丽景酒店。这是我第一次入住PH，说实话，来之前我非常兴奋。这是一家安静的酒店，孩子较少，非常适合年轻夫妇。我被分配到别墅而不是主楼，你必须步行到主楼吃早餐、水疗和一切。房间超级暗、超级热，照明系统极其奇怪，主控也不是所有的灯。在这里住了3个晚上，我不知道为什么光线根本不稳定。早餐很糟糕，最好的部分是果汁站。总的来说，缺乏选择，食物质量也很差。顺便说一句，这家酒店没有人叫你的姓氏，这不是豪华标准。特别感谢一位厨师（我不知道他的名字）在早餐时为我提供了脆皮培根。
