黄山望峰楼

I spent two nights at the accommodation and the surrounding area together with some friends. We did not look up any activity or routes before arrival. But the family that runs the hotel were incredibly helpful and took a lot of time and consideration to plan an itinerary for us wich we really enjoyed. The owner even picked us up from the train station. We were always provided with tea and snacks and noodles that were out of this world! This kind of hospitality is unmatched. The rooms are clean and offer all the amenities you could wish for. I can only recommend this place!

我和一些朋友一起在住宿和周边地区度过了两个晚上。我们在抵达之前没有查找任何活动或路线。但是经营这家酒店的家庭非常乐于助人，花了很多时间和考虑为我们计划了一个我们非常喜欢的行程。老板还来火车站接我们。我们总是得到世界上绝无仅有的茶、小吃和面条！这种热情好客是无与伦比的。房间很干净，并提供您想要的所有设施。我只能推荐这个地方！

Good location, about 10-15min walk from South Gate. Very small village, nearby several food places and food stores. A bit difficult to find (don’t know chinese), entrance is inside a small food store. Staff is very friendly and helpful, room was clean, but old. Quiet place for a rest and good sleep. Nothing to complain.

Positive: The owner of the hotel was really friendly and hospitable. He patiently planed our hiking tour with us and showed us some good spots. By using a translation app the communication was easy. The location of the hotel is perfect. You have to walk only 5-10 min to get to the bus which brings you to the cable cars. Besides the owner can manage you a car pool to get to the train station..

Nice place near the south gate of Yellow Mountain. Great value for money. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Came with suggestions and helped us plan the trip in detail. Will definitely book this place again if I return to the city

Positive: The boss is so helpful on every of our requests. Helping us with the itinerary and making all the necessary booking of the local tours etc. The boss allows us to make our own meals to share with them as the fresh market is just opposite the hotel. Will come back to stay with them soon.. Negative: Nothing as I know that they are renovating the whole hotel just after we left..

This nice cozy place was exactly the right choice. The family who runs the hotel is exceptional friendly and willing to help. The room was nice, bed, shower and wifi great. Would come here before and after Huangshan definitely again. They also store the luggage and help you to arrange onward transportation. The son speaks a bit English and with app support it was no problem. It’s located very central in Tangkou, next to the river. We would stay again in Tangkou due to it’s proximity to the entrance and convenient transportation. Besides that it didn’t feel very touristic. We were very happy. Highly recommended, xiexie!

Positive: Please book this hotel. The location is amazing. It's about 10 minutes walk from where you catch the bus to the mountain and the street itself is full of useful and interesting shops. The view of the mountain and the the surrounding hillsides is beautiful. What makes a stay at this hotel however, is the owner. He picked us up from the station late at night and looked after us every step of the way for the whole trip, making all the arrangements we needed for a very, very reasonable price. His patience and understanding is endless, since his English is limited and our Chinese almost non- existent and yet he was willing and happy to answer my millions of questions. He even messaged us to check we'd got down from the mountain safely! Most people I know do Yellow Mountain as a group trip. We decided to do it ourselves and we honestly couldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay at to do this this. Thank for looking after us 🙏🏻. Negative: Nothing to say here. Everything was lovely.

Perfect location to climb the mountain. The place itself is ok. The owner is super nice, even changed my room not to face to the loud river and gave me detailed information on the hiking route.

爬山的绝佳位置。这个地方本身还可以。老板人超级好，甚至给我换了房间，不面向喧闹的河流，还给了我详细的徒步路线信息。
