淄博饭店

This hotel is old and dirty. Nobody speaks a word of English and use phone to translate. There is a potent smell throughout the hotel equivalent to dead rats type of smell. This is everywhere. Sleeping was difficult and I vomited several times. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Everybody smokes everywhere as well which turns your stomach along with the rat smell. It's either that or drains. I contemplated changing hotel but it was too expensive at short notice. I would not recommend this to anybody. Steer clear!

这家酒店又旧又脏。没有人会说英语并使用电话翻译。整个酒店都有一股浓烈的气味，相当于死老鼠的味道。这无处不在。睡觉很困难，我呕吐了好几次。我迫不及待地想离开那里。每个人都到处抽烟，这让你的胃和老鼠的气味一起恶心。要么就是这样，要么就是下水道。我考虑过换酒店，但临时通知价格太贵了。我不会向任何人推荐这个。避开！

My Wife and I, booked a weekend at the Zibo Hotel, this in good faith, as we enjoy visiting the restaurant often.We were advised by some locals that the Zibo Hotel is an aged hotel. Nevertheless, we wanted to experience it for ourselves.Check in went well, and the front desk staff were professional and courteous.The initial impact of the Hotel, when entering is that of an "old" Hotel, yet, classic and timeless."Old", is however not an issue in my opinion. Poor maintenance and standards however, are...Upon entering the room, there was an evident pungent odour, initially, I thought it to be that of cigarette smoke. I later came to the conclusion, that it's most probably due to the rising damp, which was all over the room, as well as in certain corridors.The "suite" which we stayed in, had a huge bathtub and a sizeable shower as well.When running a bath, it was evident that the water temperature was perfect, with instant hot water, and good water pressure. Regretfully, the water was brown, most probably due to the pipes being aged. The bed was as hard as a rock, and in my opinion not on international standard.The lace curtains are terribly worn, and are not a good sight at all.Wallpaper on all the walls are either peeling off, or has evident water damage on it.The ceilings, especially in the bathroom, have severe water damage.I have never given a bad / poor rating to a Hotel, and derive no pleasure in doing such.However, I have to be honest, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, foreign or domestic visitors.If you can look past the water damage, the aged appearance and tolerate the odour, then you are free to try the Zibo Hotel for yourself.I however, can, and will not accept such. As in my opinion, a Hotel should make you feel relaxed and should have a sense of beauty to it.Especially as this is the town's local Hotel, I honestly expected better.I am really dissapointed, not so much about the fact that the Hotel has aged as badly as it did, but because it was not rectified.I could not stay there for my entire booking, and requested a refund for the 2nd day booked, as we checked out after our 1st day spent.My honest recommendation to prospective guests would be to rather consider another of the neighbouring hotels. The reception did apologize, when I stated that I plan to check out earlier, primarily, due to the uncomfortable rock hard bed. Regretfully, they did not make any effort to retain our business, no alternative was offered or presented to us.Nevertheless, we walked across the road, and checked into another Hotel, our favorite as a matter of fact.It is also noteworthy, that this hotel is also a bit on the "older" side, but unlike the Zibo Hotel, it's exceptionally well kept, fragrant and always a pleasure to visit.At least until such time as the Zibo Hotel has revamped the entire hotel.

我和我的妻子在淄博宾馆预订了一个周末，这是真诚的，因为我们喜欢经常去这家餐厅。一些当地人告诉我们，淄博宾馆是一家老酒店。不过，我们还是想亲自体验一下。入住很顺利，前台工作人员也很专业，彬彬有礼。一进酒店给人的第一感觉就是“老”酒店的感觉，但又经典又永恒。 “旧”，但在我看来这不是问题。然而，维护和标准都很差……进入房间后，有明显的刺鼻气味，最初，我以为是香烟烟雾的气味。后来我得出的结论是，这很可能是由于整个房间以及某些走廊的湿气上升所致。我们住的“套房”有一个巨大的浴缸和一个很大的淋浴间洗澡的时候发现水温很合适，热水很快，水压也不错。遗憾的是，水呈棕色，很可能是由于管道老化所致。床像石头一样硬，在我看来不符合国际标准。蕾丝窗帘磨损得很厉害，根本不好看。所有墙上的壁纸要么剥落，要么有明显的水渍。天花板，尤其是浴室的天花板，有严重的水渍。我从来没有给过一家酒店差/差的评价，也没有这样做的乐趣。但是，我必须说实话，我不会推荐这家酒店对任何人，无论是外国游客还是国内游客。如果您能看清水渍、老化的外观并容忍气味，那么您可以自由地亲自尝试一下淄博宾馆。但是，我可以，也不会接受这样的事情。在我看来，酒店应该让你感到放松，应该有一种美感。特别是因为这是镇上当地的酒店，老实说我期望更好。我真的很失望，并不是因为酒店已经像以前一样严重老化了，但因为它没有得到纠正。我无法在整个预订中都住在那里，并要求预订第二天的退款，因为我们在第一天入住后就退房了。我对潜在客户的诚实推荐客人宁愿考虑附近的另一家酒店。当我说我计划提前退房时，接待处确实道歉了，主要是因为床很硬，不舒服。遗憾的是，他们没有做出任何努力来保留我们的业务，没有向我们提供任何替代方案。尽管如此，我们还是穿过马路，入住了另一家酒店，事实上，我们最喜欢的酒店。还值得注意的是，这家酒店也有点“旧”，但与淄博宾馆不同的是，它保存得非常好，芳香四溢，参观起来总是很愉快。至少在淄博宾馆对整个酒店进行改造之前是这样。

Stayed here for 3 nights in late July during my Shandong travels.||||This hotel was a good hotel, for anyone associated with American hotels - it is above a Comfort Inn, but below a good Holiday Inn.||||Some of the staff spoke limited English others spoke descent English. Thankfully in China I always have someone from there with me to do most of the talking.||||The room had a very wide bed, two people can fit comfortably with room to spare. The TV only had maybe 2 English channels, but I wasn't in the room for long stretches, so that didn't matter much. The room was relatively clean with a clean and nice sized bathroom and descent shower.||||Breakfast was included with the room cost and one of our days there they gave us a ticket for the VIP breakfast room. The normal breakfast was in a quite large dining room with a buffet style serving filled mostly with Chinese style breakfast foods - various types of dumplings, some type of French toast, rice, eggs, vegetables, tiny pastries, juice and more. Outside of the complimentary breakfast we didn't eat at the hotel. The hotel rooms have free internet access which was great, no Wi-Fi, but I didn't care about that.||||This was a confusing hotel, because the lobby area and other parts were 4-star looking and very fancy looking, but the hotel room was more 3 to 3.5 star. The hotel gave us tickets to use the pool, but we never had time to even go for a look. The hotel is located on a busy street with a lot of shops and nearby restaurants, but again - we didn't have time to explore these. Our hotel room had a view of an empty lot next door and the pollution was rather bad, so you really couldn't see too far into the distance.||||My only Cons are: the room carpet was a little dirty (not a big deal) and the floor lamp in our room was taped together in the middle to hold the top and bottom parts together (a minor detail). Other than those, I had no problems with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

After reading the other English review from 2009, I can see that this property has gotten much worse. I'm not sure where to start other than the floor lamps are still taped in the middle to hold them together. ||The lobby looks like a typical Chinese 4 star rated hotel. There are two main entries into the lobby. Our taxi driver selected the wrong one. Like the other reviewer said, it is a confusing layout. Check-in was slow, as one expects in China. There were 4 of us, and they hand wrote the registration cards while we waited. Everything from the elevator, to the door of the room feels quite dated and rundown. Upon entering the room, the smell told the story. The room had a odor of dampness. I was not surprised to see mold in the bathtub area. ||Furnishings were typical local brand hotel type for China, with a built-in control panel next to the bed. I was happy to find easy access to outlets in the room. ||Speaking of the bed - my box-spring at home has more padding. While I am used to local Chinese beds, this has to be one of the worst I have had. Many things in the room are broken, damaged, or just not cared for. For example, the toilet paper holder was broken so they put a roll of toilet paper on the back of the toilet. Apparently, at one time there was a table or something next to the bed. Now there is just a hole in the wall/headboard. Check out the photos, they will help you understand just how poor conditions are in this "4 star" hotel. One thing that is hard to see from the photos is how poor the lighting is, especially in the bathroom.||On the positive side, the air conditioning in my room works better than in most local branded hotels. ||My recommendation is to find somewhere else to stay in Zibo. I know there are other choices.

服务态度很好的，人员素质也很好，说话很礼貌的，房间是比较干净的，设备很齐，电视，上网，空调都是有的，就不是太新。房间通风很好，隔音还可以。房费有送早餐，就是油条，豆浆，牛奶什么的。地理位置算不错的，就是在市中心，坐车不到5分钟就有商场，吃饭什么的。

确实是性价比很高的酒店，价格很便宜，就是房间有些老旧了，尤其是卫生间比较老旧了，整体外观不错的，在当地是很有名的，设施都是以前的，虽然有做过装修但是总体还不是很优秀，里面没有电脑，电视还是有点旧的台式的，床单被套还有卫生间的生活用品，说实话感觉就像有的酒店里很清新、很干净的就像家里的一样，它是达不到，但是它的性价比还是不错的，位置是非常不错的。
