Spacious Rooms but little old property with good in-house Japanese & Chinese Restaurant. ||The hotel is little old, however rooms are spacious with comfortable sleep. The best part of hotel was I visited during extreme cold 🥶 weather and inside room and hotel you even didn’t require any jacket !!! It’s really amazing. ||It can be a little challenging for international travelers as front desk staff have not very comfortable with English.||If visiting Taiyuan for work and also want to enjoy some night out and shopping better chose hotel near Wall Clock Street. Otherwise it’s can be a comfortable stay aswell.

房间宽敞，但酒店很小，很旧，有很好的内部日式和中式餐厅。 ||酒店有点旧，但房间宽敞，睡眠舒适。酒店最好的部分是我在极度寒冷的天气里参观的，在房间和酒店内，你甚至不需要任何夹克！真是太神奇了。 ||这对于国际旅客来说可能有点挑战，因为前台工作人员不太会说英语。||如果来太原出差，也想享受一些夜晚和购物，最好选择靠近钟楼街的酒店。否则，这也会是一次舒适的住宿。

Excellent front desk, very helpful even in english. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The facilities are up to the standard of a chinese 5 star hotel. Pleasant stay.

The hotel room was very nice but the carpet was not vacuumed before I checked in. The cleaning staff took a very long time to clean the rooms. ||||Breakfast buffet had excellent selection. The staff as extremely slow to get coffee and/or refills. ||||Hotel restaurants were overpriced. Would recommend getting the Shanxi noodles from room service were very tasty and very reasonably priced. The ordering was difficult if you did not speak Mandarin. ||||Not much near the hotel. ||||The elevator attendants were the highlight. They always greeted you with a large smile. Wanted to try their English with me and were very kind to my son. ||||If you want to use the pool, be sure to bring a swim cap. Required and cost $15 if you want to buy.

This hotel is well set up for the business traveler and is the first time I found a room with its own WiFi router assuring excellent internet service 24/7. Most of the staff spoke excellent English including those on the service staff. ||||The room had no hint of smoke and everything in the room has in order except for the shower which leaked at the base. A repair man re-caulked but failed then to retest to see if the job was effective, it wasn’t. || ||Breakfast was good and offered the typical wide variety of food of both Chinese and western pallets. The hotel has two towers with a shopping area in-between. The spa only consisted of foot massages which also include back and shoulder massage. I for one like the foot massage part, but the rest of a massage on the shoulders, means to get squeezed and pounded, not stretched and pressured firmly. ||||We had a very nice stay at this hotel and is on a par with most western hotels. Especially appreciated was the amount of English spoken and the Wi Fi router in the room. As its name suggests the hotel is set up for foreigners.

国贸大饭店是太原非常好的一家五星级酒店，位置不错，装修华丽，前台在五楼，酒店有wifi，很方便。早餐品种不少，味道可以。缺点是稍微有点老了，枕头稍微硬了点，没有选择。不过，这个酒店很值得推荐的。

More or less typical maintenance problems. Bad water quality in the pool, because of Chinese misbehaviour like spitting. Fungus in the bath and showers, overall not that bad, for China, but for an expensive 5 star hotel a shame. Internet quality very unstable, down to unacceptable. Staff with no or bad English, but very motivated and helpful. Breakfast good. Restaurants much to expensive with very bad price/worth relation.

或多或少是典型的维护问题。由于中国人随地吐痰等不良行为，泳池水质很差。 浴缸和淋浴间里有真菌，总体来说还不错，对于中国来说，但是对于昂贵的五星级酒店来说就太可惜了。 网络质量非常不稳定，下降到无法接受的程度。 工作人员不会英语或英语很差，但非常积极主动，乐于助人。 早餐不错。 餐厅非常昂贵，价格/价值关系非常差。

We stayed at this hotel while we were visiting friends and a trip to wu tai mountain. I booked an apartment for 4 adults only to find a very spacious apartment and one bed. After arguing with the bell boy the manager finally turned up. Anther half hour of complaining just asking for a fold down bed they finally give us a bigger apartment - ironically with 3 bedrooms.||The apartment was actually very nice with kitchen but no pans, knives, forks or anything really. ||Thr staff wee quite arrogant service not what you expect but over all othe hotel was ok. Wouldn't go there and though.||

We arrived into Taiyuan late and stayed here en-route to Pingyao. It served its purpose as somewhere to sleep and eat. It may have been 5 stars when it was built but isn't anymore. Parts of the building have fallen away and haven't been repaired. A non-smoking room means no smoking in the room (presumably ignored by many), but you can smoke outside in the hallway. Our room was spacious, and had a decent view of Taiyuan. Service was very good, and almost all staff we encountered spoke English.

我们到达太原的时间很晚，在去平遥的途中住在这里。它的目的是作为睡觉和吃饭的地方。它建成时可能是 5 星，但现在不是了。建筑物的部分部分已倒塌，尚未修复。无烟房意味着房间内禁止吸烟（想必很多人都忽略了），但您可以在外面的走廊上吸烟。我们的房间很宽敞，可以看到太原的美景。服务非常好，我们遇到的几乎所有工作人员都会说英语。
