As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the friendly staff checked me in quickly, politely, and efficiently. Before I could get the elevator, they were already at it with a smile and few polite English words. The temperature in my room was very different from the city I just flew in from, but adjusting the temperature was not a problem, so I slept comfortably. I had everything I needed, The location is perfect! I walked to the US consulate for about five minutes East, as it is just on the next block. There are coffee shops, fruit stands, convenience stores, plenty of restaurants, fast food, and bakeries in the area. The hotel can also be reached on foot by going West from exit B of Zhujiang New Town metro stop, right smack dab in the financial district. I did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast because I was out and about before the cafeteria even opened. I requested for a wake-up call at 2:30 AM, and they were right on time in calling my number and knocking on the door. I also requested for a double-check with security with the taxi that I was going to take to the airport, and the staff verified the phone number and face of the cab and cabbie. That was excellent service that made me feel safe, which is going the extra mile for them. Thank you, and see you again soon for my next trips to Guangzhou!
