Notting Hill Youth Hostel

The hostel is located conveniently with many shops nearby. They have a large common room that’s equipped with hot water, a pool table and several spaces to sit and work or eat. They also sell soft drinks. The dorms are fine. The beds are comfortable and large enough for a tall european. They don’t have curtains but that wasn’t much of a problem as most people just went there to sleep. There was no noise and everyone was very nice. The staff are helpful if you ask. My only caveat is the bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, it has everything one needs and is clean. It’s just not the most luxurious thing. If you are a solo traveler or backpacker who mainly wants a base and a place to sleep this is a great place. If you are looking for something where you would spend the day and have some quality self-time I would recommend to go for something more expensive. With that being said, everything is reasonably good, works and the price is good as well. So for a backpacker like myself I would recommend this place and I’d also stay again myself. Нормальный отель для своей цены. Обжитой район, куча едален на любой вкус, до метро 15 минут пешком. Сервис хорош тем, что его нет. Приехал, получил ключ, заселился в чистый номер с качественным и чистым постельным бельем. В общей зоне есть микроволновка и холодильник есть холодильник с напитками и перекусами платными. В номере чайник. Кондиционеры работают нормально, справляются в самую летнюю жару. Вода горячая и холодная с нормальным напором. Живут тут в основном китайские студенты, постоянно сидят за ноутбуками.

就其价格而言，是正常的酒店。热闹的地区，各种口味的食物充足，步行 15 分钟即可到达地铁站。服务的好处是它不存在。 我到达后，收到了钥匙，入住了一间干净的房间，房间里有优质干净的床单。公共区域设有微波炉和冰箱，提供收费的饮料和小吃。房间里有烧水壶。空调运转良好，可以应对夏季的炎热。水有冷有热，压力正常。大多数中国学生住在这里，经常坐在笔记本电脑前。

Also known as Notting Hill Hostel. This is basically a backpackers hostel. My room did not have a tv but I notice some do (no big problem for me). Pool tables and tv in the common area on 4th floor, plus a kitchen and laundry, so it has everything a backpacker needs, at a decent price. No fridge in the room, which might be an issue in summer time. |Room was shabby but equipped with an electric kettle, hairdryer and toiletries, insect repellent, and had its own bathroom.||Pro's: good price, staff are generally quite helpful and one of them speaks enough English to communicate easily with. Convenient to some really nice little noodle houses, 24 hour convenience stores, shopping plaza, metro and bars. ||Con's: 5 flights of stairs to get to the room. Loud out-of-town Chinese guests slamming their door so hard that my window was shaking. Noisy neighbourhood in general. Hard to get a decent night's rest. The mattress was rock hard, but you get that everywhere in China. Drinking water not supplied but available at reception for only 2 RMB per bottle. Hot water takes a few minutes to heat up and wifi often very slow due to high traffic on the network.||I put this one in the "you get what you pay for" class but due to the poor quality of sleep I had there I can't give it more than a 2/5. Not bad but not good either. |I was in Shenzhen visiting a few buddies so I was just using the place to sleep, and sleep was a bit hard to come by. I don't think I could have lasted another night.||Not one I'll return to personally, but I can see it's appeal to the younger traveller on a budget.

personas amables, limpio, cambian las sabanas de la cama todos los dias y cerca de la estación de metro y el aeropuerto. Nice people, clean, change bed sheets every day and close to the metro station and the airport.
