Zobon Art Hotel Zhuhai

My room was 516 and I pad for an ocean view but it's only a partial ocean view. The room is ok and the full wall mirror adds to the size perception. However the toilet is the size of an airplane toilet stall and the shower stall is small as well. The shower itself is a hand held version and is awkward. The hot water taps turn on backwards to the cold water taps and I find them difficult to use. Also the air conditioning is difficult to operate and no way to control the temperature as well as all the light switches which are on the side on the night table. My rating is 3.4 stars. On the plus side there is a Starbucks downstairs as well as a Chinese restaurant and on the 12th floor a Western restaurant with nice views of the ocean and small airport just on the other side of the street. The buffet breakfast is not free and is on the 12 floor with lots of options but I found the food was bland. They had toast and an egg station but the bacon was under cooked and greasy. There is no shopping or restaurants around this immediate area but the beach is about one mile from the hotel and there is a large swimming pool at the beach. The staff don't know any English but Nikkie a manager helped me with many of my needs.

我的房间是516，我订的是海景房，但那只是部分海景。房间还可以，全墙镜子增加了尺寸感。然而，厕所的大小与飞机厕所隔间一样大，淋浴间也很小。淋浴本身是手持式的，很尴尬。热水龙头与冷水龙头方向相反，我发现它们很难使用。此外，空调很难操作，无法控制温度以及床头柜侧面的所有灯开关。 我的评分是 3.4 星。好的一面是，楼下有一家星巴克，还有一家中餐厅，12 楼有一家西餐厅，可以看到美丽的海景，街对面就是小机场。自助早餐不是免费的，位于 12 楼，有很多选择，但我发现食物很乏味。他们有烤面包和鸡蛋站，但培根未煮熟且油腻。该地区周围没有购物场所或餐馆，但海滩距离酒店约一英里，海滩上有一个大型游泳池。工作人员不懂英语，但经理 Nikkie 帮助我满足了我的许多需求。

Stayed 4 nights at this place. Location wise is about 5 mins walk to small shops n 7 mins to other restaurants. It's just opposite the sea n coast line. 7 mins walk will bring you to the beach. It has a Starbucks place inside the lobby which is good if you like coffee. The hotel restaurant is not bad with reasonable price. It's different from the breakfast place at 12th floor. |Breakfast has many variety but basically the same for everyday. It could get crowded around 8 am and you may have to wait long time for your order from the egg station. |Swimming pool is big enough for laps but you need to have a cap over your hair in order to swim inside. If not the life guard won't let you in the pool. |Room is just good enough size although the toilet n bath room are very small n compact. All the lights switch n aircon are controlled by the console beside the bed. It's rather tricky to adjust the aircon temperature. |Everywhere you go you will see all the abstract art paintings which you can buy from them. The lobby ceilings is basically being painted with abstract art.

The hotel seems to be ok for the first sight, room looks ok too, bed is comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the walls are not thick enough therefore if you have a neighbour you can hear every word they talk. Besides there was a kind of service room where the hotel staff was staying, smoking of course, despite of the fact I got a non-smoking room due to this reason the room had the smell of cigarette.... Breakfast is more local but there is a Starbucks which is an advantage. The hotel staff does not speak english well.

酒店第一眼看上去还不错，房间看起来也不错，床很舒服，很干净。不幸的是，墙壁不够厚，因此如果你有邻居，你可以听到他们所说的每一个字。此外，还有一种服务房，酒店工作人员住在那里，当然可以吸烟，尽管事实上我住的是无烟房，因为这个原因，房间里有烟味。有星巴克这是一个优势。酒店工作人员英语说得不好。

Stayed for a week in mid October and found the hotel to be quite nice. Pros include:|Large rooms with a large window offering nice views.|reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. |Nice shower with instant hot water. |Strong and consistent free WiFi (but have a VPN ready). |Decent breakfast selection. |Downstairs Starbucks. ||Cons:|Restaurant upstairs has pretty lacklustre dinner, lots of options but poorly executed. |Conversing with staff can be difficult, English is quite poor. |Lack of tea and coffee options in the room. ||Overall it's decent but there's room for improvement, especially with the quality of produce at the restaurant. |

This is a hotel full of artistic sense. As it is at the downstairs of my home, I often take a five-minute walk to the hotel on the weeken. On the first floor of the hotel holds a Starbucks where have a better atmosphere than other Starbucks. The costomers there are usually less then others because it close to the beach and is not located in the center of the city, so it is more open and quiet. I have several old friends, who often meet in this Starbucks together to write homework and chat. Later, we rarely seeing each other for they have gone abroad for study leaving me alone in this city. Thus here have become a place full of our memories, which attracts me to come here to sit alone for a while oftenly.

这是一家充满艺术感的酒店。由于酒店就在我家楼下，所以周末我经常步行五分钟到酒店。酒店一楼有一家星巴克，气氛比其他星巴克好。那里的顾客通常比其他地方少，因为它靠近海滩，而且不位于市中心，所以更加开放和安静。我有几个老朋友，他们经常在这家星巴克见面写作业、聊天。后来我们很少见面了，因为他们都出国留学了，只剩下我一个人在这个城市。于是这里就成了一个充满我们回忆的地方，吸引着我常常来这里独坐一会儿。

I stayed there for 2 nights due to a business trip. Location is ok, ftaff friendly and rooms are really large with a nice shower and ameneties in the bathroom. The highlight for me was the large indoor pool as well as the gym with a lot of cardio equipment. The reekfast was good and the bar also recommandable.

由于出差，我在那里住了两晚。位置还可以，工作人员很友好，房间很大，浴室里有很棒的淋浴和便利设施。对我来说最大的亮点是大型室内游泳池以及配备大量有氧运动器材的健身房。 reekfast 很好，酒吧也值得推荐。

Stayed here on business for a week. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a gym and pool that is opened until 22:30 which is excellent. Nice to unwind there after a long day.||||Room service is provided but language is a big issue here. Very little english is spoken or understood here so if you call room service they might send up someone from the front desk to take your order because they don't understand it over the phone.

各个方面完全没有五星级的标准，毫不谦虚地说，酒店前台甚至电梯还不如汉庭的高档，早餐烂的不行，房间小，卫生间设计十分不方便，电视很小，而且声音一大杂音比本音都响！！！退房时说可以走了，结果二十分钟后没任何通知就把预授权多扣了20，说是喝了付费的水，就算喝了也得通知一下再扣款吧，何况特别注意没喝那么坑的水！国内的五星级就被这样的酒店搞臭了？
