高州大酒店

房间空间比较宽敞，设施不是很陈旧，对这家的整体印象一般，当时住的是标准间，一晚上是二百多，以他的质量最多是一百多。地理位置比较好，交通比较方便，吃饭购物的地方都有，酒店应该没有早餐，装修还是比较豪华的。服务的速度还是挺快的，但是态度不是很好。里面有卡拉OK。上网是免费的，网速还行。

Recently stayed with my wife in the Gaozhou Hotel. We are regular guests here, with two or three times a year visits to the city. We make good use of the dining facilities, with both the second and third floor restaurants utilised.||The free Wifi is easy to connect with, and use, but typically slow. Rooms are spacious enough and well equipped with tea making facilities, and a fridge. There's a handy supermarket next door, and plenty of parking.

最近和我的妻子住在高州宾馆。我们是这里的常客，每年都会来这座城市两到三次。我们充分利用了餐饮设施，二楼和三楼的餐厅都得到了利用。||免费 Wifi 很容易连接和使用，但速度通常很慢。房间足够宽敞，设施齐全，配有沏茶设施和冰箱。隔壁有一家便利的超市，还有充足的停车位。

If you are a foreigner visiting Gaozhou, this hotel is probably your best bet. Another option is ||a new five star hotel that has just recently opened, but I haven't stayed at this new hotel and its also located on the outskirts of Gaozhou and requires a car ride to get into Gaozhou city proper.||||The best thing going for the Gaozhou hotel is its location and price (less than 300 RMB per night). Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Internet also worked well (ethernet cable only - no wifi). We (wife and I) stayed in a business room which was quite large and had a desk and supplied computer (though I bring my own laptop). Large bathroom which was clean enough. They supplied shampoo but not conditioner which was odd. On my most recent stay we were put on one of the highest floors which had good views over Gaozhou. ||||There is a supermarket next door if you need food, water, clothing, snacks or beer. There is also a karaoke venue in the building, which provides one of the better karaoke services I've experienced in China. ||||Downsides of this hotel include hard beds (like in many Chinese hotels) and that the rooms smell of smoke (like in many Chinese hotels). No complementary drinking water - 2RMB for each little 300ml bottle, so visit the supermarket next door to get a big bottle of water. Bar fridge was tiny, and there was no beer in it (another trip to the supermarket). I could only fit a big bottle of beer in it by lying it on its side. Not many of the staff or locals speak any English at all, so if you don't speak Chinese I'd recommend travelling with a translator. Cantonese is the local language.

在茂名地区四星级以上的酒店很少,而这间酒店作为高州第一间四星级酒店,在服务、卫生方面我认为都有超四星级要求，服务人员很热情，态度很好。环境也相当的不错，周围交通很方便，购物吃饭也就在附近，

高州大酒店是四星酒店，但房费才不到200。房间挺大，也很干净。有些房间临街会有些吵。中餐厅不错。位置在老城区，城区不大，去哪里都挺方便。

在茂名市区了，那个地段算是比较好吧。周边停车的话有一个很大的停车场，原来是当地最大的酒店，现在不是了。装潢算是比较旧了，只是说那里的人气旺一些，那里的大堂一般般。空间的话大概没有二十平。退房没有催，下午到三点才走的。

旧，而且卫生一般，不怎么干净，就是日用品牙刷呀，还有被子都有味道。装修比较旧啦，因为它开了好多年啦，整体看上去很旧。隔音效果还好，因为它也不算很路边的。其实房间大小还好，就是觉得卫生不是很好，反正一住过，就不可能再去啦。而且服务一般，不会说很热情，或者很贴心，反正是按手续去做事情。况且这个位置算是郊边的，不过交通还好。

在当地应该算比较好的了，它的名气还有外面的建筑比较好，它的建筑比较雄伟，也不是很高，里面还可以，酒店的大堂也蛮大的，房间里面的环境也是比较好的，比较干净，地板也比较好，大理石的地面，房间网线电视电话都有，房间大小也可以，就是听不懂当地的语言，服务员开始的时候都不讲普通话。
