Shanshui Villa Hotel

7月份刚好跟女朋友一起休年假，之前听朋友推荐过这家酒店，于是趁着这个机会过来体验了一下。我们是从阳朔过来的，自驾大概1个小时左右，从高速下来5分钟就到了，还挺方便的。酒店位于一个高档别墅小区内，给人的第一感觉就是高大上、私密、安全。酒店的礼宾小伙子和前台非常热情，由于天气热，我们是直接到别墅里面办理入住手续的。别墅里面的管家帮我们提前把空调打开了，还准备了免费的水果、冷饮等，非常贴心。整个住下来，女朋友非常喜欢。

桂林去过无数次，但是住水印的感觉非常舒服，真正意义感受到了桂林山水甲天下，一边用餐一边欣赏着美景，一群白鹭在山水之间飞翔，小朋友在旁边画画，告诉我：妈妈这里太美了，下次还要来住。管家服务很周到，知道我带了小朋友，立即给我们换上儿童牙刷和水杯。独栋别墅，楼下厨房冰箱里准备了水果牛奶和饮料。早餐非常精致。

非常满意的一天！广西应该很少有这样别墅形式的酒店，大自然的美景让这里美丽如画。这里给我的想法是，适合几个家庭或者聚会什么的，房间的院子可以烧烤，室外的风光特别适合老人家，青山秀水的！老了来这里疗养啥毛病都不会有

很棒的一家度假酒店，临江的别墅，后院李花开放，可以远眺江景，孩子和老人在江边散步，然后到艺术菜地采摘，一家人自制沙拉体验；服务员耐心服务，让我们第一次和家人在这自然环境中互动，感受从田园到餐桌的美好体验，很有收获的旅途；|

千万不要受其图片所骗，收费超六星但服务一星都没有，因为省电冷暖空调及电梯停开，早餐比在外边小店还差，完全不懂酒店应有的服务态度。

快速入住及宿舍升级,从第一天开始心情就很好。 酒店很安静很干净。 照片也很上镜。 经纪人诚心诚意地帮助了我,确保了日程没有出现差池。回家的那天,由于手机没有检查结果,所以很惊慌,但是经纪人很快就解决了。 直到最后都很感动。 这是一家适合和家人一起安静休息的酒店。빠른 체크인 및 숙소 업그레이드로 첫날부터 기분이 좋았습니다. 호텔은 조용하고 깨끗합니다. 사진도 잘 나와요. 매니저가 성심성의껏 도와줘서 일정에 차질이 없었습니다. 컨시지어 서비스가 매우 훌륭합니다. 구이린은 밴 차량을 구하기힘든데 호텔의 6인승 밴으로 편하게 관광다닐수 있었습니다. 귀가하던 날 검체 검사 결과가 모바일로 나오지 않아 당황했지만 매니저는 빠르게 해결해줬어요. 마지막까지 감동했어요. 가족과 함께 조용한 휴식을 취하기에 좋은 호텔입니다. 단 시내와 거리가 있고 주변에는 편의점이 없기때문에 아이들간식이나 맥주등은 미리 준비해오시는것이 좋습니다. 리조트 안 식당음식도 매우 정갈하고 맛이있습니다. 특히 생선튀김과 흑당꽃빵은 잊을수가없습니다. 기회가닿으면 또 오고싶습니다

Pros:||- beautiful location with great views|- extremely helpful staff|- comfortable rooms with fully furnished bathrooms and kitchens|- fast WiFi and good TVs in every room|- great local food|- quiet and relaxing|- not far outside Guilin or from Li river cruise wharfs (20 minute drive each in opposite directions)|- safe and calm drivers|- management eager for feedback and ways to improve service|- complimentary bicycles with multiple gears available|- elevator in house (useful for elderly)||Cons:||- no continental breakfast available (as of our stay)|- sometimes difficult to find your way around the area (no signs)|- few international TV channels|||The hotel is located in a gated community about twenty minutes outside of Guilin. From the moment you arrive, you notice that the staffs only concern are your needs and wishes. The security guard at the gates salutes your car as you drive in. When checking in, the manager personally greets you, while the staff refreshes you with tea and cold towels for your face.||You are taken to your house on a multi-seater golf cart, and are welcomed there by the maid, who bids you remove your shoes. The ground floor has a nice sitting room with a large TV, a garage (with bikes if you wish), a kitchen with two stoves, dishwashers and a large fridge and freezer. The rooms are on the top floor, you can use stairs or an elevator to get there. ||Our family booked three rooms, which make up one floor. The floor above us was occupied by another family, but there were no problems with noise, as the rooms are isolated well. There are two standard rooms and one suite per floor. Each room has a large TV, good WiFi, and a beautiful bathroom. The shower has constant water pressure (not usually guaranteed in China).|In general, the hotel is beautifully furnished in a minimal way that compliments the spectacular scenery around it.||Once you've settled in, you can choose to relax or enjoy the nice, quiet neighborhood. It can be a little confusing at time to find your way around, because all the streets look the same. There is a map in the lobby, it may be advisable to take a picture of it while you check in. ||No matter where exactly your house is, the riverside promenade is never more than 5 minutes away. This is the highlight of the hotel, a tidy stretch of land alongside the Li river's banks. You see the river flow by lazily, with the iconic Karst mountains in the background. In the evening, the colors and natural light are nothing short of spectacular.||When it's time to eat, you'll make your way to the hotel restaurant. This may again be difficult to find because there are no signs, but the staff will be glad to help. You can organize a gold cart to drive you there and back anytime.|The restaurant serves great local cuisine, including delicious Yangshuo Beer Fish and Guilin Rice Noodles. Western food is lacking however. This was most noticable at breakfast, where there was no continental breakfast available. Most members of our family didn't mind, but the youngest didn't want the Chinese style breakfast, so there was only cereal for him.||The staff in the lobby will happily organize drivers to any location and book you tickets/organize events. We had them organize a Li river cruise and the whole thing went very smoothy without us having to worry about booking tickets with a person who didn't speak english etc. Also, the drivers organized by the hotel drive very safely and calmly and the cars are clean and comfortable.||We were the first Western guests in this Hotel, and the manager was very eager to please and to learn about the needs and wishes of Western tourists. Our main points to him were:||- put the place on Google Maps (because most Westerners use it to organize trips)||- offer Western food (most importantly breakfast)||Overall, the stay at this hotel was highly relaxing, with barely anything left to wish for. 5 stars well deserved.

We travelled with friends and two elderlies to Guilin booked on terms to stay exclusively in a river view villa occupying the top floor for 4D3N. Firstly, the lift was said to be under maintenance upon our arrival and we have to walk up the stairs and carry our bags all the way up to our rooms. Thinking we’re the only ones staying there, someone barged into our place while we were having a glass of wine on the ground floor the first night! Hotel management had put someone in the second floor without letting us know. How disrespectful! Then the next morning after an early shower, water leaked heavily into the next door toilet in my room. Not knowing that, I slipped and hit my head on the glass panel. When we asked to be transferred to another 3 bedroom villa, they dare to charge us extra on the room rates!|Breakfast was included but choice was limited. Staff was inexperienced and served us well done pan fried eggs though we asked for sunny sided ones. Bread was toasted soggy and was served cold. Kitchen in the villa was poorly equipped with cooking utensils and there wasn’t even a coffee machine! The rooms were varied in size and mine was only a double bed which is quite small in terms of its advertised luxury. The place was not designed practically as a hotel to start off with but was originally intended for sale. So it wasn’t very user friendly! An example to show their unprofessionalism, they sent a 5 seater vehicle for a party of six for transfer to the breakfast villa. All in all, a complete disaster and we will never in a million years go back again. There are certainly better 5 star hotels facing the Lijiang river which are more affordably priced with the same view!

我们和朋友还有两位老人一起去桂林，预定了一个位于顶楼的江景别墅，住了4天3夜。首先，据说我们到达时电梯正在维修，我们必须走上楼梯，拎着行李一直到我们的房间。以为我们是唯一住在那里的人，第一晚我们在一楼喝一杯酒时，有人闯入我们的房源！酒店管理人员在没有通知我们的情况下安排了一个人在二楼。多么无礼啊！第二天早上，早早淋浴后，水大量漏入我房间的隔壁厕所。我不知道，脚下一滑，头撞到了玻璃板上。当我们要求转移到另一栋三卧室别墅时，他们竟然敢向我们收取额外的房费！|早餐包括在内，但选择有限。工作人员缺乏经验，尽管我们要求单面煎鸡蛋，但他们为我们提供了做得很好的煎鸡蛋。面包烤得湿漉漉的，而且是冷的。别墅的厨房炊具配备很差，甚至连咖啡机都没有！房间大小不一，我的房间只有一张双人床，相对于其所宣传的奢华而言，显得相当小。这个地方一开始实际上并不是作为酒店设计的，而是最初打算出售的。所以这对用户来说不太友好！举个例子来表明他们的不专业，他们为六人聚会派了一辆五座车接送到早餐别墅。总而言之，这是一场彻底的灾难，一百万年内我们将永远不会再回到过去。当然还有更好的面朝漓江的五星级酒店，而且同样的景色，价格更实惠！
