Service staff were very helpful,, kind and friendly. The location was beautiful Guilin. Unfortunately the building and room itself is not a five star rating hotel. It is quite aged, dated and needs major updates. The nice breakfast had a nice and delicious selection. Unfortunately, the food and the helpful staff did not make up for it’s inadequacies, still not five star.

Will not recommend to anyone! ||||1: The hotel staff demonstrated limited proficiency in English, which made communication challenging and hindered the overall service experience.||||2: Although some rooms have been renovated, the hotel, which is over 30 years old, still exhibits outdated decor. Additionally, the bathrooms in the rooms had unpleasant odors, despite the renovations.||||3: Upon arrival, my family and I experienced a prolonged wait of approximately 5 minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff, who did not appear to be occupied with other tasks. It was only after I mentioned my Gold Member status that the check-in process was expedited.||||Given these issues, I feel that the hotel's current standard does not align with the 4/5 star rating advertised.

The hotel is located in the perfect spot which is within walking distance to the market, Sun and moon pagodas and the Elephant hill. There are many cafes close by and the street food is so good. The hotel room catered for 3 adults to share one room and they kindly put in an extra bed which was really comfy. The hotel room is clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and bathroom is very clean. The front desk people are friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. The lovely concierge always greeted us as we walked in and out of the hotel. The breakfast was good and it had a variety of western and traditional Guilin noodles, as well as a range of Chinese breakfast. It’s the second time I’ve stayed at Sheraton in Guilin and I would do so again!

One of the few choices of international hotel, very good location by the river. Rooms in decent condition. Only unpleasant surprise is the WiFi is so slow, can’t send email can’t conduct speed test. Not Marriot Bonvoy standard , even for China.

During our visit to China Guilin, We stayed in Sheraton hotel.Most impressive part of my stay was the service. Everybody is extremely polite and you are always greeted by a hotel staff whenever you walk past them in the hallways. Overall, it was truly a 5 star experience.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Sheraton hotel in Guilin. The location, right by the river, offered stunning views of the mountains and an enchanting light show. The nearby walking street provided plenty of dining options, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes.||||Our room was comfortable, with a cozy bed and modern amenities. The gym was well-equipped, and although the swimming pool was lovely, the water was a bit chilly. The hotel staff were exceptional—fast check-in, a room upgrade, and a thoughtful fruit bag for our onward journey.||||Overall, a delightful experience in Guilin!

Very basic average room . Too small. Not spacious. And the air conditioning is centralized. Got really hot. Too many mosquitoes in room . Had a tough time at night. Breakfast was okay good options. There could be most meal options for vegetarians. Staffs service really not satisfied many couldn't speak English. The receptionist couldn't understand properly Too. Only benefit is the location. Best location to stay for sightseeing and also restaurants. Indian restaurants was close by that's why we stayed here for 3 nights.

非常基本的普通房间。太小。不宽敞。而且空调是集中式的。 真的很热。房间里蚊子太多。晚上过得很艰难。 早餐还不错，有不错的选择。 素食者可能有大多数膳食选择。 工作人员的服务真的很不满意，很多人不会说英语。 接待员也无法正确理解。 唯一的好处是位置。 观光和餐厅的最佳住宿地点。印度餐馆就在附近，这就是我们在这里住了 3 个晚上的原因。

We spent 2 nights at Sheraton hotel in Guilin. The hotel is located very centrally in walking distance to most major tourist attractions and close to Guilin railway station. The staff was very attentive and absolutely accomodating for all of our wishes making our experience very memorable. The interior design of the hotel is well thought out and gives it a simple but elegant touch. The facilities include small swimming pool which we couldn't try due to the weather situation. The gym consisted of a handful of cardio treadmills and machines for resistance training from Life Fitness with an area in the corner with dumbells and foam rollers, yoga mats. The changing room came with a sauna.We can recommend the breakfast buffet which is a mix of Western breakfast and local specialties from Guilin.Out of the available package options we really enjoyed the photo shoot where they provide makeup and clothes(classy/elegant and Guilin traditional) to capture the amazing moments from the trip.
