Great hotel! When you walk into this hotel the scents just make you feel relaxed and taken care of. Checking in 12 people was easy and quick. The rooms are simply stunning, absolutely gorgeous! Very comfortable bed and pillows and bathroom amenities are of a high quality. My room had a balcony with very comfortable seating for four adults. Breakfast was delicious and accommodating with lots of variety. Great coffee! Air conditioning and wifi perfect. Just found the halls to be very hot outside of rooms etc. Also the noise down below can be a bit disconcerting but I could still sleep without any issues. Literally right in where all the action is in very very busy area of Yangshuo but it's lively and great fun! Tons of shops and food options and a very good supermarket literally steps and an escalator from the front door of this hotel. Loved staying here and will highly recommend.

Stayed at the Amari Yangshuo for just two nights at the end of a Li River cruise. Check in was fine but there are only two reception stations and a small lobby so would not want to arrive with a coach load of other tourists. Located virtually in the main town there is really good access to shops, cafes, restaurants and a large supermarket. This is a bustling town which is very exciting but as other reviewers have remarked loud music and people noise seriously invade the hotel. During our stay the nearby music did not cease until 11.00pm and street noise continued well after that time.||||Our Superior room was a good size with smallish double bed, easy chair, coffee table and short sofa. Entire room was very clean but there are a lot of mirrors and the lighting is dim. Complimentary water, mini bar, fridge, kettle, safe and tea/coffee. A small area with vanity unit and basin leads to the wet room/bathroom and there is a plentiful supply of toiletries and towelling. Bath robes were provided but they were extremely small. The WC cubicle is adjacent to the wet room. Adequate hanging and storage space for our short stay with an umbrella, iron and ironing board.||||Enjoyed breakfast in a dining room with pleasant views of the natural surroundings with a chef on station and a good variety of Asian and Western food. Service was hospitable and efficient. There is an outside terrace when weather permits. Did not get a chance to use the fitness centre in the hotel and our stay was perfectly satisfactory but you do need to cope with the nightlife.||||If time allows take a stroll in the nearby park and if you can venture further afield find The Secret Garden Hotel where we had a superb lunch in tranquil surroundings. In Yangshuo eat at Lucys Cafe and Bar which was recommended by our guide and was a great small family run enterprise. There is no shortage of eating places in this busy town and there are a few establishments serving more western choices. In summary if you like hustle and bustle a great place to experience.

We had a 4 nights paid stay at the Amari Yangshuo. I shall start with the highlights. ||* Room:|We had the Duplex 2 bedrooms suite, which was beautifully designed with sufficient living and storage areas. Our room was spotlessly clean. Shower pressure was wonderful and the Breeze toiletries had a pleasant fragrance. The mattress and pillows were firm and these provided a great sleeping experience.||* Location:|Depending on what you are seeking, Amari has a great location at the claustrophic West Street. This means that there is an endless variety of dining and shopping options just right outside the doorstep of the hotel. But it also means that there are non-stop karaoke singing from competing bars and pubs. Thankfully, we experience minimal noise from the West Street inside our room.||* Front Desk|The huge problem we faced was the front desk during our stay. The front desk was woefully understaffed considering the huge size of this property. With only one front desk associate at one check in/checkout counter and the front desk manager constantly missing, she was extremely flustered by the noisy huge local tour groups insisting to check in and check out at the same time. And not only did we encounter lengthy delays during check-in/check-out, the lady was just so dismissive of us.||What a waste. It could have been a great stay. However, the huge mess during check-in/check-out marred the entire stay. This is totally unacceptable given the high price point we paid, and the hotel positioning itself as a 5 star luxury property in Yangshuo.||Total ratings 2.8/5

This is clearly one of the best hotels in Yangshuo but you just can’t help feel it could be better.|The rooms are good offering plenty of space and this is a clear positive. However there is a lot of development work outside which impacts on the view and makes the balcony redundant. The bar area is welcoming but they do seem to lack stock and service is slow. If you are in anything but a small vehicle you will have to walk from a nearby car park.|Overall not bad with some upsides. Once the development work has finished this will see a big improvement

We booked the 2-bedroom Deluxe Suite which had beds for 5 people and was very spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom and toilet were separate which helps when you are many people. It was great to see big bottles of toiletry products, avoiding the usual many small plastic disposable bottles. ||The location is fantastic, just a short walk away from West Street with its nightlife and many restaurants, and nestled in between the mountains of Yangshuo.||The staff spoke basic English, but we were able to communicate with the help of Google Translate. ||Breakfast was a mix of Western and Asian, nothing amazing, but enough variety to keep everyone happy.||I would definitely book again, especially considering its convenient location.

Great location, good service, very clean, but perhaps a little on the expensive side for what you get. There was some system malfunction in my room that resulted in the doorbell ringing and all the lights turning on automatically, waking me up several times in the middle of the night. Had to take the room key out of the slot and cut power to the whole room to get it to stop. Did not make for a nice experience, but I don't expect that is a common problem. Would be four stars otherwise. Breakfast was only okay at this price

There are many good things about the Amari. The design of the hotel is lovely, rooms are carefully laid out with a Thai aesthetic and they are spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent near West street but it can be a bit noisy.||||Where the hotel starts to lose some points is in its staff. Reception staff are friendly but this is a 5 star International hotel and so you would expect a) Chinese b) Thai and c) English given the clientele - we saw numerous visitors struggling with staff with limited language and the need to use google translate.
