Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique Hotel

My husband and I traveled around China recently for 3 weeks and Ancient Garden is our favourite hotel. Our room was big, a comfortable bed, clean and a beautiful bathroom. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Gave us lots of local information and even went out to buy some fresh coconuts for us. They have bikes you can borrow for free. We had an early departure and Sophia arranged for us to have an early breakfast. This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff especially Sophia, Amber, Rebecca, Cathy and Sara. Highly recommend. Unforgettable stay thanks to five-star service, delicious food, spacious and clean accommodations. Sophia at the front desk gave us great advice -- where to get bamboo rafting tickets, the best way to get there (we walked along a lovely footpath along Yulong Rover), and how to find quiet bike paths. During our stay we borrowed bicycles and rode 10km away, only to get caught in a downpour. Sophia arranged a truck to pick up the bicycles so we could take a cab back to the hotel. Our cold and wet kids were relieved!The hotel offers breakfast and afternoon tea, which are great. It also has an entertaining craft room. The pool is also fun. The hotel is located down an alley in a quiet and peaceful location. Ideal for families and groups. Very highly recommend staying here when you come to Yangshuo.

酒店坐落村里，起初有點難找，到達之後很有驚喜，環境優美，設施齊全！就是山里太潮濕了，房間被鋪殺菌未如理想，我和先生都感到睡覺時有點癢，衞生間坐厠有漏水問題，早上起來有點異味，向前台反映了但未能即時處理，估計要維修！餐廳中餐食物質素不錯，價錢也不貴，可惜未有時間嘗嘗西餐！退房後前台告訴我漏了衣服，我請他們快遞寄給我，他們當天就發出來了，服務很到位！非常感謝！

The structure is very beautiful. Traditional Chinese style. The room is large and comfortable. The owner is helpful and speaks good English. The hotel is not on the main road so it's very quiet. Also the garden is very beautiful. Good breakfast.

Wonderful gem in Yangshuo - beautiful hotel, secluded in a quiet neighbourhood with exceptionally friendly, competent English speaking hotel staff who made our stay there a highlight. We can strongly recommend this wonderful place.

Really beautiful old ancient garden hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff and the location is convenient and quiet. 5 to 10 min bike ride to the river and 10 to 15 min by car to the town for the show. Rooms are big and very clean. Pool is big and clean and perfect to cool down during the hot days. Breakfast is good and the afternoon tea as well! Really recommended if you like a quiet, clean and beautiful place 😎

真是美丽的老古园林酒店！非常友好和乐于助人的工作人员，位置便利且安静。骑自行车 5 至 10 分钟即可到达河边，驾车 10 至 15 分钟即可到达镇上观看演出。房间很大而且很干净。游泳池又大又干净，非常适合在炎热的天气里降温。早餐不错，下午茶也不错！如果你喜欢一个安静、干净、美丽的地方，真的很推荐😎

Really beautiful old ancient place with nice breakfast, clean and nice pool and clean big rooms. Staff is really friendly and the place is nice and quiet and still close to everything. Within 5 to 15 min you are at the river or the town where the show is. I would definitely recommend this place and take the bike along the river. I would recommend the long 1.5 hour bamboo rafting and leave early so it won’t be to crowded and you can enjoy the beautiful views on the river.

A charming boutique hotel in a beautiful setting and convenient location. The traditional Chinese architecture and grounds/gardens are gorgeous. The room was fabulous, clean and well maintained, with antique Chinese furniture and modern high quality fixtures, and well equipped with dehumidifier, anti-mosquito device, clothes dryer, water filter, Japanese toilet, etc. The service was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Jima village is really charming, and it is only a few kilometers from Yangshuo and Xi Jie (can walk to Xi Jie within an hour - about 5 KM) so it is easy to get taxis to/from the hotel and can ride bicycles to town in one direction or to Yulong River in the other direction. The free bikes were really useful. The breakfasts were really nice. We stayed a week, and didn't want to leave.
