怡景半岛酒店

I have been a regular, loyal, and long time customer at Yijing Peninsula for more than 10 years. I witnessed the improvements it had made over all these years. It was and still is, I reckon, the best hotel in Yijing for business visitors and/or tourists. Its rooms are relatively spacious and clean. Its staff are friendly and most helpful. Some of the staff, particularly the front desk and bar receptionists, can and do like to speak (so as to practise their) English. Internet and wifi connection in the room is free (though unstable at times). Its Chinese restaurant is quite popular with good selection from the menu. It has many private rooms fit for business dinners. The western restaurant is a disappointment, though. I find the bar on Level 2 quite nice and the charges for its drinks low for a hotel bar. But it has few customers. Suggestion to turn it into a sport bar with big screen so as to attract local and business visitors was not taken up by the Management. It is therefore very quiet, further eroding its attraction.||||Items that I would like to see improving at the hotel include: a) lighting in the rooms is grossly inadequate, especially for anyone who wants to work on the desk before going to bed at night; b) the hotel complied strictly with a pre-set annual schedule for providing centralised cooling or heating only in certain months of the year, irrespective of the ambient temperature; c) it appeared to me that the hotel switched off its cooling compressor after midnight and then switched it on again at dawn - as I could feel and measure the change in temperature waking in the heat of the night, especially when the ambient temperature was quite high; and d) its swimming pool is very very small, yet populated by many local children during summer.

我们住的标准间，宽敞明亮，硬件配套齐全，房间床很舒适，干净。该店地理位置并不是很方面，有车的最好，环境优美，风景很好，安逸，空气清新。我们是直接在酒店里用餐的，不错，中西，各个地方的菜都有。房间是中央空调，电视一般，隔音效果不错，网络一般。服务员服务不错，很贴心，态度很好，亲切，都是美女接待。酒店整体很不错，性价比一般，多些促销活动就好了。

I returned to Yijing Peninsula Hotel after a lapse of about four months, and was pleased to be greeted like returning home. I stayed in Room 1410 on the recently (last year) renovated 14th Floor. The room was impeccably clean and well furnished. It has all the lightings and controls I need to work in the evenings, and also the best chair I have ever found in any hotel for working on the desk in terms of ergonomics and comfort (see photo). It also provides both LAN and WIFI for free internet access (although the speed was a little bit slower at night when traffic was busy).||||Yijing Peninsula Hotel is still by far the best hotel for traveling business persons (and for wedding banquet, too - as I observed) in Yizheng and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

时隔四个月左右再次入住怡景半岛酒店，很高兴受到像回到家一样的欢迎。 我住在最近（去年）装修过的 14 楼 1410 房间。 房间一尘不染，家具齐全。 它配备了我晚上工作所需的所有照明和控制装置，也是我在所有酒店中找到的在人体工程学和舒适度方面在办公桌上工作的最好的椅子（见照片）。 还提供LAN和WIFI免费上网（虽然晚上交通繁忙时速度会慢一些）。||||怡景半岛酒店仍然是目前为止商务旅行（以及婚宴）的最佳酒店仪征及周边地区也有宴会——据我观察）。 强烈推荐。

因为它离我的工作不算太远，所以我会经常过去，到这边主要过来消费，因为娱乐设施比较全，它们的海鲜也不错，像保龄球啊都有，桑拿啊，基本你能想到的设施都有！不过位置比较偏哦！基本上都是开车过来了，服务呢就是过来休闲的话的，他们递一些东西都是比较及时的，可以了。这边连国家领导人都会过来，房间分的很清，有的很好，有的一般，不过一般的也很不错的，这酒店主要用来接待用的，是一个集团公司下属的一家酒店，还有一些首脑的来访，它的总统套房非常多！

Last week's return to my favorite Yijing Peninsula Hotel was particularly enjoyable. We had great food at a grand private dining room on Level 2, followed by several hours' relaxing chatting and sipping of a very good Great Wall red wine (completely new to us, ordered from the wine list) at its bar also on Level 2. I then returned to my room, satisfied but tired, and went quickly to sleep in my comfortable bed.||||What I should highlight was the eagerness and enthusiasm of the service staff to serve and make customers feel at home and respected. No wonder Yijing Peninsula has become the Xiao Lin Temple of the hotel industry in this part of Jiangsu - tough training ground for new recruits in the industry. That also explains why so many service staff, especially the waitresses at its restaurants, were young ladies.||||I would recommend travelers to ask for rooms on the 11th to 13 floors, which I had stayed before and had all been renovated/refurnished in the past one year or two. Also, ask the rooms on the side facing the "peninsula" instead of on top of the A/C plant which could be quite noisy and disturbing at night.

The Yizheng Peninsula isn't a bad place to stay and is of 4* standard. If you've been told you're staying here on business, then you could defnintely get worse places to lay your head down at night.||||Staff are very courteous and rooms are cleaned to a high standard, with any mess tidied and clothes folded. Attention to detail was very good; it was my birthday and this was noticed - the hotel sent me a card and gave me a good luck soft toy....which made a birthday in China away from home a little better!||||Rooms need redecorating - but are clean and adequate with selection of western tv channels. Discovery, BBC news, CNN news, Star Movies and NHK are your lot. Take an HDMI cable with you if you're staying for longer and plug your laptop into the 32" flatscreen TV. There is a room safe, a fridge and bath/shower. Beds are comfortable and mattresses solid.||||Facilities include a well equipped gym, snooker room, bowling alley, tennis courts and swimming pool. The bar is pretty quiet at the best of times. Note you will have to pay for everything except the gym; fairly expensive but hey, it's something to do.||||Food - breakfast is pretty well stocked and western food is available every day as well as a hot chinese selection. Omelettes can be cooked to order. The restaurant at any other time is pretty pricey though - it's good to get out and explore if you have time....||||The only catch is that downtown is pretty far away. Yizheng proper is about 4 miles away, though there is an area about 2 miles away with a KFC, supermarket and bakery. Head down the first bridge street and you get to a minimart, a little further on and there is a supermarket for any convenience things you need. Cross the river at Third bridge street and walk several blocks to near the hospital and there is a great noodle place on the left hand side - the proprietors wear skullcaps so you should see them. Awesome noodles. Keep going on third bridge street and you get to KFC eventually. A taxi ride to T Best for a western meal is about 15-20 yuan.

I stayed there for 7 days during a business trip. According to the locals, this is the best hotel in the area (to be honest. I've never been to any others in the area). The front desk staff speak English fluently and they were very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean.. for a strange reason the bathroom taps open in the opposite way. Every room has its own wifi modem/router (internet is free of charge) but the signal is not stable causing frequent disconnections. There are two restaurants in the hotel; Chinese and Western style, however the selection(for western restaurant) is limited. Unfortunately, the restaurant's staff hardly speak English and there was always a mistake when we ordered something. Recommended if you are on a business trip or/ if you plan a short stay.

I have stayed twice this year. Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Rooms are in good condition. Breakfast is good. Quiet. ||Not sure if there is much to do near the hotel, as I have been only for business and stayed one night each time.||I have not been able to explore the gym, but apparently good facilities as well
