Hyatt Regency Wuxi

Excellent location and fantastic decoration in the downtown Wuxi. However, rooms are not sound proof and you can clearly hear what people talking and doing next to your room. Contact front desk several but did not get much support. Quite below Hyatt standard

Hi, good hotel and location. Service is a challenge. Reception barely speaks English, they were going to link my stay to my Hyatt loyalty program and never did it. I therefore didn't get my invoice. It took me half a day to retrieve my invoice.

A solid choice for business travellers in Wuxi. The hotel rooms offer spectacular views with while meeting your expectations with the usual chain-hotel comforts and amentities. The gym is pretty well-equipped and the room service dining fuels you rather well. Service staff is warm and friendly but has somewhat limited English. Basic Mandarin would go a long way in this hotel.

The views from the hotel are beautiful, especially the city lights at night. Service is very good and the staff friendly. The hotel is also very well located, just a short 5 minutes from the metro. Suning plaza is next door for shopping to your heart's content. Excellent restaurants are also everywhere if you prefer not to eat in. Also many tourist spots are in and around Wuxi.

The hotel is relatively close to the Wuxi center.. Nanchang street, which is the best district for the tourists, is about 5 minutes away by taxi (25-30 minutes by walk).. The hotels building is a skyscraper of 65 floor. the lobby is on 43th floor, my room was on 62.. The view was really beautiful especially on the nights. The staff were helpful and fluent English speaking.. The top floor is a Chinese restaurant with fusion Chinese foods..

As usual - google doesn't work in china - so the correct spot of hotel is 31.57813393921783, 120.29984900814739. Probably best place to live in Wuxi. The cost is comparatively lesser than other Hyatt hotels but the amenities aren't compromised. Great staff. You can see the spectacular city view. Only problem is staff doesn't speak very good english - you have to be very slow while speaking and must wait all time till one of the staff who speaks english can address your concerns. As usual in china, you would have tough time if you are a vegan or vegetarian or have other religious food restriction.

Hotel in city center connected to subway.... room and hotel is fantastic.... google map location seems a bit off..... should be beside the big mall SuNing 苏宁广场

Hardware is in good condition as it is a new hotel, but the service is the worst I have seen, even for China standards, in my 16 years traveling all over China. Location is good, but not worth what you pay for.
