I was based in nearby Hangzhou for some years, and conducted a thorough survey of Suzhou hotel options on behalf of my employer. This was an easy No. 1 choice: excellent for location and service. The fact that it was 'mid-price' (quite low mid-price, at that!) was a bonus.||||I've stayed here several times since, and never really had a bad experience. The staff on reception are excellent, and all speak very good English. The rooms vary in size quite a bit, but are all clean and comfortable. They are also, for the most part, remarkably quiet - despite the fact that the hotel nestles in the heart of a pedestrian shopping and nightlife area. (The one problem I've encountered is that the lane at the back has a number of restaurants and a karaoke bar which can be very noisy: it is best to avoid the north side of the hotel, especially the lower floors.)||||The Youngor Central is right in the heart of Suzhou, in a bustling pedestrianised retail district - with numerous cheap restaurants to choose from nearby. It is just south of Xuanmiao Si, a large Daoist temple, which is well worth a look (and which has a large street market spring up in front of it at the weekends). It is easy walking distance to all the main gardens, and the charming Pingjiang Jie walking street alongside one of the old canals.||||Public transport links are also very good for travel to the railway stations or Jinji Lake or other more distant parts of the city: there are several major bus routes on Ganjiang Donglu, the main east-west road just 100 yards away. And the hotel is midway between two stations on Line 1 of the Metro, Leqiao and Lindun Road - both barely 10 minutes' walk away.||||I see they now seem to be offering a 'free breakfast', but that has never been included in any of the packages I've booked there in the past. I've never tried the restaurant, actually: I am told it is good, but a little expensive - and there are so many other options to try in the neighbourhood.||||||Suzhou is the nicest major city in China. And the Youngor Central is the best place to stay in Suzhou.

This review is for the date: June 2015. Was attending a conference held at the hotel which apparently is a host to many such venues.|Well located hotel which the taxi driver found with ease. Hotel itself situated in a busy pedestrian shopping area (and occasional cars!) however, hotel room was very quiet and noise free. Impressed with cleanliness of the room and 'smoke' free odor of the space. The bathroom/shower had a bit of mold growing around the edges of the bathtub and the tiles around the tub were very worn and old but otherwise the bathroom was clean.|Staff were polite and able to converse in basic English which was a huge plus. Would recommend the place.

Being my first time to China has been an experience in itself and so my review should be seen in this light. Having already spent 2 days in Shanghai I was already familiar with the frequent car horns and crossing the road at ones peril. The taxi from the train station to the hotel takes ~15-30mins depending on the time of day. The hotel is nicely decorated, and welcoming. Staff were helpful and attentive without fussing. The room was nice and clean. The internet standard in the rooms is cable, but ask housekeeping for a router so you can have wi-fi instead (ie. more than one appliance). We did not eat at the hotel and so cannot comment on the cafe. The hotel is in 'downtown' Suzhou and so it close to lots of cafes of various descriptions and shops for everything. You are away from the intensive tourist craft shops and incessant haggling, although not immune from the "Do you want to buy a watch/handbag/reduced tickets?" touts. Using taxis was the easiest means of seeing three of the famours gardens.

I spent three nights in this lovely hotel and although I paid rmb three hundred ninety-one per night for a small single room, I felt it was worth the fare. Why? Clean, safe, great location (just a few minutes walk from Guanqian Street--a landmark pedestrian shopping and restaurant area), and a wonderful buffet breakfast. B-fast, to be sure, is 90% Chinese style but you at least have the option of eggs cooked your way, bacon, toast, some pastries, as well as coffee. The b-fast service was excellent and the setting and sitting pleasant. I believe it's rated a four star hotel yet that's Chinese standards not international. I'd call it a solid three star--one to which I'd return. BTW, other sights such as Pingjiang Street and the Suzhou Musuem are within walking distance of about 1.5 km. It's a pleasant and easy stroll. I almost forgot to mention the hotel restaurant, which has good food at reasonable prices. Try the "Squirrel shaped mandarin fish," a local favorite: at rmb one hundred twenty-eight, it's much cheaper than other similarly classed outside restaurants.

Superb hotel! I am glad I made a booking even knowing it is not an international hotel. Location is very convenient. Only less than 10 mins to Subway. (Exit 7). Walking distance to many attractions. Walking distance to many bars, restaurant and shopping centers. I only paid 298 RMB and my room was huge! The bed was larger than a king size bed and the room was spotless. I must say the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are willing to help and courteous. The Concierge team was so professional. I am a hotelier and I always stay in international hotels but I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not the one for you and don't complain. I will certainly be back! (PS. I did not use their restaurants so I cannot make any comments)

My wife and two children (ages 1 and 3) stayed here for eight days. There are only a handful of partially-English-speaking employees at the hotel, and to be honest they definitely tried their best to accommodate our needs. The morning breakfast offers some Western-style foods (i.e. bacon and eggs), so this was a huge plus for us considering it is hard to get Western meals in Suzhou besides McDonald's and KFC. You can walk to dozens of good tourist sites as well even though there are gazillions of car, bicycle, and moped taxis. The bottom line is that I do recomment this hotel and I'd definitely stay there again if I ever return to Suzhou.

我的妻子和两个孩子（一岁和三岁）在这里住了八天。酒店里只有少数会说部分英语的员工，说实话，他们确实尽力满足我们的需求。早上的早餐提供一些西式食物（即培根和鸡蛋），所以这对我们来说是一个巨大的优势，因为在苏州除了麦当劳和肯德基之外很难吃到西餐。尽管有无数的汽车、自行车和轻便摩托车出租车，您也可以步行前往数十个不错的旅游景点。 最重要的是，我确实推荐这家酒店，如果我回到苏州，我肯定会再次住在那里。

雅戈爾富宮位於觀前街一號的十字路口，地點非常棒，我們提早報到本來只是想先寄放行李，前台主動幫我們升等到園景房，行李員也主動幫我們提行李進房。|從景點回到酒店，已經幫我拉好窗簾開了夜床，房間也很乾淨，衛浴的備品牙刷分成兩個顏色很細心。|離開酒店遺留了相機鏡頭蓋，主動聯繫我們回到旅館領取，看旅伴的雨傘故障也主動要提供一把傘供我們使用，非常貼心的旅館服務，下次到蘇州還要來這裡住。

地理位置很好，在苏州正中心，很老的那条街。设施没有什么太好，可能太老了一点吧。房间空间不大，当时住得两个人的标准间。酒店外观是苏式的那种园林式的那种，里面的环境挺好的。大堂不是很大，马马虎虎还可以。我们只住了一个晚上。隔音挺好的，没有听到吵闹。浴室一般，是那种浴盆。上网没有无线网，两个人只有一根网线。桌椅，板凳都不是很新，服务员办理手续的速度还可以。
