A wonderful 5 star property in Donghai. Clean and super luxurious rooms. Also the location is perfect just 5 mins away from Crystal mall.

I was not expecting much from a hotel in the area when I was told that I would have to overnight in Donghai County, but I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was relatively spacious and very clean, and was stocked with robes, slippers, and even an iron! Bed was quite comfortable and I loved the shower - it was designed so that you are standing on a platform, and the water drains off the platform immediately, so your feet are never in a pool of water. Room also came with two complimentary bottles of water, and they left some fruit at night. There are local restaurants a 10-15 minute walk away, and it was easy to get a taxi in the morning. Breakfast was nothing special, but had a range of selections to choose from.||||On the flip side, air conditioning was not working when I arrived, but they fixed it once I called to ask. The water in the taps and bathtub were brown at first with some black sediment, but the tap cleared out after running it for a bit.||||Staff were friendly and informative. I never tested their english, so unsure how they would fare from that perspective. Wifi was included in the price, and was quite quick - 30mb down/20up. No problem streaming Youku or connecting to my VPN.||||All in all, I was quite pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For the price - just over 600rmb for an executive room - it was a good value. I would even stay in this hotel if it were located in another city! If I ever need to overnight again, I would stay here.

Check in was ok, staff friendly.|Room was spacious and generally clean but when looking to details unfortunately some spots had been missed (for example the soap holder under shower was covered in opp soap) and I think a general makeover may be needed as rules got damaged and the shower selector knob did not work properly.||Room was quite spacious and internet worked well.||The bed was perfect for me. Not to soft not to hard - had a real relaxing sleep.||Breakfast was quite Chinese yet one can find something more western as well, you won't be starving.|Coffee is terrible as with most Chinese hotels. In my opinion even instant coffee tastes better than the drop coffee they serve.|For dinner tried the buffet which served more seafood and fish than anything else. Not my personal favorite but again, something can be found to eat beside fish and seafood. Staff was attentive and friendly - more than in many other China hotels I have been.|
