NillStayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde on 22/4/2025. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars parking at the front. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid but to stay at the hotel without proper comfortable ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately l sent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service is that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to a night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay.
2025 年 4 月 22 日在承德希尔顿花园酒店住了一晚。酒店入口处停满了汽车。当我的司机送我们去酒店办理入住手续时,酒店前面的停车人员并没有多大帮助。他关心的只是更快地卸载并将汽车从该区域移走。他根本没有提供任何帮助。我不确定停车服务员是否是希尔顿酒店雇用的。如果是的话,那么这项服务确实不符合希尔顿的客户服务标准。我们带着一件大行李和几件小行李。我们必须搬着它爬几段楼梯才能进入酒店入口。进入酒店入口的滑道并不位于酒店入口的正前方,而是隐藏在被前面的停车车遮挡或部分遮挡的一侧。不过接待女士非常友好。我们的楼层很高,她扫描了我的微信,以便稍后与酒店联系。酒店房间非常宽敞漂亮,但房间很闷。只有一扇小小的窗户可以打开一点点,让外面的空气进来。下午的气温高达25摄氏度,房间里很热。我们无法调节房间内的空调,因为它位于中央位置!打电话到接待处询问为什么房间空调无法调节,而且似乎不起作用,但被告知这是中央设置。好吧,你付了钱,但住在酒店里,没有适当的舒适通风,只能依靠外面的空气从小窗户里进来。尽管酒店设施很齐全,但我们仍然无法真正享受舒适的睡眠,因为我们感觉很热。酒店的浴室和卫生间是分开的。洗手盆在浴室外面。早餐很好有很多种类。退房后,我意识到我可能把旅行适配器落在房间里了。 我立即通过微信给酒店发了一条短信,但令我失望的是,他们过了两天才回复我的消息,让我自己联系前台询问自己?!这是什么服务???让酒店客人加微信,还让我们自己打电话给前台?并非所有游客都会有当地的 SIM 卡来拨打电话。这实在令人失望。 他们应该提供更好的服务 与前台柜台核实,然后 通过微信回复我们。这家希尔顿想要获得更好的评价肯定还有很长的路要走。酒店靠近提供许多街头小吃的夜市。有一个小吃摊提供非常美味的朱昌乐趣。我住了一晚的经历并不愉快。
