Well... when we arrived we were very happy about the hotel, how clean it is and the location, etc.. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. They upgraded our stay to a better room for free and everything would be great if... if the swimming pool and hot springs would operate as it was the main reason of our stay. When we arrived, hotel staff informed us that the swimming pool is actually under construction, and that we can not use the hot springs, as... it's "too hot". However, we decided to stay at the hotel, and the stay was awesome!

The stay in Jinpeng Eco Hotel was very great and we had a really good time. The rooms with the balcony are super nice, and were very clean. The hotel staff is very supportive and friendly and we even had extra wishes (prepare cake for a birthday etc.) and they supported without problem. The restaurant serves Western and Chinese food (we tried mainly Chinese food) and it was very good and definitely worth it. To go to the Shaolin Temple and the other Temple areas and sightseeing areas we visited there was a ride of approx. 30 minutes needed (~20km). We had a rental car and parking fee was included.If I would go there again, I would definitely choose the Hotel again.

The place is absolutely stunning! The room is gorgeous, with a privileged view to the mountain. Decoration is flawless, either in the room and at the external areas. The restaurant has plenty of food types, a variety of options, including foreign food, all of them super delicious and clean!The room is clean, cozy, pretty, all the amenities in perfect conditions. I also highlight the pillows, as they also have many options you can choose. I didn’t choose any, I went for the one that was there available already, and OMG what a pillow! Seriously was one of the best pillows I’ve ever used in my life. I even wanted to buy one, but wasn’t for sale. This hotel is highly recommended, one of the best options (if not the best) around.

这个地方绝对令人惊叹！房间很华丽，可以看到山景。无论是在房间内还是在外部区域，装饰都完美无瑕。餐厅菜品种类丰富，选择多样，包括外国菜，都超级好吃，而且干净！房间干净、舒适、漂亮，所有设施条件都很完美。我还重点介绍了枕头，因为它们也有很多可供选择的选项。我没有选择任何一个，我选择了已有的那个，天啊，多么好的一个枕头啊！说实话，这是我一生中用过的最好的枕头之一。我什至想买一个，但不卖。强烈推荐这家酒店，是周围最好的选择之一（如果不是最好的）。

We obviously arrived at a very difficult time for the area people due to the disaster of the storm that affected zhengzhou and the neighboring areas. Prayers go out to all the folks here. Hope they recover soon. Jia You henan! 🙏🏽🙏🏽 as for this hotel. Wow just wow. Perfect location at the foot of mount song with the Shaolin temple close by. All though all the sightseeing areas are closed we will definitely be back to experience the area again. Loved the hotel. What wonderful and caring staff. Ms. Yun the manager was so helpful and kind. Smooth check in process. Lovely rooms and very comfortable and true value for money. Didn’t try the breakfast but restaurant looked nice. Wonderful stay and one to remember for sure. Swimming pool was closed though during our stay. Interiors are beautiful and has a nice landscape of forest built within the old although fake but appealing to nature and the ecology

The hotel is clean and offers a lovely mountain view and a satisfying buffet breakfast with many options. However, it is not in close proximity to local attractions so you can expect to use a taxi to get around. The main amenities like the swimming pool and hot springs shown on the advertisement are out of service. As it was comfortable, I had really enjoyed my two night stay relaxing in the room here until I ordered the laundry service. It's highly expensive, and upon checkout they suggested I also needed to pay for the cotton bag that my laundry was returned in. I was unwilling to pay the fee as it was not communicated so I had to unconveniently unpack my luggage in the lobby to return the bag instead of them accepting the 25 yuan/$5 loss for their mistake. For a 5 star hotel to be that inflexible with the customer for such a small thing, it was enough to change my opinion of them. I definitely will not lodge here again. 😡👎Melanie from Canada 🇨🇦

They were very flexible with early check-in and also accommodating with any issues we had. Also the bathroom was spacious and bright. The breakfast was delicious as well!
