Hyatt Regency Ningbo Hangzhou Bay

My parents and I re-visit the place we had stayed 45 years ago. What is good about this place is the food. The breakfast buffet is so great. The quality of the food are awesome. You can tell they prepare it with good ingredients and professional way. Just so tasty. Wonton soup is way better than what I have tried in Beijing and Shanghai: the broth is real chicken broth, the small wonton is thin, the meat is fresh. The green onion pancake with meat was prepared in special oven just like you would see in street food. Very authentic. The local food definitely stand out!

Its a modern property built to an high standards. I stayed in the executive business room on the 22nd floor with a city view . There is espresso coffee machine as well as kettle including the Japanese toilet which works perfectly.|1 hour 15 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes to the city centre. |The bed is extremely comfortable and very clean room . I will stay there again

For your Business trip this hotel would be your preference choice.||- modern "clean style" in the room with all needed service,||- English peaking personal at the reception,||- Top notch Breakfast to start your day on good feet,||- Swimming pool and well equipped gym room,||- Access to Lounge for after work,||- Of course possibility to book meeting room.||||Only point playing against the hotel:||Its location slightly far from main Mall area and slowed urbanism development project in the area. This won't be an issue if you are prepared to do all your displacements in taxis, very easy to book in China at very affordable price.

The main disappointment is that the aircon doesn’t work. I’ve tried 3 rooms so far and none is capable of maintaining anything below 22c (it’s 14c outside). The staff literally walked me to rooms with various keys to see if the aircon worked in that room. The aircon is also never on in the gym (it was 28c the other day) - it probably doesn’t work either. Food is OK though choice after breakfast is exceptionally limited and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Housekeeping staff are very friendly. Hyatt, in general, isn’t much of a brand and global support was useless.

Location, room comfort, hotel conditionI chose this hotel for its location.my late check-in and 2-night stay was a very pleasant experience: comfortable bed and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, clean and generous sized room, plus professional service, efficiency and tranquility for business travel. Recommended!

Every aspect of this hotel were well within the expectations or more. Receptionists are friendly and versatile, food is great, and rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Great staff, they were very helpful. They was no language barrier. The breakfast was really good. The location is in a quiet area which was great. Overall I would stay there again.
