知海大酒店

好像没看到星级，不过感觉达到了四星级。硬件设施不错，电脑、电视电话（国内上班打）。房间很大，服务也很好，关键是性价比高！就是位置偏了点。 |！！！

This is the poorest rating I've ever given on TA. Evidently, certain floors of this hotel are good but most are not. We had mold on our walls. The wallpaper was peeling in the hallway and in our room. The room was very dirty and the floors were just nasty. We were on 5. We had friends in the same group that stayed on 9. Their rooms were much nicer. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the coffee shop attached and the restaurants on the side of the building. They were all clean and food was good. If you have the hotel key, the coffee shop gives you 15% off. Avoid the breakfast the hotel serves if you can.

We booked this hotel on an online booking site about a month in advance. We knew we were coming during Golden Week, also known as National Week, when crowds can get heavy, so had booked well before the date. However, when we turned up they told us they didn't want to honor the price we had booked at, which was 218 RMB. They wanted to charge us 400 RMB, almost twice the rate we had booked at, and cast us out into the street if we didn't agree. They said that they could rent it out at a higher to someone else because it was a festival day and expected us to be okay with them reneging on the deal. ||||After a 20 minute stand-off, they finally agreed to ring the online booking company, who told them they had to honor the booking. Needless to say, their lack of professionalism over the booking was not a good omen, and this proved to be a terrible hotel with dreadful service. For example, on the second day they said they would bring the breakfast coupons up to the room. I was naked when they knocked at the door and called out for them to wait a moment while I got changed. The woman banged on the door angrily and when I was decent a couple of minutes later, she threw the breakfast coupons at me and stormed off! Furthermore, the breakfast was dreadful, the air-conditioning was switched off the whole time, making the rooms stuffy, and hey had even turned off all the lights in the corridor in their money saving drive. It was spookily dark in this place at night. Basically, do not even consider staying in this terrible hotel.
