华天大酒店

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Tinamen Mountain cable car (10 minute walk), and close to many restaurants. We got a room upgrade to a very big, comfortable and clean room. The breakfast is excellent, delicious traditional chinese cuisine. The hotel haas a travel agency (where we booked tickets to the national park saving us the lines), money exchange service and several grocery stores.Overall everything was good except for a very unpleasant interaction with the staff. We had an early train in the morning and we asked at the front desk to help us book a taxi in advance. The entire staff, none of them speaks english obviously, 5 people started to make fun of us in chinese for several minutes, eventually telling us to to catch a taxi on the road at 5 in the morning. What is so funny about asking the hotel staff to call a taxi? It was very humiliating, this hotel clearly does not care for its foreign guests. I've stayed in several hotels in China, never have I experienced anything similar. Additionaly, since we checked out before breakfast the hotel refused to provide us with any appropriate compensation, offering us a bottle of water and a piece of bread. Cannot recommend this hotel.

酒店地理位置优越，距离Tinamen山缆车非常近（步行10分钟），也靠近很多餐厅。我们的房间升级到了一个非常大、舒适、干净的房间。早餐很棒，美味的中国传统美食。酒店有一家旅行社（我们在那里预订了国家公园的门票，省去了排队的时间）、货币兑换服务和几家杂货店。总的来说，除了与工作人员的互动非常不愉快之外，一切都很好。我们早上要赶早班火车，所以我们要求前台帮我们提前预订了出租车。所有的工作人员，显然都不会说英语，5个人开始用中文取笑我们几分钟，最后告诉我们早上5点在路上搭出租车。让酒店工作人员叫出租车有什么好笑的？这是非常丢脸的，这家酒店显然不关心外国客人。我在中国住过好几家酒店，从来没有经历过类似的事情。另外，由于我们在早餐前退房，酒店拒绝向我们提供任何适当的补偿，只给我们提供了一瓶水和一块面包。不能推荐这家酒店。

The service was good except the fact that no receptionist spoke english. I had to get the help of another customer, which is kind of lame for a 5 star hotel.The room was very good, clean and the bed was perfect. I was sad enough there wasn't any VPN, which is really inconvenient when you come from Europe because you may not have WeChat, so all the websites you're used to use are unavailable there.The vocal assistant didn't seem to understand english, no instructions were presents in the room to help. I couldn't assist the Tianmen Fox Fairy show -the main reason I booked this hotel and room- because I had to ask "at least a day before"... very convenient when you stay for a night only...The food was good.

服务很好，只是没有接待员会说英语。我不得不寻求另一位顾客的帮助，这对于一家五星级酒店来说有点蹩脚。房间非常好，干净，床也很完美。我很伤心没有VPN，这对你从欧洲来真的很不方便，因为你可能没有微信，所以你习惯使用的所有网站在那里都无法使用。语音助手似乎听不懂英语，房间里没有提供任何帮助的说明。我无法协助观看天门狐仙表演——这是我预订这家酒店和房间的主要原因——因为我必须“至少提前一天”询问……当你只住一晚时非常方便……食物很好。

當晚捉的時間停課，房間很大，很舒適，很適合親子一家，入睡。前發現床單污跡，通知服務員馬上回來更換，動作很快，服務員很好，满道歉意，的確清潔程度是有待改善。整體上很滿意

整體上，是不錯的，特別是位置非常好。但酒店始終有年期了，以現在的5星標準，感覺上會有點不足。如果酒店翻新，相信會更加吸引客人。早餐，也是不錯，中式款式較多，但西式的就略嫌有點不足。如果我再來張家界，應該也會入住。

The hotel has a very old vibe and it’s not something u want if u are used to 5 star services. Guest are actually allowed to smoke everywhere in the hotel, or at least not called out for stop which is not great for someone who dislikes the smell. Would not recommend. You can find better 5 star hotels

Horrible hotel dont stay here. They have no air conditioning in all the rooms. Is so sweating hot inside. I would rate them zero star. I was cheated. Very basic comfort they cannot provide. I dont understand why CTrip strongly recommend this cheating hotel.

糟糕的酒店不要住在这里。所有房间都没有空调。里面热得冒汗。我会给他们零星评价。我被骗了。他们无法提供非常基本的舒适感。我不明白为什么携程强烈推荐这家坑蒙拐骗的酒店。

I want to thank the enthusiastic and helpful housekeeper (a woman) who quickly brought a fan to cool down my room during the hot weather, as there was a temperature problem in the room, even though I forgot her name. The breakfast had a good variety. However, I encountered a couple of problems during my stay. Communicating was difficult due to the language barrier with the front desk staff, which was frustrating. However, one guy at the front desk tried to speak English with me as I don't know Chinese ( Thank you). Despite requesting a non-smoking room, there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke, which was inconvenient and not what I expected. I suggest raising these concerns to the management to improve future guests' experiences.

Good stay. Located in the heart of Zhangjiajie City Centre. Tianmen mountain Cable 🚠 station nearby.
