张家界闽南（粤海）国际酒店

Stayed two nights as part of an organised cycling tour of Hunan Provence. The hotel meets all the requirements for western visitors. Although the rooms were not as clean as they should be and even the non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke. The reception staff were largely indifferent to us. On our first night a girl persistently knocked at my door when I opened the door ajar she tried to push her way in, I shut the door quickly. She was clearly a prostitute. I had read about cards being slipped under the door but this was much worse. I had our guide complain to reception the next day.||The hotel is located on the main road a short taxi journey from the centre of Zhangjaijie. But the the immediate area around the hotel is just functional and a little run down. Not a great area.||The hotel seemed to be popular with Chinese tourists but I would recommend western tourists seek a more western international hotel in a more central location.

作为湖南普罗旺斯有组织的自行车之旅的一部分，在这里住了两晚。酒店满足西方游客的所有要求。虽然房间没有应有的干净，甚至非吸烟房间也有烟味。接待人员对我们基本上漠不关心。我们的第一个晚上，一个女孩坚持敲我的门，当我半开着门时，她试图推门而入，我很快就把门关上了。她分明是个妓女。我读过有关卡片被塞到门下的报道，但这更糟糕。第二天我让我们的导游向接待处投诉。 ||酒店位于主干道上，距离张家界市中心仅有很短的出租车车程。但酒店周围的区域功能齐全，而且有点破旧。不是一个很棒的区域。||这家酒店似乎很受中国游客欢迎，但我建议西方游客在更中心的位置寻找一家更西方的国际酒店。

酒店大概位于当地靠近市中心的位置，总体印象非常好，特色是服务好，房间环境好。服务方面比如说，前台服务态度很好。房间内部大部分都是有网线，网速也不错。房间空间比较大，大概有20多平方米，环境方面的话，房间装修是商务类型的。地理位置地段一般，不过出行是比较方便的。

张家界最好的酒店，它是上了最高星级的，我们是集体在这里住的。它是在市区里面，到景区我开车过去也就是十分钟左右，酒店里停车很方便，地下停车场有三层，上面有小停车场。它的服务相当到位，房间还可以，二十四小时热水，电视设施也比较齐全，我们也没住高档房，公司统一搞一个活动，住的双人间。装修就是普通的风格，没有张家界民族风格，是挺现代的。有提供早餐，我三天都在这里吃的早餐，还算是比较丰富的，自助餐的形式，有当地的口味也有大众的口味。整个酒店没有张家界的特色，没有融入到里面，别的地方还是不错的。

Unfortunately, we stayed at the old wing. The room was spacious and clean, though the furniture looked rather old-fashioned. The air-conditioner was centralised, and we could not control the temperature. It was rather warm, and it did not help that the air only blew one direction. The beds were rather hard too. The baths had not been refurbished ... they still used the tub and shower curtains. The complementary breakfast was served buffet style, and the food spread was rather elaborate.

不幸的是，我们住在旧翼楼。房间宽敞干净，只是家具看上去有些老式。空调是集中式的，我们无法控制温度。天气相当暖和，而且风只向一个方向吹，这也于事无补。床也很硬。浴室还没有翻新……他们仍然使用浴缸和浴帘。免费早餐是自助式的，食物的选择相当精致。

Like most of the hotels in Zhang Jia Jie you come went there to see the mountains. The photos in the brochure are for the more expensive room stay. ||||If you do not smoke when you book this hotel please ensure you state none smoking room. Most hotels in China allow smoking. ||||Please note there is no free wifi but there is a plug to plug your computer in. Please ensure you have at least one device that can use an Ethernet port which is free. ||||I stayed in the old rooms which were a little bit old down however was still reasonable. The hotel includes complementary breakfast and parking (check with your booking about parking). The breakfast is buffet style and mostly Chinese food. The western food is mostly fruits and bread. ||||I would recommend trying to famous Zhang Jia Jie, Hunan special noodles. ||||The hotel includes tourism group next to the front counter. You can pre buy tickets and etc. One thing to note is there will always be upsale. So if you want to go see a specific mountain they will always recommend you to use their guide. If you really want a guide I recommend either do it at the hotel or pre organise. Once you reach your location everyone will attempt to be your tourist guide. I can't verify if the tourist counter can speak English because my friends spoke to them. ||||At night I recommend locking your door and if someone knows on your door to provide foot massage. Kindly say thank you, but no thanks and calmly close the door. ||||I would recommend driving to your location or taking tourist bus because there is no subway in Zhang Jia Jie. ||||I also had dinner at this hotel in one of their private rooms. Always remember that in a private room for dinner the toilet is next to door.||||A Chinese custom is to always wash there plates and cutlery (chopsticks, fork and spoons) in Chinese tea or hot water. So most restaurants always include a bowel so you can wash these in. This includes sealed plates and cutlery. I recommend doing the same to ensure they are clean. The dinner is served chinese and most people BYO.

I had the misfortune of staying here because a travel agent booked the hotel for me. The hotel stunk of smoke, the staff didn't speak any English (despite it being called an international hotel), and my room was not clean. The carpet didn't feel clean to walk on, paint was peeling off walls, the bathroom was gross, and they charged me 5rmb to use the pack of toiletries provided at the hotel. We tried to go to breakfast at 8:30, but it was already over! The only redeeming quality of this hotel was that it had an air conditioning unit in the room that worked well.

我很不幸住在这里，因为旅行社帮我预订了酒店。酒店散发着烟味，工作人员不会说英语（尽管它被称为国际酒店），而且我的房间不干净。地毯走起来感觉不干净，墙壁上的油漆剥落，浴室很糟糕，他们要我花 5 元使用酒店提供的一包洗漱用品。我们本来想8:30去吃早餐，但是已经结束了！这家酒店唯一的可取之处是房间里有一台运转良好的空调。

The hotel rooms are fairly good size, but it's quite worn out. Lots of mould in the shower room, will give a thumb down on cleanliness. Breakfast taste quite terrible. Not a good hotel for ladies. Parking is convenient and hotel is about 15 minutes from airport. Good enough simply for a sleep.

酒店房间面积还算不错，但是很破旧。 淋浴间里有很多霉菌，对清洁度会产生负面影响。 早餐味道相当糟糕。对于女士来说不是一个好的酒店。停车方便，酒店距机场约15分钟路程。 仅仅为了睡觉就足够了。

Ok after traveling a few days around Zhangjiajie and Wulingyuan area, this is the first hotel I've stayed at that had all the modern amenities and had little to no smell of cigarette smoke on premise. The beds were clean and comfy and the showers were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
