We had a good stay in Huaihua. We enjoyed the relaxed basic lifestyle of the people in Huaihua. We stayed for 2 nights at the Railway hotel. It once used to be a beautiful hotel. Currently we felt it slightly dirty, but we can still recommend an easy overnight here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They cleaned the room. The bed was in fact very comfortable.

The location was good and bad at once. Its located directly next to the city center with many restaurants and bars. But the superior deluxe room, which we had, is orientated to the railway station and its loud during the whole night. Also the walls in the hotel seem not very thick. The room we're really clean and had everything you need for a good price.
