Perfect stay as always expected from Bonvoy Marriot chain. The location was convenient and price value for money. The rooms were very comfortable and the housekeeping staff were really friendly. She even remembered us, when we went away to Wuyishan for 1 night, and left our room empty for 2 days. The bellhop, Mr. Pocket Lu gave the best service with a smile. He went out of his way to help us with our taobao order. Two thumbs up for him.

After a long flight and finally arrived in Xiamen. Upon checking in, immediately and warmly greeted by Larkin Liu and what a wonderful check in experience that was at the Courtyard Xiamen Haicang. Additionally, Larkin and his staff Yana also provided me with above and beyond assistance to make my stay here even more enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with good price.|share the gym/swimming pool/ breakfast with Marriott. means you can use better facility by lower price. very good deal.||outside of the Xiamen island, it's a good choise if your trip is not in the city. travel to city downtown via the Haicang bridge.

Wonderful staff. Don't think I ever felt more cared for. (Buffet breakfast is awesome too!) We just go looked after, nothing we needed was too much trouble. The view across the bay is outstanding, from a room or from the pool! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue if you need somewhere to stay in Xiamen.

房間非常大，最普通的房型都有個半海景，衛生不錯，位置也方便，在新開發的商業區，比島內好多了。員工非常熱情，特別是Yana 和 Larkin👍👍👍

This was my second stay in this hotel.||The hotel is a pure luxury and the service levels are exceptional. From the check in staff, to the room service staff, everyone is just so eager to please you.||The breakfast is very luxurious with a huge selection of dishes. Live kitchen to make omlettes is a huge boon. ||The quality of internet, rooms etc., is spectacular. I had a booked a king room with the lake view and it was amazing.||I would always use this hotel whenever I have to visit Xiamen or Zhangzhou city.

Okay, but much better options exist if you have the money and book in advance.First of all, its a separate class of hotel situated within the very same Marriot (which is higher end), so consider this a class below the actual Marriot. The exit is separate, and leads mostly to nowhere, and you will most likely enter the real Marriot part of the building at first, but thankfully staff knows this is a common mistake and leads you through a small hallway of about 200m to the other reception where you will be greeted by just as professional staff.They don't include any toiletries but will deliver them swiftly to the room door if you need any, I guess its ecological, in their mind, but practically..ultimately pointless and saves no one's time and energy.The room itself is a bit of a step down from regular 4* chain hotels - the size, the leather on the furniture is torn and worn a bit, and it shows its age and class. There are similarly priced competitors within the same 1-2km range, who do a much better job, plus better view, for a few bucks more. It should be priced a bit lower in order to be a good deal and vibe for the money. Ultimately an okay hotel, no one will be disappointed, but the value to me just isn't there, and the real Marriot is in the same building, but you are getting the cheaper version of it, watered down.
