金冠酒店

A small group of photographers stayed four nights at the Kaili Crown Plaza while we visited the many nearby Miao ethnic villages and spent a day at the huge annual Miao Sister's Meal festival. Kaili is the only base of any size for touring this area. The hotel is managed by a man who use to be a guide and speaks English pretty well. Since most of the staff do not speak English he was almost always close at hand while we were there to sort out any complications. The hotel was full on the day before and day of the festival. A large group from Australia also was there for the festival as well as many Chinese tourists. ||||The hotel listed a number of floors as non-smoking but two of our rooms smelled strongly of smoke. Since the hotel was full the rooms could not be changed. We tried leaving a window open but it didn't help very much. The rooms on the front of the hotel face the town athletic stadium and plaza where there are night markets and various daytime events. It was always interesting for a stroll after dinner. There were two or three good restaurants within a short walk from the hotel as well as small grocery stores to buy bananas or candy bars very inexpensively. ||||The rooms were basic but clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly with smiles. Any request, once the manager translated for them, was quickly fulfilled. ||||The included breakfast was fine for Chinese guests but minimal for westerners. They didn't get the concept of cold orange juice so it was served warm every morning and sometimes the coffee was cool. Bread was the Wonder bread variety. There was always fruit, especially watermelon and oranges. No one starved but it was basic. ||||One unique feature of the hotel was the call each evening to all of the group's rooms at about 9 or 10 p.m. When an English speaking person answered the caller hung up. We were told by our guide that the call was from prostitutes offering in-room massages. He tried to get the calls stopped but only with limited success to some rooms. We were a well traveled group but everyone agreed this was a first. ||||Given the limited number of hotels in Kaili I would recommend this hotel. It is clean and well managed (except for the nightly calls). It was very quiet all but one night when there was a concert on the plaza and that didn't go too late. The beds are firm as they are everywhere in China but not so hard as to cause back problems like in some places. It seems to be in a safe neighborhood that everyone felt safe strolling around at night. They are definitely trying to attain western standards to appeal to more western tourists.

一小群摄影师在凯里皇冠假日酒店住了四个晚上，而我们则参观了附近的许多苗族村庄，并在一年一度的盛大苗姐饭节上度过了一天。凯里是该地区唯一的大型旅游基地。酒店由一位曾经担任导游的男士管理，英语说得很好。由于大多数工作人员不会说英语，当我们在那里解决任何问题时，他几乎总是在附近。节日前一天和节日当天酒店都爆满了。来自澳大利亚的一大群游客以及许多中国游客也来参加了这个节日。 ||||酒店将许多楼层列为禁烟楼层，但我们的两个房间有浓烈的烟味。由于酒店已满，无法更换房间。我们尝试打开窗户，但没有多大帮助。酒店前面的客房面朝镇上的体育场和广场，那里设有夜市和各种日间活动。饭后散步总是很有趣。从酒店步行不远就有两到三家不错的餐厅，还有小杂货店，可以非常便宜地购买香蕉或糖果。 ||||房间很基本但很干净。客房服务人员很友好，面带微笑。一旦经理为他们翻译，任何要求都会很快得到满足。 ||||包含的早餐对于中国客人来说还不错，但对于西方人来说就很少了。他们不明白冷橙汁的概念，所以每天早上都是温热的，有时咖啡是凉的。面包是奇迹面包品种。总是有水果，尤其是西瓜和橙子。没有人挨饿，但这是基本的。 ||||酒店的一个独特之处是每天晚上 9 点或 10 点左右给团体的所有房间打电话。当一个说英语的人接听电话时，电话就挂断了。导游告诉我们，电话是提供室内按摩服务的妓女打来的。他试图让电话停止，但在某些房间收效甚微。我们是一个经常旅行的团队，但每个人都认为这是第一次。 ||||鉴于凯里的酒店数量有限，我会推荐这家酒店。它很干净并且管理良好（除了夜间通话）。除了一天晚上广场上有一场音乐会外，一切都非常安静，而且还不算太晚。床很硬，在中国随处可见，但不像某些地方那样硬到会引起背部问题。 这似乎是一个安全的社区，每个人晚上在附近散步都感到安全。他们肯定正在努力达到西方标准以吸引更多西方游客。

Our travel agent had warned us that they hadn't inspected this property personally but that it was the best in the area. No-one at reception spoke English but our guide was on hand to translate for us. There was a very smartly uniformed bell boy but his role seemed to be simply to photocopy our passports and not to handle our luggage. Our room was a reasonable size and clean except for the dirty stained carpet. We found that the window had been left open, presumably to get rid of cigarette smells but we didn't notice any. The furnishings were very basic and utilitarian but there was a kettle and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The bathroom definitely needed some work as there was a lot of mildew round the bath. Our room looked out over a stadium and a large area that was no more than a building site which was being dug up. We couldn't discover what it was going to become. As we arrived late we decided to eat in the restaurant and our guide helped with translating the menu. Unfortunately the food was virtually inedible - the rice luke warm and the beef so gristly we had to leave it all. At breakfast there was, not unexpectedly, mainly Chinese food but there was fruit, eggs and some bread for toasting.

这个酒店很好，是新装修的，所以整体感觉很干净，给人的感觉非常舒适。并且房间里面的装修是比较简约的现代风格，是我比较喜欢的，而且每个房间里面都有配备电脑，这个很方便。地理位置不是很好，周边没有什么大型的超市，但是我感觉酒店里面的环境很舒适，服务也不错，该提供的服务都提供了。

整体感觉还行，对面就是一个民族馆，如果是来旅游的话，那个酒店是最佳的选择。交通比较方便，乘车都比较方便。房间还是比较舒适的，整体的布局比较不错。酒店摆放的东西比较有民族气息，设计风格比较大众化一点。服务也包含着一些民族特色，感觉挺好的。性价比还行，我自己感觉还行，要是有朋友过来的话，当然会推荐这家酒店的。

这个酒店是近一两年刚建的酒店，酒店比较新，酒店的设备也是全新的。酒店的服务还比较好，这个酒店有一个优点，那就是有一些专业的英文翻译服务人员，这个酒店有一些外国人入住所以很方便。酒店的地理位置也比较好，旁边有体育馆，酒店的位置是在这附近的开发区域是最好的地段。酒店周围的环境也比较好。价格还可以。酒店有提供餐饮。在当地讲酒店的大厅还算是比较好的。

环境很好，设施比较干净。地理位置很好，酒店对面就是凯里市最大的体育馆，而且交通很方便，打车远的地方也就十块钱就到了，旁边也有ktv和饭店。服务态度也挺好的，服务员比较礼貌。房间空间大小很合适，硬件设施也不错。

我们住的是豪华套房，里面的面积非常的大。打完折的价格比较实惠，房间的住宿条件很好，里面床的面积很宽敞，可以睡到四五个人的样子。但在房间里面入住，还会接收到骚扰电话。而且地理位置太偏了，不是在市区里面到凯里了，是在新区里面的新酒店，周围环境就一般般了。因为本身城市不富裕，打车的话不是很好打，而且坐车有时候司机还会乱收费。

This hotel was disappointing in many ways. It was loud, both from outside and interior noise. It was dirty, in both the bathroom and bedroom. It smelled like smoke on the non-smoking floor. The evening desk clerk spoke NO English.||There were some nice employees there, at the bar and at breakfast, who went out of their way, with very little English, to help us. Still, if we go back to that area, I would try very hard to stay somewhere else.
