We spent one night at the hotel which was very near our friend's apartment. This hotel registers foreigners. The room was adequate, but nothing fancy. A place to sleep, take a shower and change clothes. We did not use the TV at all. A "continental" breakfast was provided at no extra charge, but we did not take advantage of it as we had breakfast with our friend and her family. The only problem we had was that the shower drain was slow, so it almost overflowed into the rest of the bathroom, so you need to turn off the shower at times to let it drain. If you just want an inexpensive place to spend the night while visiting Chongqing, it is alright.
