杨凌国际会展中心酒店

感觉不错，住着还不错，就是卫生间里面的设施有一点陈旧。设施比较落后。听着酒店的名字感觉里面的设施应该挺上档次的，但是卫生间设施像是十几年前的，和它的名字很不相符。这家地理位置算是市中心吧。不吵也不乱，就是设施有点落伍，外表看起来比较不错。早餐还差不错，住宿的话早餐是免费的，ktv设施也有点落伍。那个餐厅还不错，服务还挺到位的，就是感觉它们的饭菜太贵了，收费是按星级的收，服务达不到星级的服务，喊服务员添茶水啊喊半天。感觉管理上就有问题。

A nice western style hotel in the Yangling District about 1 hour by car or train west of Xi'an city. The city is home to Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University and is smallish town by Chinese standards. As several reviewers have noted, this is a western style hotel in China but it is not a western hotel and so it is a nice compromise for some familiarity in a spacious western style room with a Chinese atmosphere. The beds and room are spacious with working desk and cloth lounge chair. Ample closet space is provided. A television with about 60 stations (2 with English including HBO) and decent wireless and Ethernet internet access (a bit slow and variable). Some hotels have both 220 and 110 electrical outlets but this hotel does not and so bring your outlet adaptor and converter if your laptop, phone or other electronics do not already have one built in (most relative new items do). Bathroom is western style with a nice shower. My unit had a minifridge with sodas and juices for purchase. Complimentary tea is provided. One only drinks bottled or boiled water in China and the water from the tap must be boiled in the electric kettle provided (it only takes 2-3 min) in just about every hotel room in China. I suggest purchases the breakfast buffet for about US$8 for it is a nice mix of Chinese and western style breakfast with a chef available to make eggs as you wish. The hotel has several restaurants/coffee shops within or nearby. Location is in a newly renovated part of town but not walking distance from very many places of interest...a bus stop is located out front and taxis come by every 10 mins or so during the day...both are very inexpensive and taxis are the way to get around town if you wish. Hotel staff speak a modest amount of English to provide some assistance; maid service occurred daily and laundry service is also available. Overall a solid good to very good experience for business or university visitors; however, not likely a great tourist destination but a great town to experience a bit of smaller city China.

服务包括吃饭都可以。一日三餐都是在酒店吃的，味道还可以。房间空间个人感觉还不如如家好呢，装修挺不错，但是我个人不太喜欢那种风格，我比较喜欢如家的风格和颜色。属于开发区，一般人是不会去的如果是出差才会去，离西安比较远，有将近100公里，交通还是比较方便的，汽车和动车都有。毕竟是4星级的，服务态度还比较好。吃饭的时候，服务员的态度都很好的。有展会的时候就很少能订上房间的。

I stayed here for a conference in April and it was quiet, clean, and the food was good. We had breakfast buffet everyday that was good. We also had a dinner and lunch here that were excellent. The town is a college town and not a tourist center, It is an agriculture university and the town reminded me of many other college towns I've been to. Beds in China are hard by western standards and these were typical. The hot water had a high mineral content, like it was from a hot spring. I rinsed my hair with cold water and it was fine. Bottled water was available in the business office off the lobby.

地理位置在黄金地段，在市区的中心位置，交通挺方便的，离火车站有三里路1.5公里。没有在里面用过餐。周边用餐挺方便的，酒店住宿用餐都有的。感觉服务周到，做的好。人性化设计好，以人为本。酒店的管理理念也挺好的。装潢马马虎虎的。卫生方面感觉还可以，这个酒店在杨凌是最大的酒店了。

I find it quite difficult evaluating this hotel, as one has to take into account that it is in China. In some respects, it is far off from a 4-star hotel in a western country; in other respects it is just as good. Here a few impressions:||- the room I had was very spacious and comfortable - definitely 4-star equivalent. Although the room was reasonably clean (although the windows were filthy), I did have some encounters with cockroaches... You cannot drink the water out of the taps, so the hotel provides you with some drinking water - although not much.||- Forget international TV - there is one channel that shows English-speaking films, but no CNN, BBC, etc.||- The wireless LAN only really works in the lobby area - and even there it is incredibly slow. ||- The food is generally ok - on the 2nd floor there is a dinning room that primarily caters for Chinese tastes (a Chinese breakfast is very different from a Western one). On the first floor there is a restaurant that caters for Western tastes - I tried both and I have no complaints, although the choice of food in the "Western restaurant" is someone limited.||- the staff is friendly, although language is a definite barrier. Very few of the staff speak any English at all, so it is virtually impossible to communicate. So ordering room service is quite an ordeal, if not outright impossible. My wife could not even get the call connected to my room because they apparently did not understand her. And my wake-up call was totally misunderstood (but there is an alarm clock in the room, so that problem can be solved). Personally, I find this quite charming, i.e. being in a country where English is not spoken at all... But just be prepared.||- if you do not do so in any case, then I would strongly recommend that you take a first-aid kit along with a few basic things. Chinese food is excellent, but Westerns often get stomach problems when eating real Chinese food (i.e. not the stuff we get in Europe or the USA :) ). And it is really difficult quickly going to a pharmacy to buy something (once again: language is a hurdle). ||- If you value a smoke-free environment, then you are in for a hard time: smoking is permitted nearly everywhere, and there are a lot of smokers around.||||I enjoyed my stay and I can recommend this hotel, although it is not your typical 4-star hotel. You are in China - which is what made my stay so enjoyable.

08年10月份去的陕西杨凌，听朋友介绍这家酒店口碑不错，因此就尝试去入住一番。酒店大堂很气派，西北地区民风淳朴，从酒店这一方面看到这些年中国大西北的发展神速。当晚入住的是豪华大床房，1.8M的床宽温馨又舒适，里面的设施简洁又别有格调，睡眠质量蛮好，第二天早上酒店还赠送了丰富的早餐 ，服务很细致贴心，推荐这家酒店，非常不错噢！

This hotel is in a rather uninteresting area, near agricultural and other educational facilities. It is used by business people and students primarily. Not a very touristy area. We stayed here in order to visit some Greenhouses and agricultural areas. The hotel is very nice; friendly, clean, good food and very nice rooms. Wi Fi is available free in lobby.||I probably would not stay here again if a tourist, but the facility is fine; area is not too interesting for a tourist.
