华山华鑫国际酒店

We booked this hotel with booking.com when the hostel, where our private room was booked, turned out to have been closed for a month (Huashan Mountain Baolianju International Youth Hostel). We also had some trouble checking in, the receptionist spoke no English. Then a manager(?) who spoke reasonable English turned up but he wasn't sure about our booking- the price was much lower than the listed room rate and we wondered if he wanted to charge us more. Finally another man came out with our booking showing on his phone. We had to pay cash as well as a 200 RMB deposit (keep your receipt- you get this back at the end). There is a money machine outside to the right of the hotel.||The room was fairly dated, but reasonably clean and spacious. It had all the amenities you needed including shampoo, slippers, wifi. The air conditioning heated the room OK too. It was very quiet- very few guests at all. The drain in our shower wasn't working so the shower filled up. We tried to explain to the receptionist the next day using a mobile phone app and after some misunderstandings, she understood and the problem was fixed. There are a number of restaurants nearby (turn right out of the hotel then right again). No one speaks English and they all want their photos taken with you. We had some very cheap meals and some more expensive ones- but all very delicious. We walked to the North railway station from the hotel- about 15-20 mins. All in all, we thought this was good value for money- not fancy but it did the trick if you want to visit Mt Huashan.||Taxis twice took us to the wrong hotel- it seems there is another hotel with a similar name, so take care.

We stayed in Huayin town to be near Huashan (Mt Hua). This hotel is about 2 hours from Xi’an city center. It is a short drive to the visitor center of Huashan National Park. All visitors to Huashan need to use the park’s dedicated buses to one of the two the cable car stations.||||The hotel’s service is ok. The receptionist spoke mainly Chinese, loudly. The hotel is at the main street. Our room did not face the main street – so we did not get any traffic noise. Our guide’s room faced the main street and there was traffic noise.||||We requested for a non-smoking room. Although there is no obvious cigarette smell, there was no freshness or fragrance. The air conditioner does give out a whirring sound – so light sleepers should bring ear plugs. The bed is king size, and mattress is firm. The en suite bathroom is medium sized. Basic toiletries are provided. The cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom is just OK. There are sufficient power outlets in the room.||||There is a limited variety of food for breakfast – mostly carbohydrates and local Chinese food. There is a noodle station. ||||One block away from the hotel is a food street. The restaurants serve local Chinese food and customers smoke in the restaurants. The menu has limited English words. We ordered a dish that said in Chinese ‘chicken xx’ (where xx is something we did not understand). It turned out to be gizzard cooked in fresh chilli, ground chilli, chilli oil and peppercorn. We could not stomach the dish.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We stayed one night while visiting Mt. Huashan and really only needed a convenient place to sleep and store our bags for the day. Check-in was a bit tricky as no one at the front desk spoke English but we managed with a mix of hand signals and Google translate. At one point they called a manager for me to speak to on the phone in English, this was helpful! Our room was better than expected, a bit dated (especially the carpet) but the beds were good and the bathroom was actually quite nice. No smell of smoke in the room and not too much street noise coming in from the outside. The hotel is very convenient to the high speed train station and there is a free bus to Mt. Huashan from the station. Nearby food options are limited at night but there is a grocery store down the road.

Rooms are large and comfortable, and everything works, but show signs of abuse by previous guests. There is free wired Internet, but you need your own travel router to get WiFi for iPad etc. Sound insulation is not great so you can hear traffic on the road and other guests in the corridor. I had two good nights' sleep thanks to earplugs.|I do not recommend the breakfast, and I am not sure there is a dinner service. There are excellent restaurants one block away. |Check in and check out was slow and frustrating, and I was insulted that reception felt to need to check the room to ensure I had not stolen the kettle.|The hotel was cheap and adequate for my needs on that trip, but I would not return in a hurry.

酒店内抽烟人很多，连服务人员都有抽。电梯设计不合理，第一晚老停电，马桶不通，冰箱不制冷，地毯有污点，早餐又贵又差。走廊的电灯设计有问题，老是黑乎乎的。无线信号时断时续，不知哪个工作。前台虽然努力，还需培训，只给一张门卡，不方便。停车场还算方便。||电源未接地，澡水冷热不分。||附近的小吃街没有什么好选择。离景点不远。This hotel is close to many tourist sites. However, toilet and fridge did not work. Breakfast is expensive and lack of quality.

Hotel is ok, near the high-speed train station - 10 minutes by foot. If you are coming by bus or train to old station - take a taxi(ask to turn on taximeter as it should cost around 11rnb). |Manager , the only person who speaks english, was Very helpful- bought us tickets to the mountains, explained how to get everywhere we wanted, even helped us with tickets to Beijing. |There is a street of restaurants close to the hotel(get out the hotel, go right for a few minutes and turn right again- hard to miss. At the end of the restaurant street, if you turn right again snd walk for a few minutes you'll find huge shopping mall- fruits, beers&other stuff is cheaper there than in tiny street shops) |Hotel itself- not fancy but ok for a couple of nights.

Looking for a place to eat in Huashan was stressful as a lot of restaurants only had Chinese menus so we figured hotels would be our best bet when looking for something in English.||We stumbled across this hotel and tried out their menu. We ate the King Po Chicken with rice and not only was it delicious but also very cheap. In addition, the hotel manager- Wang Shang Li- spoke okay English (Enough to communicate on a basic level which is more than we had found anywhere else).||If you are in Huashan and are not sure where to eat check out this place! I am as fussy as they come and it suited me fine.

在华山寻找吃饭的地方是有压力的，因为很多餐馆只有中文菜单，所以我们认为在寻找英文菜单时酒店将是我们最好的选择。||我们偶然发现了这家酒店并尝试了他们的菜单。我们吃了王婆鸡配米饭，不仅好吃而且很便宜。此外，酒店经理王尚利的英语说得很好（足以进行基本的交流，这比我们在其他地方找到的要多）。||如果您在华山并且不知道去哪里吃饭，请查看这家地方！我和他们一样挑剔，这很适合我。

在华山脚下，房间里的设施不太好，很旧很老化了。我们想看电视的时候，那个电视都是坏的。我们起码换了2，3个房间，但是服务员的服务态度还是挺好的，态度也挺诚恳的。最后我都不好意思再换房间了，结果还是没看成电视。那里的空气还是非常好的。
