Jw Marriott Hotel Xi'An

The JW marriott is a beautiful hotel! I absolutely loved all the interior design of the hotel, the tall ceilings and grey stone. The room was so so beautiful, with amazing views onto the city. It felt very spacious and open but with the possibility for privacy as well. The food is amazing, although I would't recommend any of the western dishes, better to stick with the Chinese food as that is what they know best. Western food we tried one time and it tasted pre made and frozen. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were nice as well. ||One criticism I would give, although it seemed to be the case in a few hotels around China, the pool should have a 'no kids' time (e.g from 8-10 pm) because we specifically booked that hotel to enjoy the beautiful pool with the views but every time we went up there it was full of screaming children. Additionally, spa facilities like jacuzzi and sauna should be off limits to young children as they are supposed to be a relaxing area and the one time I went it was like a play zone. I never went back. Similarly, the gym is not a safe space for children and I saw many young kids playing with the equipment which disrupted my workout and made me very anxious they could get hurt. The gym is not a place for children and should be off limits. ||I would still highly recommend this hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. I don't recommend to go in August however because everywhere is busy and crowded.

Exceptional from Checkin to check out. The lobby on the 38th floor introduces you to the metropolis that is Xian. Our room was on the 35th floor and we opted for the Executive Lounge access (located on the 34th floor). The room was very spacious and well appointed. A luxurious rain head shower, state of the art toilet, large soaking bath. Beautiful stone in the bathroom and the beds were supremely comfortable and d firm. There are USB charging points beside the bed and all the lights and curtains are electronically controlled. ||The Executive Lounge access included afternoon tea (sandwiches (usually ham) no vegetarian options, fruit and cakes. Soft drink and tea or coffee. Cocktail hour began at 5pm and included a great range of liquor , beer and soft drinks. There was an array of hot dishes with vegetarian options, salad bar, soup and bread, cakes and fruit. The service was always exceptional and the staff tried their best to converse in English. Diana was lovely. ||Breakfast was incredibly extensive and included every possible breakfast item imaginable. ||The hotel is close to Xian North train station which means it’s a long way from the main attractions and great Tang Mall and Giant Goose Pagoda.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. We stayed here twice over the course of a week and the views plus cleanliness of the rooms on the 36/37th floor were amazing. There is a proper gym and pool. Restaurant downstairs very good. Service was exceptional from all staff we encountered. As a bonus, they reached out proactively when they discovered I left items behind. Despite missing their calls on a flight, when I rang back 6 hours later, the night receptionist picked up the task and my items were delivered to me 2 days later. The staff elevate the status of this hotel. Will book JW Marriott hotels for future trips to China.

For sure one of the best hotel ever been! We have loved and enjoyed everything of this hotel from the location to the stunning room till the SPA, the huge and yummy breakfast where you can find whatever you need till the warm welcome when you do the check in. We have loved our room, comfy beds, elegant furnitures, excellent room service.|Joanna and her team are doing a such wonderful job there!|Keep it up, we can't wait to be there again!

酒店雖然不是在市中心，但出入都方便，無論打車或坐地鐵，可能時間需要多一點。但酒店周邊有不同種類嘅餐廳，超級市，十分方便！人流比市中心少，所以更加理想。訂房時購買了含早餐，早餐非常精美，小朋友十分喜歡，而且選擇很多，更有當地特色的食品。下次如果到西安旅行，應該會再次入住。

Best 5 star hotel experience thus far in China. Great value for the dollar (bang for the buck). Room was so big and beautiful views of the Xian city. Very quiet and great sound proofing from the outside world. Surely will come back to this awesome hotel if ever coming back to Xian.

Room – My Panoramic View, King room, sofa bed (42SqM), 3219, was very nice indeed with its marblish decor and brown /black colors. I was told there are only 2 such rooms on each level as they are corner rooms which allow for the double full panel windows offering expansive views of the city. Sounds great, except the exteriors of the windows were quite grimy.||The main bedroom space contains a comfy king bed (lights and blind controls + powerpoints are located here) with generous bedside tables facing a TV. There is a chaise lounge chair + coffee table which was underused during my stay, a really nice and proper work desk + chair. A welcome amenity of fruits and nuts was placed on the table upon my arrival too.||Executive Lounge – the huge space is located on level 36 and similar to the main lobby, enjoys plenty of natural lighting throughout the day. ||Evening cocktails (5:00-8:00pm) – food options seeing 4 hot items (meats, veg), a soup, a small DIY salad section, pastries + breads, a tiny selection of (lukewarm) cheeses, desserts. Quality was only so-so with the soup sadly very bland on both sessions I tried (weird given that they have a proper Chinese restaurant). Upscale hotel, conveniently attached to a shopping mall with lots of eating options.|Beautifully appointed rooms with equally good breakfast offerings.|You will find many cheaper hotels but if you’re visiting Xi’an I would highly recommended
