When trying to find a hotel in N.E China you have to expect that things are different then when you are at home. We have travelled to N.E. China (Heilongjiang Province) about every 6 months for the last few years so we know.||You can imagine our surprise when we arrived at the hotel to find that the manager spoke good English and the staff that could not speak English were more than willing to help get a translation to be able to help with inquiries.||As for the hotel itself it is extremely clean and tidy with great value rooms, Cheap in fact.||In the immediate area there was easy access to buses and taxis as well as being about 1 kilometre to either of two major shopping centres. There are restaurants behind the hotel that stays open until late as well as a small shop that stays open until about 11pm.||The hotel may not be 5 star but my wife and I will not hesitate to stay there again when we visit Daqing again next year.It is the best "budget" hotel that we have stayed in during our visits to Heilongjiang Province.
