元阳国际青年旅舍

We spent one night there but unfortunately there was no electricity, so we couldn't charge phones, cameras nor have light in the room/bathroom. Not very convenient.||||We managed to get some food but they didn't have all the choice on the menu, we could only get fried rice or dumplings. ||||The rooms were clean, and people were nice. The environment is good, the vue from the hostel is beautiful and there is a nice village few meters down. ||But I don't think I would recommend this place and I plan to go back to Yuanyang soon, but I won't stay in this hostel.||||Oh and we had to pay 100¥ to be able to drive there and enter the rice field area. I tried to bargain and explain that we were just going to our hostel, but they said you have to pay a fee or you can't enter. Great.

We had actually booked the Sunflower Trekker's Lodge right next door, but when we arrived it was locked and boarded! Since it was low season many guesthouse were closed. The Yuanyang International Youth Hostel is located right near the minibus drop off point in Pugao/duoishu. This makes it really easy to get up and see the rice terraces at sunrise but also to take your backpack/luggage to your hostel.||The facilities are similar to other YHA hostels in China and our double bed was comfortable but our room was very small (oddly the two of us, as the only guests were put in a very small room but when a guy by himself showed up, he got a much larger room!). We were given a discount due to low hot water pressure and were very happy with this since the water did not bother us much at all! The food is delicious although many/most items were not available due to low season and the hostel not purchasing much.||The issue was really the service that is making me rate this hostel so much lower. The guy at the front desk was really sweet and interesting to talk to, however this didn't cut it. We really needed/wanted information on hikes in the area as that was what we came to Yuanyang for. Both the really nice guy and the incredibly useless girl at the front desk are not from the area. Therefore, we mainly had to do walks on the road and find our own paths (didn't want to do too much of this for fear of trampling the rice terraces). I found this so disappointing! The guy did his best but the hostel really needs to up their game in this respect. Also, We stayed for three nights and not once did they clean our room. Now, I know this is common practice for short stays at YHA locations, however, I have never been somewhere where they don't even enter to empty the garbage!!!||In low season, this may be there best option, but otherwise, I recommend staying somewhere else especially if you want guidance on hiking in the area.

我们实际上已经预订了隔壁的向日葵徒步旅行者小屋，但当我们到达时，它已经锁上并登上了！由于是淡季，很多宾馆都关门了。远洋国际青年旅舍位于普高/多树的小巴下车点附近。这使得起床看日出时的梯田变得非常容易，而且还可以轻松地将背包/行李带到您的旅舍。 ||设施与中国其他 YHA 旅舍类似，我们的双人床很舒服，但我们的房间很小（奇怪的是我们两个人，因为唯一的客人被安排在一个非常小的房间里，但是当一个人独自出现时，他得到了一个更大的房间！）。由于热水压力低，我们获得了折扣，对此我们非常满意，因为水根本没有打扰我们！食物很美味，尽管由于淡季，很多/大多数物品都没有供应，而且旅馆没有购买太多东西。||问题实际上是服务让我对这家旅馆的评价如此之低。前台的那个人真的很友善，交谈起来很有趣，但这并没有减少。我们真的需要/想要有关该地区徒步旅行的信息，因为这就是我们来元阳的目的。前台的那个非常好的小伙子和那个非常没用的女孩都不是这个地区的。所以，我们主要是在路上散步，自己找路（不想做太多，怕踩坏梯田）。我发现这太令人失望了！这家伙尽力了，但旅馆确实需要在这方面提高水平。此外，我们住了三个晚上，他们一次也没有打扫过我们的房间。现在，我知道这是在 YHA 地点短期住宿的常见做法，但是，我从来没有去过他们甚至不进入倒垃圾的地方！||在淡季，这可能是最好的选择，但是否则，我建议您住在其他地方，特别是如果您需要在该地区徒步旅行的指导。

这是今年才开的新店。地理位置很方便，客栈在大马路边上，下车走几步就到了。|麻雀虽小，五脏俱全。店里还设有小酒吧、餐厅，房间简单但舒适。服务也很周到，前台小刘是个热心的姑娘，吧台小伙又能烧菜又会调酒，最重要的是冷的时候他可以给你煮碗浓浓的热热的姜汤。我个人比较喜这里很有家的味道。提醒朋友们如果现在去正是季节，但是元阳本身潮湿多雾，早上下午要穿厚实点儿才不冷哦。

The room were clean and staff also helpful. The view of hostel terrace very good, we can see the rice fields and mountain. Although at hostel have a small restaurant but the menu is too standard less variation.

房间很干净，工作人员也很乐于助人。旅舍露台的景色很好，可以看到稻田和山。虽然旅馆里有一个小餐厅，但菜单太标准，变化较少。

第一次到这里，据说是新店，车站下车后直接有当地的面包车可以直接到旅舍，旅舍的位置很好，车可以直接到旅舍门口不用再走路，店里面很干净，说实话在这乡村里面找到这家店心里放心很多，它干净、位置好、提供旅游咨询，前台提供的旅游线路也很详细，最主要是床单被套看上去都很干净，房间有温暖的感觉，不用担心卫生问题，很喜欢旅舍的阳台，面朝梯田、云海在阳台上喝着咖啡是件很惬意的事情。

I did not stay at this hotel so I cannot comment on the quality of their accommodation.||But what I can say is that the young female receptionist (Yang Xi Ling) was absolutely kind and helpful when I walked into their premise asking for some necessary assistance.||I will never forget your kindness, thank you sooooo much for your generous help that you gave me!!

The main reason we picked this Hostel was because it was a YHA.||||Rooms were clean and so was the shared bathroom in the dorm room we were in.||The owner managed to book us tickets for the early bus out and one day when it was raining he let us watch movies in the common area, however when we tried to order lunch there were several items that were on the menu that he couldn't provide.||||Also don't be conned into buying the 100RMB ticket when you get the minibus from Xinjie, we managed to get some great views by not even going to the viewing platforms, we just wandered down through the rice terraces and got lost a few times, great place to see the terraces is from the Plaza.

我们选择这家旅舍的主要原因是因为它是一家青年旅舍。||||房间很干净，我们宿舍的共用浴室也很干净。||老板帮我们订了早班车的票，有一天下雨，他让我们在公共区域看电影，但是当我们试图点午餐时，菜单上有几道菜他无法提供。||||也不要被骗到从新街坐小巴的时候买了100元的车票，我们甚至没有去观景台就看到了一些很棒的景色，我们只是在梯田里闲逛，迷路了几次，看梯田的好地方是从广场。
