香格里拉首驿悦青客栈

It's definitely not a hostel but a nice quaint inn which offers a laid back and relaxing place for you to rest after a tiring day touring Shangri-la. I stayed 2 nights in a deluxe King room. Very spacious with a sofa and king bed that comes with bedding heater and a standalone room heater also. The bathroom is also very spacious. Strong wifi. And not to forget the semi-buffet breakfast that comes with Western or Chinese choices. It's a short walk from the carpark outside the Dukezong old town, & a 10min drive from the airport.||Definitely recommend!

这绝对不是一家旅馆，而是一家漂亮古色古香的旅馆，为您在香格里拉游览了一整天后提供一个悠闲放松的休息场所。我在豪华特大号床间住了两晚。非常宽敞，配有沙发和特大号床，配有床上用品加热器和独立的房间加热器。浴室也很宽敞。无线网络信号强。不要忘记半自助早餐，有西式或中式选择。距离独克宗老城外的停车场仅几步之遥，距离机场 10 分钟车程。||绝对推荐！

When you think of a hostel, this is not the kind of place that comes to mind. We stayed here for two nights, and really enjoyed the accommodations. The room was large and clean with lots of windows for natural light. The reception area was nice with a small bar, and a cozy fireplace. The location was great for exploring Shangri-La, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. There is a great view of the temple and the giant prayer wheel from the sitting area on the roof. I would love to return some day!

This hotel appears to have two buildings. We stayed in the upper one which was lovely. Rooms were huge and very comfortable with sitting areas too. A wonderful roof terrace with a view is available. Breakfast was in the other building 5 mins walk away and was very good. There is not much left of the authentic old town but these two are in the undamaged part. Staff couldn't speak English but were still very helpful when our plane was delayed. Restaurants close by.

This is definitely no hostel filled with backpackers. It's a nice, small boutique hotel (as is it's sister hotel, which we also stayed in).||||We spent one night here before heading further west. We booked the double but were kindly upgraded to their Deluxe King Rm which is located in the building opposite to their reception area. The double room we were told was located in the older, main building. I don't know what it is, but you walk into the room and just get a sense of total calm and relaxation. We both loved it and it was spacious. ||||The main building of the hotel is one of the few remaining buildings that hadn’t burnt down in the 2014 fire. I do believe the building our room was in might have been a new construction. The room had a big lovely bathroom – a large shower area and an even larger toilet and vanity area. Though the size of it probably made it a little colder (we were there in March). We were more than happy with the room we had - pity it was only for one night. ||||The breakfast was decent. You had a choice of western or chinese - we chose the latter (I always believe you should eat the local food when you travel, as that's one of the reasons for travelling). I'm sure we enjoyed that far more than if we had opted for the western version. There was also unlimited juices and coffee available. This is all served in their very cosy restaurant (which is also the reception). The hotel is situated close to the main square, but really, nothing is far - we walked to the main town (outside the old town) to look around.||||What we liked here (as with many of the smaller hotels in china) is the friendliness of the staff. The accommodation places realise that dragging suitcases across cobble stones from the carparking areas (outside the old town) is not an easy task and so they provide transport on motorised carts - you can choose to walk and let them take your luggage or you can join in the ride ... it's all fun.||||As this is a small town, don't expect everyone to speak your language. Perhaps try to learn some basic mandarin and you will find that it would get you a long way with receiving hospitality.||||This hotel deserves the ratings it has and we would certainly stay with them should we ever visit the area again.

this place is small lodge rather than a hostel. it is divided into 2 buildings and my room was upstairs in the building next to the building with reception and restaurant. It was very spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The location is terrific - a bit hard to find but in the middle of the old town (apparently this is one of the few buildings that survived the fire that destroyed most of the original old town a few years back) just a short walk to the main square. There was one staff member with excellent English

Ne vous laissez pas intimider par le mot Hostel qui signifie auberge de jeunesse ! J'avais une chambre individuelle avec ma propre salle de bain, la chambre était immense, très bien décorée, lit immense, couverture chauffante et chauffage d'appoint (les nuits sont fraiches à Shangri-La). Et le jeune homme qui gère ce lieu, ainsi que le restaurant en face, est absolument charmant. Il m'a accompagnée jusqu'au parking nord où m'attendait un taxi en trainant ma grosse valise ! Je recommande les yeux fermés !

不要被“Hostel”这个词吓倒，它的意思是青年旅馆！我住的是单人间，有自己的浴室，房间很大，装修得很好，床很大，电热毯和额外的暖气（香格里拉的夜晚很凉爽）。经营这个地方以及对面餐厅的年轻人绝对很有魅力。他陪我到了北停车场，一辆出租车拖着我的大行李箱在等我！我建议闭着眼睛！

The room are huge and very comfortable. The vue from the room was wonderful. The decoration in traditional style is amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful. For breakfast you can order Chinese or western breakfast. The location in Shangri-La old town is great. Definitely a very nice place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights in this boutique hotel. Very friendly staff, the view was great. The hotel is separated over several buildings. We stayed in the main building with nice decorated rooms but we had the bad luck to have a rooms with only 2 very small windows. Easy accessible from bus station with bus 1 to the end and from there walk 5-10 minutes. The hotel is a bit hidden behind the main square. Not easy to find. A simple sign from the main square would solve this.
