杭州大本营青旅

At first we were only going to stay in Hangzhou Dong for 3 or so days. Instead we stayed here 2 weeks and cut our Shanghai portion of our trip across China down to a couple of days. ||This place is home. |We stayed in the 8 bed bunk room coed right by the bathroom. The internet works good unless there are a bunch of people downstairs playing computer games. The owners are super friendly and so are the residents (i think they're all family) that run the food stall at night (which everything there is AMAZING btw). |There's a grocery store and bank with ATM across the street, multiple food and fruit stalls as you walk down the street. (Theres a woman who makes chao tian wrapped in onion pancakes who always had our food ready as soon as she saw us before we even made it across the street to her place - best breakfast Ever)|5 star duck restaurant (chain that has a famous location in Beijing) about 4 minutes walk, meal for two less than $30 US. |Free laundry and hang dry on the roof. ||Of course I'll be back as long as it's still there. Leaving this place was so hard. You really become part of the family.||Also if you want a soft bed, why would you go to an Asian country? I got the best refreshing sleep of my life while in China specifically because of the hard wooden beds.

起初我们只打算在杭州东呆三天左右。但我们在这里待了两周，把我们中国之行的上海部分缩减为几天。||这里就是家。|我们住在浴室旁边的八人间上下铺。除非楼下有一群人在玩电脑游戏，否则网络信号很好。老板娘非常友好，晚上摆摊的居民（我想他们都是家人）也一样（顺便说一句，那里的一切都很棒）。|街对面有一家杂货店和一家带自动取款机的银行，沿街走还有好几个食品和水果摊。（有一位做朝天葱油饼的女士，她总是在我们穿过马路到她家之前一看到我们就准备好了食物——这是有史以来最好的早餐）|五星级烤鸭店（在北京有一家著名分店的连锁店），步行约 4 分钟，两人餐不到 30 美元。|免费洗衣，并在屋顶上晾干。 ||只要它还在，我当然会回来。离开这里真的很难。你真的成了这个家的一部分。||另外，如果你想要一张软床，为什么要去亚洲国家？我在中国睡得有生以来最舒服、最清爽，就是因为那里有硬邦邦的木床。

I took a single room located on the 4th floor. It was small but clean and quiet. For the price of RMB 80/night, I know I should not ask for too much. So, while wifi speed wasn't great (too many people sharing?), well, I can't complain.||||PS: The bed was quite hard, so if you are not used to sleeping on hard beds, this place is not for you. If you actually would want a hard bed, then this place is perfect.||||The water supply in the bathroom was rather erratic. Sometimes, there was no water and sometimes the water heater did not work. It would be a big problem during spring and winter.||||Other than the above, I think this place would be good for the budget conscious backpacker. If you are staying for a week, you can actually do your own laundry - the rooftop is being used to sun your clothes. So, if you are planning to travel light, this is the ideal place for you.||||The staff were very friendly, that I must mention.||||The location is also very good. It is only a 10 minutes walk to and fro the metro station Zhalongkou which brings you to almost every place you can ever want to go as a tourist. There is a restaurant nearby which sells Kao Fish (Fresh live fish which is BBQ and then cooked in a Chongqing spicy soup). I would recommend that highly if you are staying at Da Ben Ying. Just outside the hostel is a BBQ stall which sells BBQ meat. Smells great although I did not eat there.

我订的是四楼的单人间，房间不大，但干净安静。80元/晚的价格，我知道不应该要求太多。所以，虽然无线网络速度不太快（是不是太多人共用？），但也没什么可抱怨的。||||附言：床很硬，如果你不习惯睡硬床，这里不适合你。如果你真的想要一张硬床，这里是完美的选择。||||浴室的供水不稳定，有时停水，有时热水器坏了。春冬季节会比较麻烦。||||除此之外，我觉得这里适合预算有限的背包客。如果你住一周，还可以自己洗衣服——屋顶可以晒衣服。所以，如果您计划轻装旅行，这里是您的理想之选。||||不得不说，工作人员非常友好。||||地理位置也非常好。步行10分钟即可到达闸龙口地铁站，几乎可以带您到达所有您想去的旅游胜地。附近有一家餐厅出售烤鱼（新鲜活鱼，先烧烤，再用重庆辣汤烹制）。如果您住在大本营，我强烈推荐这家餐厅。旅舍外面就有一个烧烤摊，出售烤肉。味道很棒，虽然我没有在那里吃。

We didn't really enjoy our stay here, although that was partly due to having splashed out on a rather nice double room in Shanghai. This hostel was back to basics with a eight bed dorm, which might've been ok but it didn't even have a door. Instead one wall opened directly on to the main staircase, separated only by a curtain. This was also close to what we suspect was the only bathroom, containing a sink, western toilet and weak shower. We didn't really explore the hostel but I don't think there was much to explore. The communal area inside was a ping pong table that everyone used their laptops on and some tables in the front courtyard.||||However, it wasn't all bad - there's Wifi, it's only one metro stop from the train station we arrived and left from and there's a street food BBQ thing just outside. We were barely at the hostel as we spent two days exploring the lake and hills of Hangzhou and took a daytrip to Shaoxing.||||If you have similarly busy plans and don't mind roughing it a bit then this could be a cheap option.

我们在这里住得并不开心，虽然部分原因是我们在上海花了大价钱订了一间相当不错的双人间。这家旅社回归了简陋的风格，有八张床的宿舍，可能还不错，但连门都没有。相反，一面墙直接通向主楼梯，仅用一道帘子隔开。这也很靠近我们怀疑是唯一的浴室，里面有一个水槽、西式马桶和水压很弱的淋浴。我们没有真正探索这家旅社，但我认为也没什么可探索的。里面的公共区域是一张乒乓球桌，每个人都在上面用笔记本电脑，前院里还有一些桌子。||||然而，它并非全是坏事——有 Wifi，离我们到达和离开的火车站只有一站地铁的距离，外面就有一家街头小吃烧烤店。我们几乎没有在旅馆待过，因为我们花了两天时间探索杭州的湖泊和山丘，并去了绍兴一日游。||||如果你有同样忙碌的计划，并且不介意稍微粗略一点，那么这可能是一个便宜的选择。
