★★★★★We did a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband. When we showed up his family was already there and he was amazed. Jean and Curtis are wonderful hosts and on site. Breakfast is hot at 9am. It is wonderful! If you have dietary restrictions they are accommodating with enough notice.

NillI recommend this bed and breakfast for a quiet getaway. I planned, and did propose to my fiancé in their gazebo. The owners went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. From roses and sparkling juice in the room, to putting up Christmas decorations early in the gazebo for me. The house is in good shape and the room with the balcony was great. The location is local to everything, but not in the middle of downtown like some. Breakfast was good, and served by the owners who engaged with the guests in conversation, giving it a comfortable setting. All in all, it was a memorable experience, and "she said yes"!!!!

★★★★★I have stayed in almost every b and b in Jefferson and this is the cleanest, best appointed Inn of them all. The property itself has been very well taken care of over the years. The Inn Keeper is very friendly and available to help you or answer any questions you may have. |I will be staying here again in the future.

★★★★★Jean and Curtis were very friendly and personable hosts. Oh, and can they cook!!! Breakfasts were fresh and healthy (-ish!!)|The inn was very clean, warm, cozy and conveniently located for my groups' needs. |If you have mobility issues, make sure to ask for the downstairs suite! No matter were you stay in Jefferson, you'll hear the train . . . this is far enough away from the main downtown area to be quiet, but close enough to get there in minutes. I would recommend this place to friends, and would also recommend the Haywood House for dinner!

NillUnfortunately, this Inn was not what we expected. Very noisy as it's close to the highway and you can hear the trains all night long. I did not know there was a downstairs room or would have reserved as I was in a leg brace and had to try and climb the stairs. The room with the TV and books was used every day by the owners family and thus we felt like we were interfering. I honestly would recommend another place.

NillI stayed here this week while working with the Northeast Texas Community College's honors group, working on a film. Jean and Curtis, the new owners, were wonderful! The house is amazing. The rooms are that perfect amount of homey and exquisite. Breakfast was so delicious. Jean took into consideration my dietary restrictions and customized my meal to meet my needs. To add to the stay, they were so very accommodating to a bunch of college students who all have ADHD. 10/10 would recommend.
