We were excited about our first stay at Greeter Falls Campground. We reserved site 86(F). The site was small for an RV with a slide so our camper barely fit. Large logs lined the site which posed a problem for the sewer line. Very little room to maneuver near the picnic/fire pit area. The site map did not show the campsites were next to a road so the 4-wheeler & road traffic was very loud. Not much peace & quiet here. The sites are not level so be aware. Not likely to stay here again.

We loved Greeter Falls Campground! We camped in Area A which is their primitive sites. The sites were clean and the provided picnic tables, fire rings, and fire grates were perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathhouse was extremely clean. The location was PRIME! Mere minutes from TONS of gorgeous hikes in and around Savage Gulf State Park, and less than an hour away from Fall Creek Falls State Park, and 30 minutes from South Cumberland State Park. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing Campground.

This was a great campground. Clean and with full hookups. The park area for the kids was perfect. There were 9 kids in our group. They all loved it. Kids say the bycicle riding wasn't the best. Due to being so close to the road. Bathrooms were super clean. We loved walking to the falls. It is a must. Totally recommend it. One thing to keep in mind. Try to arrive during the day time. It's super dark and will be a bit challenging setting up at night time.

A wonderful back-to-nature camping and RV location in the mountains east of Chattanooga. Very friendly, with all the basics for camping. Nicely wooded sites, easy in and out, great dog play area. Some unique touches, and we loved hiking the nearby waterfall trails. A little thunder and rain overnight only added to the positive experience. Gravel, not paved, roads, but we'll maintained!

For the most part we enjoyed our experience at Greeter Falls Campground. It was near waterfalls we planned on seeing, our slot was very spacious, Debbie who worked in the camp shot was very friendly and the campground was very clean and well maintained. The downside was the bathroom facilities...two toilets and two showers just isn't adequate. Let's face it, even people who have big RVs tend to still use campground bathrooms and it just wasn't enough. Hopefully, that will be changed soon enough because as I understand it there really aren't many campgrounds in the area.

My friends and I stayed at the Greeter Falls Campground the night we drove into the area to hike through Savage Gulf State Park. We had a great experience and would absolutely return. The staff are all extremely nice and were helpful with any questions we had. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the primitive campsites were separate enough to give you some privacy but not so secluded that it requires a hike to get to them. We all arrived later on in the day and it was very easy to unload our cars from the road then move to parking and quickly walk back to camp. I would absolutely recommend this campground especially if you aim to do some hiking in Savage Gulf.

This campground is excellent, and with new areas are under construction to expand. The bathhouse is clean. The grounds are well maintained. The camp store may be small with necessities but there is hot food available at certain times made to order. The location is very close to the West Trailhead of Savage Gulf and Greeter Falls - the location is excellent. The yurts tents are well constructed - the beds and mattresses are reasonably comfortable for tent camping. Depending on the time of year you are visiting just prepare for weather conditions - have a propane heater with extra propane tanks for the cold winter nights - the tent will get warm during the day even during the cold months. A fan is mounted inside the tent but I would imagine the hot months it would be steamy. Will visit again!

Can't say enough about this little gem. Peaceful, clean and wonderful people. Gets you back to nature. Our week stay was the best. Lots to do if ya love nature and history. You'll see God's beauty all around. Water falls a plenty . Stone Door was a breath taking sight. Find the old Beershaba Hotel for a cool history lesson and Highway 56 in Altamont (coffee and pastry shop) has great lunch and ice cream. We can't wait to get back.
