Encore Paradise Park

I moved here in early October. This place really is PARADISE because of the people (and the pool). I am a full-time resident in one of the mobile homes. The whole property is well maintained. There are more activities than anyone can do. The pool is large and clean. I love the water aerobics. The water jets are set so it makes a "lazy river" type current. The park provides pool noodles. I have a dog. She and I enjoy the dog park. The area recently experienced a record breaking flood. The whole community was amazing. The park provided a meal, free pick-up service of debris, street sweeping, and mosquito spraying. Neighbors were helping each other, even before the waters receded. I was a Thousand Trails member for over five years, traveling across the country in the RV I owned prior to moving here. This is one of the best parks I have visited: clean, friendly, and lots of amenities.

This 55plus resort has great amenities and staff. Our new manager, Delila, has done great job with a lot of improvements. The office is always there to make our stay here enjoyable. The park offers many, many activities that are managed by our energetic entertainment director, Carla. We have lived here 7 years and enjoy our large pool, recreation facilities, dances, celebrations and especially our great friends and neighbors. Come join us!

Great park! Many amenities including beautiful rec hall with large dance floor for use at karaoke and live music dances. There are community dinners and bingo, too. There's a billiard room, a library, a card room with darts, a fitness center with all variety of equipment. Don't get me started on the pool! Big and beautiful, well-maintained and water aerobics every morning except Sunday. |The staff are hard-working and very helpful. The new manager, Delailah, listens to residents and is doing a great job making improvements all around the park. Cynthia, the office manager, is friendly and efficient. So is the maintenance supervisor, Adrian, and his team.|But the really great thing about Paradise are the residents, full-time and Winter Texans alike. They are fun-loving and welcoming. |I highly recommend Paradise Park!

People we're so friendly and the amenities were nice, the local attractions r plentiful, th3 pool was heated to just the right temperature, hot tub was very clean and they also have plenty of noodles to use.we had no problems setting up thanks again

Paradise Park in Harlingen, TX is a great place to be. Our manager Delaila is very welcoming and has accomplished more in the short time she's been here than several previous managers combined! Great communications with residents to keep us informed and up to date. Office Manager Cynthia also very helpful and she and Delaila make a great team. The residents are like family and look out for one another. Our location in the Valley and in Harlingen is easy access to get where we need to, and our park is only 15 minutes from the VIA airport. Come join us - we'd love to see you!

This is a great location with good size pull through sites. There is an active adult community and everyone is very friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Granny and I moved in a little over a year ago as full time residents. We were accepted into the community with open arms and found a whole new family. This place is full of fun. Like dances, pool parties and smores by the fire when it gets cold. We are so happy we made this choice for our home. We wouldn't change a thing.

.....As full time residents since 2011, we consider Paradise Park our home. Three months ago Delaila became our new manager. She has been very busy getting some much needed improvements completed in our park. (1) We have a new front fence and back-side fence. (2) The City of Harlingen installed risers to stop continual water breaks. We were having weekly breaks and I don't think we have had any these past two months. (3) Torn, leaking canopies have been replaced at the pool. (4) A rotten fence behind the Recreation Building has been torn down. (5) The crumbling railroad ties around our mailboxes have been replaced with a nice brick retaining wall. (6) A new secure internal communication called RAVE used by Office Employees to notify residents by email or text of anything we need to be aware of. (7) ONGOING-much needed street repair on Emerald and Jasper. We are so thankful for these updates and look forward to our home (park) becoming one of the best in the Rio Grande Valley. Paradise Park is located in Harlingen,Texas with easy access to Sam's, Walmart, HEB (groceries) Doctors, V.A. Clinic and Hospitals. We are within 15 minutes of Valley International Airport and 45 minutes from South Padre Beach and all the seafood resturants you could want.
