NillSuch a great "in-between" place. 30 minutes from Austin, 30 minutes from Fredericksburg, 10 minutes from Johnson City, and right outside the entrance to Pedernales State Park. The facilities are very very clean and the hosts are amazing. They even have a washer and drier in case you don't want to take home dirty clothes! We stayed in the "Bird House" aka the Gypsy Wagon. It was just what we needed. Enough space to change and sleep. We spent most of our time on the rockers on the porch. There was an ac unit that more than cooled off the trailer. They are above and beyond for sure! The community areas are nice to get to know your neighbors and everyone was very respectful. We had no issue with it but the hill entrance is very steep. I could see someone with a large trailer struggling. With that said there were a couple of bigger trailers that had absolutely no issues. We will definitely frequent this site!

NillGreat location only 2 miles from Perdenales Falls. Was there first weekend in January and campsite was very quiet, only maybe 4 other people there. The facilities were great - kitchen had plenty of cooking gear and a fridge for storage (though we didn't use any of it other than toaster). Also a hot plate, toaster, microwave. Bathrooms were conveniently located and clean. Showers were hot even in outdoor temps that were ~55F. No complaints about anything.

NillBeautiful camp ground, excellent cabins. Honeymooned by the Park. 30 years later, we came back to the Falls, and this diamond was there just waiting to be appreciated. I deeply recommend this place. It is close to everything.

NillWe loved it. Just what we needed. Didn't stay there much cuz we were busy doing other things, but the grandsons loved the loft! Perfect for a trip to the hill country!

NillWe stayed last year and it was a great experience. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the hill to get in was very sketchy. Extremely steep. Thankful we had 4x4 pulling our camper. If you don't have a camper to towe you should be fine. We seen cars and mini vans get out just fine. There facilities was so clean, and is easily comparable to buc-ees restrooms. "So clean it will make mom happy" I loved the friendliness in the common area. Everyone taking turns in the kitchen just felt like such a great community. We plan to go back again this year.

NillWe stayed there for Pedernales Fall State Park 2 nights stay. It is close to park, 14 min to Johnson city for cute coffee shop if you need. Public kitchen is well equipped, if you forget something, its there or you can cook there is you wish. Coffee machine, coffee, Toaster, microwave, refrigerator, sink with dish soap. Just like little kitchen for everyone to use. We brought camping gear so did not use kitchen but did forget oil for frying egg in the morning. It was there. Forgot spatula to flip egg, it was there. I think people leave extra items that they do not need anymore, so even small charcoal and lighter fluid was there. There is 4 bathrooms with shower which is nicely maintained. Lights, little fan on the top and portable heater on the corner for every season. Make sure to bring sandal to use bathroom so you won’t have to step into water from shower. Flashing toilet, fire ring, each had BBQ grill. And some had Chair and table at site. I enjoyed the this small trip and this site made it pretty comfortable.

NillThey have really made this place a home away from home. First time glamping and it did not disappoint. They provide everything you need from dishes to towels to a bed and AC. It was great. We definitely will be back. And the host was amazing. Very friendly and understanding.

NillThis place is nestled and hidden down in God's country. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There are showers, a washer/dryer, and kitchen for use. Each slot has seating and a fire pit. It is quiet and the stars are bright. Pedernales Falls and many watering holes/bars/breweries are minutes away. This place is thoughtfully designed. We'll be regulars for sure.
