Comfort Suites Anchorage International Airport

The hotel is not brand new, smells a bit old. But the room was fairly clean and the staff was nice enough to give our kids snacks. The breakfast in the morning had a nice variety of hot foods, which my children enjoyed. It is great for the price.

Overall, I'd say it was a good experience. The room had been cleaned, the breakfast is one of the best I've seen, tons of hot and cold options. The pool was a great thing for the kids. Evening desk personnel could have been better, though. I'd go back for sure.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place has absolutely no professionalism. They couldn’t figure out an issue with my stay, kept giving me different wait times because they weren’t ready, and ultimately left me to handle the situation myself. I had to call for a non-refundable refund and go through the hassle of dealing with it on my own. Completely unacceptable experience—would not recommend.

Rooms: No issues. One or two stains on the carpet. There is a sink outside of bathroom which is nice. I don't understand why they put the coffee maker in the bathroom if there is a beverage sink in the rooms. It is more hygienic to put it on the counter with the beverage sink. Nice bathroom plenty of towels, large rooms, clean linens, microwave, fridge. I really didn't hear the planes. Service:5 very nice . People are nice. Breakfast: 5 stars Coffee in lobby; 1 star it feels like it is instant coffee. But they have hot water and tea and hot chocolate. So that is really good. Shuttle:5 stars They have a policy where they won't rent rooms to Anchorage residents. I asked about it. They said for safety reasons. What if someone needs a place to stay as a result of catastrophic loss to their home or what if they are fleeing domestic violence. I don't understand this policy.

Very comfortable rooms. We had a big group of us staying there. They were very efficient in checking everyone in without it looking like a soup line. Front desk was very nice. Shuttle was very efficient and one guy in particular named Brother was wonderful! Breakfast was a hit with everyone!

The hotel is a quick trip from the airport though it is off a side road that runs parallel to the main road so the first time turning in may be a bit tricky. The hotel is right next to a railroad though I do not recall this ever being an issue.||Overall the hotel is what I would expect from a Comfort suites. Bed was comfortable and it was clean. Beds were not great, but they severed their purpose. The free breakfast was again as expected, not amazing, but it got the job done.||Staff was friendly and helpful.

The review is only for hotel condition and not the staff, they are amazing and very helpful in answering any questions and/or concerns. I assume this place is/was acquired and need lots of changes. The room condition is not that great and things like AC, Shower, carpet, blankets, etc. need replacement and/or fixes. It is great if you're only at/near the airport for a night but definitely not for more than two nights. The breakfast us really good and full of everything you need. My friends and I spent a huge amount of money for one night (maybe it was a long weekend that's why) but it was too much for a Choice Hotel brand like Comfort Suites. They are supposed to be one of the top ones in the area. Also, just 6-8 minutes from the airport and free shuttle service 24x7. Our flight was late so we reached after 1 am and yet the shuttle and front end staff were respectful towards us.

Just so yall know, they dont give room to anchorage residents. So if one day you need somewhere to stay because you have been kicked out from your place or just want to relax somewhere else besides home, well this is not the place. Plus they do let you book and pay without saying anything and the minute you get to the door they tell you “oh oops… no Anchorage residents here” like?
