★Where we were originally staying fell through and we needed to find accommodations rather short notice. This place was the only hotel that had two rooms to accommodate our family. It’s dirty, smells awful depending on the time of day you can smell pot. When we first arrived neither room had towels, tissue and one room was missing the bathroom door. When we asked the front desk if housekeeping could at least empty our trash can she said she’d call them. Two hours and two phone calls later housekeeping showed up and was put out that we insisted on emptying the trash. There was dirty towels and trash lining the hallway. By the second day we understood why. That was the only way you could get clean towels and empty trash cans. Oh but don’t expect the trash cans to be put back in your room. They never made it and we had to use souvenir bags to put trash in. I guess I’ve become to accustomed to traditional hotels where they make up your room and have a clean safari welcoming feeling. ||||It’s a good thing we spent most of our days outside seeing the beautiful sights of Alaska. If you can stay somewhere else I’d highly suggest this. It’s not worth being this cheap, stay somewhere else.

NillIt was very relaxing and chill place. No one bothered me. Staff was friendly and great customer service. Beds were very comfortable and I got a awesome night of sleep. I appreciated the updated rooms and non smoking. Very private and low key. Paid in cash and got my deposit back. I recommend to anyone who wants a cheap motel with newly renovated rooms and easy check in and checkouts.

NillEmployees and Manager were all so very kind, considerate, respectful, knowledgeable, understanding, and knew their jobs very well. Rooms are seemingly dated but can't beat the prices, and with the staffing and managing as welcoming and helpful as they are, had a very comfortable, family and home-like atmosphere. Couldn't have been a better home away home. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much! Don't have an account of our own so wrote this review under our & friends account, hope that is ok! Keep up the bright shinning y'all! Thank you!

★★★★This is a value price motel, but the room was clean and satisfactory. The receptionist was very friendly and handled two problems well. First, hotels.com had not communicated our reservation properly. She gave us our room anyway, and worked the issue out on her own. Then the airport shuttle driver wasn't available. She called us a taxi at the hotel's expense.

★I knew going in that this place was low-budget. Simply needed a cheap place to crash near airport for one night. Bad impression started while waiting for shuttle - for 40 minutes. It literally would’ve been quicker to walk. Shuttle driver was bad mouthing colleagues all the way to hotel. Check in was fine. Room was old, awful... dirty, really dirty, paper thin walls so as to make it easy to hear continual heated shouting matches from the loving couple next door, view of hideous brown clapboard wall. Wild shifts in water temp while taking a shower is borderline dangerous.||||Owners should consider mowing place down and rebuilding.||||I shoulda ponied up another $75 for the Marriott Courtyard next door.

NillThe lobby was filthy dirty. Girl at the deck asked for a photo copy of my license. Never had that happen before. Room was dirty, no mattress pads on the mattress. Mattress appeared to have bed bugs. Sheets were dirty and ill fitting. Bathroom had mold and dead bugs in it. We left and demanded a refund. Do not go to this place.

★The rooms are terrible, smell awful, many things are broken and the WiFi is erratic. The receptionist was helpful but the restaurant is a disaster zone. No table service. Bartender lady refused to come out of the bar waving bottles at me from a distance to show what she had for sale. She seemed busy chatting to some friends. An old Chinese man who came to take the order at the table after a considerable wait, could hardly speak a word of English. Could not explain what was not available on the menu (yes, not available), could not organise a glass of wine though the bar with the uninterested bar tendress was 20 feet away (I gave up), did not know the English word for some meats, did not know what chilie meant and has no clue what Food and Beverage Service means. The airport shuttle driver had to be summoned from home or somewhere else. He did turn up eventually and the taxi that was ordered in lieu was cancelled. The safety 'chain' in the room door had only one half installed so had to prop a chair against the door for safety as the neighbourhood, other guests, and staff looked dicey. The furnishings in the rooms were awful and did not look anything like the photos on the website

★★For a very long time they tried to call to call the shuttle, so we did not succeed. We arrived at the hotel by taxi, and another hour tried to call in the previously booked rooms. The phone at the reception is heard very rarely. Settled, the rooms are not the cleanest. At 2 o'clock in the night a maid came to us, who simply forgot that there is someone in these rooms. As a result, not the most pleasant impressions about the hotel.
