NillIt’s the best place I’ve stayed in Alaska! We arrived early, and the restaurant staff let us rest there while we waited and even brought out some fresh fruit. We came to see the northern lights, and it was everything we hoped for. Watching the auroras right from our room was absolutely magical, and we even got some of our best photos. We were lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve there, and it was such a special experience. We had hotpot in the restaurant, which was perfect for the cold night. They also hosted their own fireworks show. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, and the staff throughout the resort were amazing. We couldn’t stay longer this time, but we’ll definitely plan a return visit in the future.

NillI came to visit Alaska all the way from Georgia and had the most magical stay at the Arctic Igloo Resort, and it’s easily the best place I’ve ever stayed in my 30 years of traveling! The experience of seeing the northern lights multiple nights in a row from the warmth and comfort of my bed through the glass igloo windows was absolutely unforgettable. Waking up under the dancing auroras was a dream come true.l for me as it has been something I’ve wanted to see for years. Truly a bucket list experience and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The restaurant served the most delicious hot pot, which was such a comforting and hearty meal after a day of exploring. The room and bathroom were impeccably designed, combining luxury with the charm of Alaska’s rugged beauty. It felt like staying in a five-star retreat nestled in the wilderness. The New Year’s fireworks display was breathtaking, creating the perfect way to ring in the year. This resort is truly a gem. I can’t wait to come back and experience the magic all over again. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan getaway, Arctic Igloo Resort is the place to be!

NillSome people who haven’t been here have said the resort doesn’t exist or that the reviews aren’t genuine. All we can say is that we’ve been there ourselves, and it’s very real. If you’re unsure, it might help to contact the resort directly with any questions. We wanted to share our honest experience to help others decide if it’s the right place for them. WE HAVE BEEN THERE! This place is truly incredible, and we absolutely loved every moment of our stay. It’s rare to find places like this in Fairbanks. The igloo's interior design is a delightful mix of cozy and modern, with thoughtful details that made our experience feel special. Watching the Northern Lights through the glass roof was like living in a dream—an unforgettable experience. The surrounding landscape of snow-covered mountains, frozen lakes, and wide-open spaces created a true winter wonderland. We rented a car to get to the igloos, which made exploring the area convenient. The staff were welcoming and helpful, giving us clear directions when we arrived. During our visit, we noticed they’re building a large new structure that the workers said will be a restaurant, which adds excitement for future guests. The service was excellent, and the manager responded promptly to our questions. This is the perfect place to connect with nature, relax, and experience the Arctic at its best. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure and comfort, this is it.

NillStaying at Arctic Igloo was a highlight of our recent Fairbanks trip. Not only are these igloos perfect for viewing the Aurora (and close to Chena hot spring), but the owners went above and beyond for us. They kept us aware of the Aurora forecast and had their driver easily transport us back to Fairbanks. Highly recommend a stay at this brand new property!

NillDefinitely still a work in progress but what they’ve done here is awesome! The cabin is warm enough even when tonight’s temps dipped below -17° F. The hotpot dinner was a fun experience looking out over the snow. The entrance is a little hard to find and Google maps isn’t quite correct if you’re coming from Chena Hotsprings, but they’ve strung a long line of lights to guide you in which helps. My wife can’t stop saying how crazy it is to see the Northern lights in person and from our warm bed too! Can’t wait to see how this place develops and grows. Certainly worth the stay. The fireworks for NYE were amazing being right over our head.

NillI have to write a review for this newly opened Aurora Lodge. For a price of $1,500 a night, its facilities are simply too poor. First, there were no staff members at the reception center. From check-in to check-out, I never saw any staff present. The reception area only had warm water available, but no cups. As for the glass cabin, while the interior view is undeniably stunning with its unique perspective and beautiful design, the in-room amenities were just as disappointing. There were no containers for use, no cups, no kettle for hot water, and no Wi-Fi. If you wanted hot water, you had to walk to the reception center, but there were still no cups available. In such cold weather, the lack of basic amenities made the experience truly disappointing and does not match the price.

NillAfter staying in hotels in town, I would say this place is AWESOME. The room is well designed and super clean. And I didn’t expect there to be such a modern bathroom in the glass igloo. Love this place! If you’re heading to Fairbanks, you’ve gotta check it out!
